Can some one transcribe what this woman just said ... she is my new hero and no one could have said it any better.

Its is a parents obligation to help LE in the investigation of their child.

#1394's opinion=Guilty by omission.......no cooperation with LE investigators who were searching for Caylee!!

She doesn't think she can set aside her opinion of guilty......
I loved her honesty!
God Bless her & family for the loss of her son killed in auto accident.

HHJP: you dicuss?

not that I recall.

HHJP: any water cooler talk?

probably. I don't recall specifics. the general concensus was the defendant was somehow responsible for the child's death.

HHJP: have you formed any opinions or impressions about the defendants guilt or innocence?

yes, but on monday I read the allegations. one said she was unwilling to co operate?

HHJP: she was not wanting to give LE information.

then yes I have an opinion.

HHJP: what is that opinion, be frank

to lose a child is the worst thing that can happen in the world, my husband and I did lose a son in a car crash. we were co operative. the report, my conviction is that failure to be engaged in that process, I would see that as a guilt bite ommission.

HHJP: as a result of your life experience do you think you could be fair?

I could not be. the opinion I just expressed would outweigh my objectivity.

HHJP: we want you to be honest and I commend you for your candor.

This is BS.
Next batch @ 12:30.
How asinine. JP 's being to generous with the attorneys.
What possible schedules could they have aside from this?

ITA!

Seriously, that comment that this excused juror just made should be in the Prosecutions opening statement.. If anyone has the ability to transcribe the exact quote, please do ... I will do a FP post on that statement alone.
You can get it from the video later.. I am.. I loved her.. Having lost a child I agree with her

Much appreciated, if you could email me the transcript of the statement she made ... I thank you.

I have news for Casey and Defense Team Casey ... every parent and grandparent that winds up in the jury pool may not say it but feels the same way in the back of their mind. That very question and issue of no cooperation will be stressed in this trial and they have no answer for it. Her maturity, age, family upbringing or size of her brain is not going to answer the question why she did not actively help in the search for her child.

Casey & Baez ... GAME, SET ... MATCH!!!

I do not think its to accommodate attorneys as much as he brought PJs back in two time slots

Next panel of jurors will arrive at 12:30.

Recess until then.

Perry's plan: When they get 15 pj's ...he will announce he will bring them in and swear them.

They may back strike before they are sworn.

I said it late last night .............................. the Defense is merely going through the motions of jury selection just IN CASE they lucked into a very favorable jury make-up. They will evaluate the final seated jury and most likey will plea bargain out to avoid the death penalty. I seriously doubt we will have a trial.

Casey was asked if she want to plea at the beginning of this. She said no.  I think she blew her last shot.

IMHO, he should.   In a case like this he should have no less than 4 alternates...Scott Peterson trial comes to mind

The Defense can ASK for a plea bargain at anytime......................... that doesn't mean the State or Judge have to grant it.
