plus if he is a struggling actor, the $30 a day may look pretty darn good to him!

Jurors in California only $15 per day so Florida is looking pretty good to me too
Dallas County -- $5.00/day and a free round trip bus pass. You can park for $5.00/day!

IIRC it's $10 a day here, unless/until you're chosen to serve.  Then it increases to either $20 or $30 a day for the actual trial.
If chosen for a trial -- it MAY increase to like $10 0r $12 per day and they will validate the $5.00 parking if you use one of the actual county owned lots.

Bull Hockey!  If another juror has a different opinion ... this guy is going after them full tilt!  I don't believe anything he says.

Casey's mood shifted noticeably during this exchange.

21 Years Old
I wouldn't care if he were 21 if he had some life experience other than living at home with mommy.  If he'd done a couple tours of Iraq and Afghanistan I'd be okay with 21.

I can agree with that!

Agreed. I have nothing against 21 yo's, just this one. I know 18 you old kids who have more maturity and life experience than this kid. Theyhave served their country and now have jobs.

He wants to be on the jury because its a better gig than he presently has.

Like him or not, he is her PEER (although I'm pretty sure he hasn't murdered his own child)

I don't like him as a juror either.

Not at all.

By definition he is a "peer"

Lives with Mommy
No real responsibilities
Clueless as to what is going on in the world
Sorta, sometimes works

good points!

WOW ... You would be correct ... YIKES ... However, the jury hardly needs a drama queen on it. We already have one being tried for murder.

And one as lead defense attorney!  Two drama queens is company ... three would be a crowd.  ... oh, and then there's cindy ...

She went from appearing to like this guy to the same clenched jaw, stare thing she does she hears something she doesnt like.   In other words, her facial expression changed when he mentioned that if he felt a certain way he would be rather vocal about it.

Good call Samarie!  He could probably empathize with her plight as far as Cindy goes ... bad bad pick as a juror IMO.
