I'm not actually viewing -- just trying to follow here. Was this PJ dismissed for "cause" or a "peremptory challenge"?

Is Casey allowed tweezers? Her eyebrows always look newly plucked.

She is plucking at them with her fingers, so its been reported.

10 PJ dismissed today, two are kept.

We are up to 10 PJs's being retained in total so far.

thanks for keeping count brandi...I tried but had too many interruptions....thanks to those who have been able to sit yet another day and listen to Ms. Finnell and JB.....both almost put me to sleep.   I am beginning to think this trial may indeed start on time.  I had my doubts earlier in the week.

Brandi, thank you so much for screen shots today, which feed are you using?

Also, need the other players if possible, the State and Foghorn Leghorn when possible. No hurry.

TIA

Yes, but I don't like that we may have to go with only 15 jurors. Not enough for the length of the trial, imo.  He said maybe 18, but time is ticking away....

And answered the second question very well.   So far so good, well for the State that is.

Okay, then I have been wrong ........ there are not at least 10 "strikes" from each side left to hand out. Does anyone have a count of "peremptory challenges" each side has left? We should be closer than I had thought!

That whole "age of the defendant at the time of the crime" still gripes my soul!  My son isn't the most mature 24-yr-old ... and wasn't the most mature 4th grader (as told to me by his teacher) ... he still knew right from wrong ... and that murdering someone was wrong!  Grrr!

She may have some age related wisdom.  But she seems slow to me.  Any idea how old she is?
Have they asked if she has children, etc. or is that all covered on the form she filled out?
Thanks.

I saw a video on youtube where they do it with string.

I think each side has used 1 each.

I would feel a lot more comfortable with 18 as well. I agree with you it is going to be pushing it ...I am sure JP would like the 18 as well but he seems to be bulldozing to ensure the trial starts when he said it would.  Kudos to him!!
