Brandi-

I know this will change with challenges tomorrow, but can you list the pt jurors in order by number and sex, please?

I am curious to see the breakdown.

Court is recessed; Casey goes over to Mason and grabs onto his arm.

Her new "main squeeze"...
Another short lived crush!    Monkey Devil!  Maybe the next one will last her a lifetime.   Monkey Devil!

She just doesn't flirt with Bozo since he called her bluff and said she was a 2-y-o.  Mason is still southern-gent enough to smile and pat her and "bless her heart" even if she's being a prat.

As a kid, when we'd stretch our sleeves over our hands my parents would yell at us to stop stretching out our sleeves.  That's what Casey reminds me of...not a mature woman, but still a child that throws temper trantrums.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw her doing that. EVERYTHING about that girl irritates me to no end. Her fidgeting, smug expressions, sleeves over hands, arrogant giggles, smarty smirks, doodling on her pad. Everything.

The tricky part about backstrikes is that if they use up all their backstrikes just to delay, they'll probably be getting rid of jurors that may have been favorable. And the judge would just keep going another day or two till he reached the quota. Then the jury would totally be tilted toward the prosecution since the prosecution could still strike potential defense sympathizers.

Another thing is right now they know what they have.  If they use up all their strikes, and they bring in more pt jurors, they may very well get stuck with people unfavorable to their side and be stuck with it.

So, do you go with what you know- or chance getting something you have been trying to avoid?

I thought he said 3 or 4 in the morning, then backstrikes, then swearing in and 4 more, or was he referring to the same 4?

I think that is too much work for me.

My brain is a bit frazzled watching all this every day and keeping the records I have kept.

To date, here is the PJ retained list, broken down by male and female:

17 retained so far.

Males= #1340, #1232, #1129, #1019, #1407, #1119, #1025, #1426, #1159, #3397

Females= #1398, #1312, #1055, #1319, #1251, #1429, #1007

The start swearing in.

If I heard him correctly.

I don't think Mason would do that, for that reason alone.  But Casey is the boss, she may feel differently!

I have a couple questions, ya'll. Why aren't GA and CA there during these proceedings? Who is providing her clothes? And is it a fact that Casey is being medicated or just assumed?

Casey is definitely FINALLY looking nervous/terrified while they are at that final sidebar..they are nearing completion..about to be sworn and she is throwing out the life preserver...unfortunately they do have too many challenges left to use which may complicate things...the question is do they want to chance getting the unknown if they remove some of these jurors that they previously deemed fine and good or let their challenges ride...should be interesting...

Even more interesting was the glimpses of what looked like Baez and the prosecution speaking right before they led Casey back to her luxury suite at Hotel Wouldn'twanttobeya...maybe just maybe they ARE entertaining the possibility of plea bargaining at this late date?

I hope someone other than Jinkasaurus (because she always gets it wrong) can tell us how many of the seventeen have had challenges overruled, while not being PC'd. That would get us at least a minimum number known to get backstruck tomorrow.

I still predict a plea bargain.... but not until the Jury is sworn. They are TRYING to get a favorable jury first.................................. ain't gonna happen. -JMO
