I have mainly been listening not watching a lot...doing chores....I have not thought she has been medicated.....so what are y'all seeing today that makes you think today she is medicated?? I am not doubting your observations just wondering what you have seen.  Every time I have glanced her today she just looks disinterested and chatty with the defense team when taking breaks

When she was not medicated she was constantly preening, playing with her hair, rubbing her hands, wiping off the desk and messing with napkins, crying, obsessively keeping the pencils in order and making little plies of wadded up tissues, etc.  Now she's very calm and zoned out looking and rarely messing with the hair.  Last Wednesday,  was the worst day.  I think that evening they gave her some meds, because on Thursday she was better and has been better since then.  IMO, she's definately medicated.  Otherwise there's a switch on her somewhere that was turned on an finally got turned off.  Vast difference from last Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (she got markedly worse each day) vs. the end of last week and today.

Thanks Puzzler..... I am aware of the issues you mention and agree Wednesday was the worst day....and  the crying when JP was reading the charges. So y'all could be right about her being medicated..perhaps anti anxiety meds??   So I wonder if that 911 call to the jail was for her...I think that was Wednesday night....

On the other hand, maybe even her lawyer calling her a 2-year-old made her realize that no one was buying her histrionics and that she wasn't looking quite as "cute" in sob-mode.   (That being said, I think she's likely medicated - to get her to stop acting so weird and suspicious).

wow, no challenges!

I see a ton of back strikes coming down the pike...I pray this guy makes it thru.

I also hope the judge in his wisdom will take it to 20 potentials because it is MHO that we safely need no less than 4 alternates.   Example, if memory serves the Scott Peterson trial had 3 jurors that got replaced.

They have 16 PJ's and 17 potential backstrikes~ making -1 if they use all.
What do u think JP would do if that happened, God forbid?

Either keep going or bring voir dire back to OC is my best guess

Jinkasaurus reporting not 1 juror has mentioned the "31 days" before Cindy reported Caylee "missing".

I think this trial may not start till Wednesday because I think the defense especially will wait until either the end of the day or first thing Tuesday morning, just before jury is sworn in, to backstrike.

Wasn't that trial 5 months?  Or am I confusing it with another?

Yes, that trial went 5 months

Thanks Capp.  They should have brought in CJBP for that trial...that woulda taken care of that.

I think Thursday at best.

They are promised a travel day to go to Orlando and get settled in, I believe, before Trial begins.

OC I'd guess.
I think he'd have a fit and these attorneys (at least the state) wouldn't use all their strikes.

Could the State use this portion as a strategic move, accepting a good deal, as the defense rejects left and right, with CJBP overriding??  Oh yeah, I heard Diana Tennis on InSession this am, saying if the DT was smart, they would only strike one pj at a time, not a group of them at the same time. We shall see what they do, but Mason is an old hat at this.

Thursday does sound more likely then. BTW, didn't JP say that as soon as he reached 15, he was going to swear in the jurors, sliding in the alternates as backstrikes were used? Do you think he might try swearing them in tonight, which is why he is insisting on this ending by 5 pm?
