What's the dealiyo here? Weren't they supposed to go no further than 5pm? I thought that's why their next pj was supposed to be one that had previously tried to get off as a hardship case. Maybe they called the wrong pj.

Here's my imagination at work:  THey're in the jury room deliberating and he says "dude, she killed her kid, she needs to fry".  then a slow chuckle, and everyone agrees and they fry her

He's both purposefully attempting to confuse the PJs & exhibiting his inexperience to be more succinct.   Way back in one of his very first hearings in this case he made it very clear that he does not agree with nor respect the law but rather defies it.   I will never forget when he stood up and argued with Judge Strickland that he didnt agree with something standard to the Florida State Constitution.

WOW...I don't remember that (probably not the only thing I have forgotten).  He should have had his License taken away right then and there.  No wonder it took him so long to pass the bar...he probably answered the question how HE thought it should be, not how it is.  Thanks for that insight.

I will say at the moment I think he would lean towards guilty...still assessing due to his flat affect.
