Man, ICA looks like she's been rode hard and put away wet these last few years.  I'd say meth, but we know she's just been sitting in jail. No sunshine, no cell phones, no pizza. And when she comes into court, she smiles and laughs like she actually gets to choose what she eats all day.  She's aged so much!  I remember the early days when she looked all bright-eyed, bushy-tailed, and full of fake-innocent wonder in court. Now she looks older than me! (I'm in my 30s). No matter how much she acts like it's not getting to her, jail has gotta be one hellish "vacation", All JMHO.

I'll speculate all I want -- the "private matter" is just that -- a plea deal. There is no way they can say that is what it is (or any different statement about jury selection tomorrow). If it gets out they are seeking a plea and can't get agreement from the State -- they have admitted publicly she is guilty and then they are really cooked.

Question: What is up with the way Casey holds her hands and lower arms when she walks in and out of court? She's got the hands clenched and acts like she wants to avoid touching anything until she is sitting down at the defense table.

It has always made me think of a surgeon after sterilizing their hands.

I just think her need for attention would prevent any plea deal.  I can't imagine her relinquishing the spot light until the fat lady sings.  I guess we will see.

JB has the runs and has messed himself up. He leaves. JP wanted Jar to find out if Casey was OK to continue jury selection without him. Casey says "no" so JP is pizzed!

CBB, I doubt it is anymore sinister than this. And I think that would be enough to pizz JP off after his speech before lunch about the time factor.

IF ICA decided to plea, would she want to talk to her mother first? I know she refused to see her, but of all the people she could call, IMO, she'd call Cindy.

Baez likely doesn't want her to plea, or to talk to her parents who may talk her into trying to plea.

Baez leaves for lunch and doesn't return.  Claims he's sick.

Maybe he's showing her he thinks it's a bad idea to plea/talk with her mom.  So, he feigns sick.

Is there any way she could get a note to her parents through one of the other attorneys?  Maybe that's the division at lunch we're hearing about?

Hello all monkeys   

I was just re-watching these proceeding (as I feel let down from this morning’s sequences...lol)   

And as I was watching this part I actually watched BHW intensely and I would really like to get the smart monkey's opinion..

Starting at 3:11 until JP returns (around 11:42) there is some major discussion going on. You can see BHW's forehead crease and she gets quite intense and looks as though she is about to cry. Is there something big going on? I would love everyone's impression here..

No Baez, we WON'T quit speculating.  What kind of private matter would Judge Perry even consider at this point in jury selection?  They can run but they cannot hide.  I saw Judge Perry hold his hand up off the bench as he asked Mason if he had anything to add.  As if he was saying don't say too much.  This can't be because of illness, I thought at one point, Ann Finnel was going to pass out while she held on to that wall.  She even seemed to be dozing at times.  Baez spoke at length this morning, he didn't sound the least bit ill, certainly not as ill as Ann has been.  Something is up, as it always is with the defense and it was obvious that Judge Perry didn't like it one lil bit.  Baez is pulling more of his antics because he knows he can't win this.  Casey was told over and over by people right in front of her that she was guilty.  There is no story that Baez can tell that will ever explain what happened in a way to make Casey not guilty.  Justice is coming and it is worth the wait.

Casey has a very prissy pants walk.  She walks like what she thinks someone would walk like in a fashion show.  However it is just the opposite. The mimimize the rearend movement and glide....they don't rotate the back end while walking.
