I don't think it was a coincidence that CA & GA have had their attorney get there names in the media this week.  I think something has happened and they've finally had to face the music.  They go down with her, while she's tying the anchors around their necks, or they can cut her loose and let her drown herself.  Cindy is a "topper" and I've said before that she's whatever ICA is.  They are 2 of a kind, and she will not let ICA get one over on her without a fight.  She's swinging, and ICA knows it.

Could it be that she's decided to take a plea deal so that her parents can't make any MORE money on Caylee's back?  No tshirt sales, no buttons, if the inmate cops a plea?  She is a spiteful bitch, she told us so.

Baez Says "Private Matter" Led To Early Court Dismissal
Posted: 5:28 am EDT May 18, 2011
Updated: 4:18 pm EDT May 18, 2011

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. -- Judge Belvin Perry unexpectedly dismissed court on Wednesday after returning from an extended lunch recess on day 9 of Casey Anthony's murder trial.

"Mr. Mason, have you had an opportunity to discuss the matter with Ms. Anthony?" Perry asked.

"I have, Your Honor," Mason said.

"Anything you need to add?" Perry asked. "OK, this court will be in recess until 8:30 tomorrow morning."

Not for nothing, but that quote is incorrect, that is not what JP asked him.  He specifically asked him if had CONFERRED with his client on "the matter."

Important Distinction, imo.
The quote is correct. It starts at 2:25    http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/local/caylee-anthony/os-casey-anthony-trial-week-two-wedne20110518,0,2431463.story

i still think its a good chance its a plea.  casey can only take things so far in her life until she sees the writing on the wall kind of like she did with the universal studios and yuri melich, finally admitting, at the end of a hallway, that she had lied

If this was the case, wouldn't Chief Justice Perry be able to pull strings and get it taken care of himself?  He seems to be able to do a lot of things, I had no idea a judge could do.  He seemed so sure that opening statements would begin on Monday, why would he put that out there like that?  This is so confusing.  Baez knew he would cause more speculation by telling everyone not to speculate.  Why wouldn't the judge just clear up something simple?  Every day when the judge adjourns he explains, what is happening the next day and what he is going to do about the potential jurors.  Today he seemed to just want to get off the bench and the hand raising gesture to Mason to keep him from talking too much, just seemed odd.  I also noticed LDB, watching Casey walk out of the courtroom, just staring at her, like she was trying to figure something out, it seemed out of character for her.  She usually just sits and doesn't make any attempt to acknowledge Casey's strut.

you think it'll be this hallway or the other one?  I guess if it is the other one (lethal injection) than she won't have any input at that point.  I never thought about it like you put it but you may be exactly right.  As long as she is alive (even though admitting guilt) she can later still put her spin on it somehow.

I thought so too..infact I thought Baez brought up the fact he was involved in another case and the court times overlapped..and the Judge said he would be able to take care of that for him

If the delay is b/c of a possible plea, I would think that they would have to present the actuality of a plea deal as an almost certainty to the judge.  In fact I can't really see the judge halting the proceedings for anything other than a family emergency (including filing appeals).  If it was just an appeal or even Casey just further considering a plea, I can't see them holding up the process for something that could be going on in the background while they continue the jury selection.  The thing with the plea though is that the prosecution would have almost had to have left it on the table.  Usually those things have a dead line, I would think.

I noticed the hand gesture, too, Magic. It makes me wonder what he didn't want Mason to say.  One of the other things I was speculating about was whether the defense is going to try to go over Judge Perry's head to overrule his jury selection procedures.  Or, even worse, to try to have him removed.  Maybe that's what Casey was telling him to do.  Or could it have to do with Cindy and George and Caylee's so-called trademark?  Could she be trying to stop her family from taking over what Casey thinks is her turf, i.e. ownership of Caylee?  If so, the dysfunction in that family is off the charts!

Yep, and I got docked $1.18 from my Zazzle.com account to prove it!
The irony is $0.88 of that $1.18 earnings were from purchases made after Nancy Grace's show last night. 1 purchase was made @ 10:43 last night, and 1 purchase was made this morning @ 12:26am.

Couldn't agree more, his not speculating comment is very telling if you ask me.  Nothing in this case makes any sense, why would we think it would start today?  I just can't figure out why Judge Perry would go along with anything at this stage of the trial.  So many questions and so few answers.

Klaas, are we still protected by freedom of speech to say "Justice for Caylee"?  I love the way it sounds but if we can't please delete and let us know.

Is there a list of visitors to her at the Pinellas County jail today?  Wonder if JB stopped in to see her after his "private matter" was taken care of.

I agree 100%. For some freakish reason, I've gone through this whole day thinking today was Thursday. Now, knowing it was only Wednesday, I still think they'll seat the 12 jurors tomorrow, or Friday if all PCs are utilized, and get the alternates by Saturday. Unless Baez plays malingerer/liar again tomorrow.

But she still didn't admit to anything at that point.

She's a sociopath..they are just wired differently in the way they react.  She is not going to plea at this point..her last opportunity will be in court on the first day of trial..that's if she asks for a plea and the State accepts.  Right now her mind is focused on other things..and I would bet whatever George and Cindy have up their sleeve has suddenly become very important to her.  She has just been notified they are taking over her name, Caylee's name, etc..that's how her mind reads it..and it was a beautiful move.they have taken her identity from her other then being the prisoner she now is..this move usurped her.    They are not about to take the fall for this ..and they shouldn't ..they did not kill Caylee..Casey did.  Remember I am talking sociopathehere..so anything to do with Caylee and Casey ..Casey think she owns and deserves..Cindy just put her foot down and said hell to the no.
