I am so depressed now.  JBP needs to put his foot down and get his ball moving.  This is just stupd now.  He is the Chief Judge, he has power.  Can they really just stop and start over again somewhere else, and what if they do this there too?

He has been way too lenient.

JMO, JP doesn't want a mistrial....

Sorry Caylee, the jury took your day away.

Are other counties obligated to take cases from out of their county?  LIke how did OJs trial work.  It was moved, wasn't it?  Why was that court house free for the lenght of that trial?

wow wow wow

I dont get why they just cannot bring them all in! That is how they usually do conduct Jury selection...

Now that Baez knows this he will do all he can do to make sure he does not have 12!
Now that Baez knows What? Help! I missed it!

If they do not have 12 Jurors plus alternates by tomorrow they have to find another county to do jury selection..

Oh, thanks. I hope the State doesn't do much more striking, because the defense has only one strike left. Plus the one strike for alternates. So giving the defense 2 strikes, I think they'll have jurors by end of day if they don't keep delaying with these lectures from the judge. He should not waste time with this kind of thing, because the defense couldn't absolutely care less. As many problems for prosecuting this case, the better they like it.

How can baez put a stop to them getting 12 jurors today? I don't understand how that can happen. He only has 1 more strike and there are what bout 15 more pj. I don't see how he could put a stop or halt into them getting 12. Please explain to me how he can do that..
If he can show cause with juror they are currently questioning, it doesn't count as a strike, is how I understand it??  Anyone, I was trying simplify...

They have 15 more people. They have to question all 15 (some are sick) pick a jury  swear them in plus alternates all be the close of business tomorrow...

they can do this...they only need 1 more to seat the jury right?  then get the alternates in Orlando?  would that work

Yikes, we should be able to look that up online right?  If we knew the city he lived in or zip code?  I always do that before I move to a new apartment or area.  Thanks for letting me know, Capp.

Yes, it would be in the database & unless some huge error occurred he wouldnt be there as a felon.   We dont know if he was accused of something or someone he knows.

Unless he did it as a minor. then he would not show up in the data base unless the court did a check - which I am pretty sure they do not.

goodmorning everyone.  i think jp is gonna let them keep questioning people until lunch time tomorrow and then swear in the jurors and alternates, use friday as a travel day and start on monday. i'd rather just let baez have his way with this so it doens't end up an issue on appeal.

What is AF adding up, how much more lunch money she is going to spend if they start all over, or maybe how much money she is going to lose, since she is probably not being paid?

It can be done. JP said it has taken 1 hour to question each PJ so that is 15 hours. I say stop taking all these breaks and just do it or bring all the PJ and question them as a group like it is done in most jury trials..

As much as I do like Judge Perry, most of this is his fault due to poor time/juror management by not just making them sit and wait. You cannot be nice to or try to please everyone. He knows Bozo is a doosh head and his antics were expected. Not enough time was planned out for this extensive death jury.. JP should stop making empty promises. The Judge's focus is on preventing appealable issues, as it should be. Let's get moving

I am glad he is thinking about the jurors too, my gosh, this is pathetic.  They just cannot sit for 2 weeks in a room waiting to hear something.

JP had to get a call or something when he took that first 10 minute break during the questioning of that juror..I mean he denied it when it was first brought up this morning.

Seemed to me he was making Baez own his request of doing all 15 prior to using last pc.  Asking how he wanted to do that as in working hours.  And if they didn't want to work overtime to do so, realize no facility and restart all over.  That was why the breakdown of how long each total interview was.. just working out schedule - sorta shit or get off the pot
