My girlfriend just called my to say she heard Jean C. on INSessions, say that there are many empty courtrooms at the courthouse in Pinellas. She feels any one of those could be used to continue on.   Wonder if that is true, or is JP giving out a hint of a threat that they would have to go back to Orlando to seat the jury in hopes of carrying on?

Maybe Pinellas county is tired of the hubbub.  It is their court house and this circus has to be quite annoying.  I don't believe they have to allow JBP to continue on here.

I liked this juror from the beginning. Yeah, he was kinda strange in ans. to state, but I liked the fact that his parent had remained married for so long and he was obviously proud of that.
Was more than pleased to learn he is musically inclined. Guessing tho that he is quite liberal....musicians like that...now there are 2 assumptions.

I didn't believe a word he said. He would always repeat their questions back to them before answering. That usually means deception.

Registered Sex Offender - they guy gives me the creeps so it was my guess.

I might kicked out of here for saying this but so be it. I think to hear someone's voice and decide he might be a registered sex offender with absolutely nothing to indicate that and then go on the hunt is so unfair.
I don't know anything about this man but he is attending college to become an RN and while he lacked money to buy gas yesterday, it doesn't make him a bum.  In fact, IMO, he is trying to make something of himself.

I agree that voice is not enough to go on - I was not just working with the voice. He has an attitude, he did not fill out the jury questionnaire fully, he did not want to discuss the problem with a criminal accusation in public. It was more his whole demeanor that made me think it. I know several RSO and they all behave like this guy.

But you are correct that I should not jump to conclusions and for that I apologize.

I think you might be right.  There are a number of examples of Judge Perry backtracking on his orders.  I think that gives Baez the courage to continue to defy the judge because the judge will back down.

I agree, as much as I like JP he was doing this way to fast. I get the wanting to get it done because of publicity but the news is never going to stop in this case until the state gets a conviction.

Isn't this where we were at yesterday morning.  11 jurors.  IIRC state has 4 strikes remaining, defense 1, and they each get 1 strike for alternates, total of 7 remaining and only 15 pc's left to question.  Does anyone know how many were excused for cause yesterday?  This is pretty scary, only 1 day remaining and all jurors and alternates must come from the same location.  Big decisions to be made.

Also seating the woman who "Was not put on earth to judge other people," yesterday practically guaranteed a hung jury IMO and it is just as well to start over somewhere else.

It has been 2 weeks and he is borrowing another county's court house.  IMO, he is not moving fast enough.  They have outstayed their welcome, I think.
