I have been saying they would plea out if they could not get a "favorable" jury. I think they are at that point, we'll see!

Most jurisdictions generally prohibit such appeals, requiring parties to wait until the trial has concluded before they challenge any of the decisions made by the judge during that trial.

If Baez is filing any type of appeal, that would not stop jury selection.  I think she took a plea deal.

Now I'm utterly disgusted. If they're appealing, how long would it take for the appeal to be heard and ruled on? Does JP expect a ruling later today? If it's denied that'll mean squeezing in about 8 PJs a day.

I hope this isn't an appeal. Maybe one of the attorneys wants out, although I don't see why that would close court for the day.

No, an interlocutory appeal is an appeal in the middle of trial.

Didn't look like she had been crying to me, and I was watching when she came back from lunch.

TruTV just replayed it and it didn't look to me that she had been crying either....and I got right up to the TV...eeewwwwwwwww

Didn't notice Baez in court after lunch, this was captured after lunch. I still want to know who these two women are also. That is not Rosalie Bolin, IMO.

InSessions said this morning that (the one in the dark hair) is another new attorney for Casey. Dunno who the other one is.
