From TruTV: One reporter saw Baez leave the courthouse at lunch. The other defense attys did not. While it's possible that Baez went around the building and in the back to meet with Casey, they doubt it and their guess is that Baez did not see Casey during lunch. Usually when any of the defense meets with her it's just in a room where she is held during lunch which is behind JP's bench.

CBB   I am listening to TTV too and they have no idea...no more than we do....but like us some think a plea was offered, other think a motion was filed.

In Sessions keeps replaying the video. JP really is pizzed, IMO. I'm thinking a plea wouldn't have that effect on JP, but an appeal would.

He's pissed because it affects his rulings & with the knowledge that time is of the essence, IMHO.

AF has been in court and sick all week. I doubt Baez could pull "I got a tunnyache" let's call court for the day...JMO

Hmmm, why would he get to go home to cause a half day's recess when Finnell sat there for days infecting everyone & literally holding herself up against a wall.   If that is the case, unless he went to the ER with more than a bug that's BS that they couldnt continue.

Judge is sooooo pizzed! just showed it again on Insessions.

If Bozo was sick, wouldn't the judge just say so?? what would the secret be about that?
and why couldn't they continue without Bozo..
before they left for lunch, judge was going to ask for an hour I think and the defense asked for 1:00 which was a lot longer than their normal lunch since being in jury selection.
Jean C. is changing her mind about appeal..why not just say it in court if that is it...she says..

Beth Karas says a good chance of plea because of  secrecy..or a major shakeup on defense team..

Here is another thought, JP threatened them to scrap everything and start again in another county (panhandle somewhere?) earlier when Bobo was whining about wanting to go through the remaining 15 jurors and JP said they could not use the courhouse their welcome was over there.  Then JP came in and said they could use the courthouse so all was good.  What if that fell through during lunch and JP called the recess so he could make arrangements to start over again in another county?  That would make him mad as he has all those deposits in Orlando for hotels etc.

did anything dramatic happen before the lunch break? I'm just puzzled. I think A plea would be ok as long as it's LIFE. But somehow I don't see it.

It may be he is pizzed because it is just "an attempt" at a plea bargain, and nothing has been agreed upon which would do nothing but delay the court proceedings.

Just to throw out another theory from InSessions....... maybe Casey has expressed an interest in pursuing a plea and JP gave them until tomorrow morning to work it out?

I am thinking back over this - if it was an appeal the judge would not have said we will be back at 8:30 in the morning because he would not know how long it would take for an appeal to be ruled on.

Wonder if something happened to one of the Anthonys?

I'm thinking it has to be something else to. I mean this has all been out in the open why hide an appeal. People will find out anyway.

The secrecy of this is the key. An appeal is not secret - sickness is not secret  the prosecution is not talking - it has to be an attempt at a plea bargain.
