If JP said he was going to swear jury in when they got to 12 and they only have 11 then what is there to appeal? Wouldn't they have to have the 12, he swear them in and then the appeal?

This thing is crazy but even if it is a plea deal I think JP would be frustrated because this whole frustrating process could have been avoided and that done the first day. Time, money, frustration, etc.

Could be.  She's been wearing pastels this whole time, then all of a sudden in the midst of that, wear black?  Hmmm..

Cant stand that woman who was discussing that.  Casey's mood did not match her black top when she walked in this morning.   She was animated & involved, not depressed, withdrawn or upset.

Very true Capp!  Am wondering if the wearing black was more of a statement to say that she's running the show again.  Seems someone else has been choosing her 'pastel' clothes, and the black may be her way of saying 'i've had enough of that thanks'.  Who knows, with Casey.. 

Some people dress to match their eyes or hair.  Casey dressed to match her cold black soul today.

I agree Curly..If Baez is saying he is sick, he sure didn't look sick this morning.  Finnell has been there sick all week.  Ashton said yesterday to one pj he was sick, coming down with a cold or something..naw..on a trial this big you don't just walk out for the afternoon and shut down the jury selection because you are sick..unless things aren't going your way and you are buying time..but time for what? 

I think he set the wheels in motion on an appeal for her due process in jury selection..he has bulked from day one on this.  He's lucky they didn't pick JAC or the opposite side the Panhandle.  Both areas are populated by people with strong convictions on the DP...

Hi, Blue,

Sounds like something he would TRY to do but if he fails, he is stuck with a judge who hates him for the remainder of the trial.  He'd have to be sure of himself to go for that I guess.
