Jink on HLN says they just got notice it was the judge's decision to end for the day.  ????

uuummmm interesting.....we know it was his decision...what we don't know is the WHY??

Maybe to give the state and defense time to try to work out a plea deal???? JP motioned no with his hand to the state when he asked if there was anything else...

Maybe the judge was so angry at this latest ploy, he didn't trust himself to say it was because Jose was sick for fear of not being able to control himself!

I could relate to that!

But I hope it is a deal.  I guess we will have to wait until tomorrow.  Those of us from the Natalee thread are professional at waiting.  We will wait forever if it takes it.

Near the end of this mornings session Bozo did go over and talk to KC, Simms had to move out of the way, 1st time we actually saw him interact seriously with KC since their blow-up.

Jose Baez should have never ever go on with this case. His lack of experience is showing! in his poor lawyering and his behaviour.
He has made a mess of things over and over.

you know Anna, what you just said made me feel a bit more settled...thanks for that..
just because justice will not happen as soon as we might have wished, it will happen and justice for Caylee will happen just as it will for Natalie..and we too, will wait forever if that is what it takes for both of these girls...xxxxx that is what we do for the missing and the murdered innocents..we wait... till they are found, then we wait for the trial etc..we ARE professionals at waiting...

JB and Judge Perry went head to head this morning and things were not the same after that. Judge Perry gave him a lecture about getting a move on,then went on to tell him they only had this court until tomorrow night, so he could work whatever schedule he wanted, but they had to be done or work in the parking lot.  They took a short break after that, then Judge Perry came back and said a phone call to the Chief Judge for that district had assured them of the courtroom.
Soon after that they broke for a long lunch-  Baez wanted to do something, not illness,but some shenanigans to try and over rule Judge Perry or even get him removed.  He is a snake, he is up to something .  No plea. No Illness.   Just JB and his dirty tricks as usual.

I thought that what ever she was reading was supposed to mean that the recess was judge "driven" but I have to admit that I am too ignorant about these things to understand the possible nuances.

http://blog.richardhornsby.com/2011/05/could-judge-perry-be-wrong-defense-right/  ::snipping2::

Could Judge Perry be wrong, Defense right?
May 18th, 2011 by Richard Hornsby.
Have no idea what happened, but suspect it was due to jury selection procedure. So could for once Judge Perry be wrong and the defense right?

Ironically named, Perry v. State, 675 So. 2d 976 (Fla. 4th DCA 1996), might hold the answer.

We find that the court did abuse its discretion in this case when it terminated voir dire before defense counsel had an opportunity to question all of the jurors individually. A number of factors have led us to this conclusion.
 ::snipping2::
Hornsby, no doubt, has been advising the defense AGAIN if this is what has happened IMO
