So does nobody know how they choose the alternates?

Can any of the ones they choose be jurors and alternates or does it go by order they are seen?

I believe the alternates are chosen just as the regular jurors are - and I think now they are working on the alternates - they however cannot know whether they are alternates or not.

Thank  you,

So the lawyers can't say which ones they want to be alternates and which ones they want to be jurors?

She might be in there somewhere but that lady in the pic is not her. Maybe she's sitting further down in that same row .
ITA, maybe the yellow jacket. NG may want to  sit out of the view of the camera, too.

She may be nutso sometimes (and a little mean) but I think she wants people to pay attention to the case out of respect for Caylee, I mean Justice for Caylee is NG's main goal here, too, right?

Assuming there are other court cases going on, there may be jurors not called to that case that are being asked to wait and not go home as they may be called for another (this case).  I believe His Honor is working diligently to get this panel seated.  Once he states he will swear in the twelve, before they are sworn in, challenges can happen.  This is my understanding and once again I could be mistaken.

Yes JP said they did have other PJ that are waiting in the jury room for other cases. That they could potentially question if needed. I think he said he needed to know by 12.

He guesses he could consider the DP.   Don't know what will happen with this guy, could go either way.  He was sounding so good too.

I think maybe JP will lay off swearing them right away since they have room to breathe.

perhaps..

JP will getter done! ::justice2NJ::

i agree. the trial is going to start on monday and i think he is doing the right thing by allowing them to question all the jurors there. you have to protect the record for appeal issues and this is exactly what the judge is doing.  he was so happy when they got the 12th juror

Perhaps with all the nosense yesterday w/DT wanting to hear all the rest of the PJ's before choosing the final jury, it was agreed that they would go thru the rest of them before seating a jury, thats all Bozo was whinning about yesterday....JP isn't near as hyped up, if he got a slap down yesterday because the DT was right or he and the state settled for this change to keep the ball rolling without anymore conflict.

@ktmfactoryrider Yes- Nancy Grace WAS in the courtroom earlier, but she has now been spotted leaving the courthouse #caseyanthony [via Twitter]

Baez had to first have a sidebar...just wondering if he can request and make happen for a visitor to leave the court room; i.e., NG?  Anyone know?
I did see Baez talking to one of the court bailiffs on TruTV this morning.

Me too. I was watching NG last night and Mark Klaas I think it was said she would have no problems in jail. Her sexuality as far as being with woman was open.
