I keep pinching myself to see if I am dreaming.  Keep remembering how we couldn't believe when 1 year went by, then 2 and now almost 3 years wait for this day.  It seemed like this day would never ever get here.  It was all in God's time...but us being mere humans were very impatient.  I liked Judge Strickland, but I don't think we would be here if he was still the judge.  So maybe God did answer one of our prayers and sent the Honorable Chief Judge Belvin Perry....who certainly knows his craft VERY WELL...and who isn't afraid to make the tough decisions! (like in one of the articles I read where he said that the defendant surely didn't show any mercy to their victim..paraphrasing, but that is what I got out of it)

Thinking KC must have fooled herself into thinking that the rounds and rounds in court and delays would last forever also.  And as long as more lawyers came and went when their 15 minutes of fame were over, she really got into the celebrity mode.  LKB has been making the 'media round' milking hers for all of it's worth... sporting a new facelift and lots of lipo under the chin (bet her butt looks the same..the machine to suck all that out hasn't been invented yet)

I have installed a seat belt on my computer chair awaiting Baez's opening statement that is surely going to 'blow' me away when I hear it.  (Sarcasm alive & well)  

So glad to have each and every one of you to share this moment & the next couple of months together.  We have certainly all prayed, cried, been outraged, laughed and run the gamut of emotions at various times together.  WE THE PEOPLE & Caylee deserve this Day & Trial for Justice!  We have earned it and precious Caylee certainly did.

Sorry for the rambling....only slept a couple of hours...didn't even bother trying to sleep longer...went ahead & made the coffee.

May 24th should forever be known as Monkey's Day.  And the day the verdict comes down should be named Caylee's Day.  IMO

ORLANDO - After nearly three years of investigations, allegations, legal wrangling and eleven days of jury selection, Casey Anthony goes on trial in Orlando this morning where a 12 member panel will decide her fate.

Casey is accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter Caylee in the summer of 2008. The toddlers skeletal remains were found in a wooded area near her family's home in December of that year.

Dozens of people arrived at the Orange County Courthouse before 6 a.m. today hoping to score tickets to the first day of the Casey Anthony trial.

About 42 people had arrived by 5:31 a.m.

Only those with these passes, which are given on a first-come, first-serve basis; credentialed media and legal teams, can access the 23rd floor for the duration of the trial, which is expected to unfold during the next six to eight weeks.
