I have lost a lot of sleep over the past several days thinking about this case.  I have a granddaughter that is very close to Caylee's age and love her more than life itself.

The defense can spew all their lies out there that they want.  Like it being an accident and she was scared to tell GA and CA.  My answer to that is BS.  KC has always been the boss in that family and everyone knows it.  Where is the remorse?  There is none.  She goes out an parties every night supposedly looking for little Caylee.  The whole family was supposed to be watching out for the welfare of Caylee.  If this is the case then why are there so many pictures of Caylee with marks on her face and bruises?  Some can be explained but not all of them.  Caylee would never have been reported missing if not for the phone call made by Cin Cin.  It was a sincere phone call made by CA and she knew in her gut that something had happened to Caylee.  The the cover up began with all of them.  I hope the whole family and anyone else that may have helped with the cover up of this murder gets what is coming for them.

KC has never said in any interviews with LE that there was an accident.
Before Caylee was found, it was Zanny the Nanny, and she has never utterered another peep about it.
So, now that the baby was found and there was the duct tape and the chloroform, how can they talk their way out of that.
If she had told this story of an " accident " before, it would never have gone this far.
LE had no choice but to investigate and the State had no choice but to lay the charges and lay them high based upon what the investigation revealed. She is not being persecuted.
They decided to brazen it out and hope that Caylee was never found.
I don't know if she will get the DP, but she isn't walking away with just a few years like she might have two years ago or right after Caylee was found.
She is a victim of a bad lawyer and bad legal advice.

http://seamusoriley.blogspot.com/2010/07/was-casey-anthony-molested.html Statement Analysis Blog
What bothered me most from reading this article title "Was Casey Anthony Molested?" is the following statement.
Cindy knows that Caylee's killer faces death, yet she is willing to lie to have Jesse Grund, for instance, put to death as an innocent. For all Cindy has been doing claiming Casey is innocent that we should let her daughter live..she is willing to put to death any other person who clearly didn't have anything to do with Caylee to death..just as the statement above says.

How do I find if there is an evidence thread for this case?  I usually only read the forum and not other threads.

One question & its obvious answer puts an accident to rest...if it was an accident why didnt Casey's family beg her to tell the truth and take a plea?   Simple answer:   It wasnt an accident.

Turbo,

I was just thinking about what LE said about George.  He knows a lot about a lot of things.  If they had secret phones, what purpose could that have been for?    Why would they need secret phones do you have any ideas?  where did you see that?  Did they each have a phone that Cindy was unaware of?

If I understood it correctly they both had a phone that Cindy didn't know anything about. I don't know if I read that in the LE reports or if something was said about in one of the interviews, but I do remember it. I figured they were those disposable phones. There were a lot of connections to people in Orlando where were part of a less than honorable scene. Remember the Peter guy who put up the big reward money at first? If I remember right he was arrested by the feds in Miami. I always suspected they were into something together which was either illegal or not something they wanted known. (I suspected that computer porno which makes a lot of money)

Does anyone have a picture of the key and keychain found at the remains site?
tia

I have always wondered if that was the "same" key that Lee said he "got" the night Cindy found KC. He told I think Amy or someone don't worry I have the key and threw it away. They also found some credit cards that had been stolen from a man who they interviewed extensively which I wondered if KC stole. I think it was a Sears credit card.
yes there was alot of talk about keys, keys to the house etc , where the keys where kept to the house who had keys to the car. Could the key have been one of caylees keys to say play with for her play house? Ive seen parents give  children an old cell phone or keys to use in play.

There was a house down the street a ways which had been foreclosed on previously owned by a Gonzalez family. (yep, same name as the nanny)  I always suspected that is where KC and Caylee hung out during the day until George left. A blogger went there and took pictures which showed some kids toys which looked about right for Caylee's age which looked almost new. They did not seem to match the other things around that house. I have those pictures on my other computer but it crashed, so if anyone else has them maybe they could post them. Interestingly enough it was the SAME place that Cindy's PI went poking around looking for the body. I noticed that immediately because of the Pepsi machine. It gave me an eerie feeling just watching him there.

I remember that house too and that it was thought KC and Caylee stayed there at times.  I also remember the Pepsi machine there too.

I alway wondered why Dc was there poking around at that house but the gonazles connection could have been why, same with with him looking around where the remains were found. I still think keith williams may have found something of caylees that tipped the A's off early august that caylee was nearby, but they had to wait for awhile till things calmed down to send some one out there to look again.

Experts: Expect "bombshell" in Casey Anthony trial Tuesday

 ::snipping2::

Jay Hebert and Jeff Brown say Tuesday is the day you don't want to miss.

"I think opening statements is the big bomb that we're all waiting for," Brown said.

That's when we're expected to learn for the first time the defense for Anthony, who is accused of killing her two year old daughter.

Who will she blame?  Or will she claim it was an accident?

"I think the first few hours are going to be overwhelming," Hebert said.

Both say the circus we've already seen in jury selection, including an outburst in the courtroom on Friday, is nothing compared to what's still to come.

"I have no doubt there will be medical attention required in the courtroom.  People will get nervous, people will have anxiety," Hebert said

I hope someone will post the links to watch the opening statements!!  I will be in transit taking my granddaughter to preschool and won't be able to watch until 8:30 CST.   I'm hoping Ashton will really lay it all out there and have a BIG picture of little Caylee!!!
mr. baden in a non direct way ! said it would be presented as an accidnet. I dont think it will work. Theres the 31 days... no remorse  and alot more.

Remember during Jury Selection Cheney Mason would ask potential jurors if they read and if so what books, then he would ask if they have read any John Grisham's books specially if they read the book "The Confession".  Well in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CnCnmYh-9BM&NR=1 at the 14:33 mark to the end of the clip he states He has read that book and that it's about someone who was wrongfully convicted.  So my point being that's why he was asking the PJ if they read the book it's cause he has read it himself.

A little off topic but a few pages back someone posted the letter that George sent to Casey where he talks about her gaining weight.   That is so off to me in light of the fact that the family claims nobody noticed Casey was pregnant for months.  Just wow.  It tells me her looks were/ are pretty important to George and I bet the family was all over Casey as soon as she started showing.

But they all swore no one noticed. SURE ...............

Thanks for the pic TURBO.  I just realized something...for parents who "didn't know their daughter was pregnant", someone was buying her maternity clothes.  That dress is not standard Casey Anthony issue: skin-tight; slinky; low cut; or ribbed.  Neither is it short, "sexy", or flirty. Moreover, that white wrap sweater is definitely too big to be Casey's normal wardrobe.  It's just a tad tight across her abdomen, which means pre-pregnancy, it would have literally hung in folds on her small frame.  As appearance conscious as the Anthonys are (jail letters, Casey's constant public grooming), there's no way they didn't notice her putting on weight and her face filling out.  Someone was buying this girl clothes because her tight tees/shorts/jeans/skirts/dresses/bikinis were definitely not fitting and she had no job, no money.

Just a thought, but what if Casey was escorting (prostituting), hence the self-proclaimed title "event planner"? What if that's how she became pregnant?  Definitely, can't pinpoint a father in that case (too many customers, blow the business). I'm not saying that's what happened, but it wouldn't surprise me.  I'd like to see her school file throughout her life, particularly her Junior and Senior years (as well as any compositions she wrote for English). Just MOO

Sorry, everyone!  I forgot my manners.  Hello!  THANK YOU everyone for all the posts, pics, commentary, and videos that have kept me up to speed.  I am thankful for this forum, so I don't drive my family and friends nuts discussing this case with them.  LOL!  I do try to keep in check some, for their sakes.  Like some of you, I know a special 2-yr old who looks a lot like Caylee.  Maggie is precocious, social, adorable, a tad stubborn at times, and adventurous-rolled into one.  I cannot imagine not taking Caylee to a library storytime, not inviting other children over for her to play with, not taking her for playdates, not bothering to develop friendships with other moms of toddlers, not even playing with other children on the block or within a few blocks, and no children invited to her parties.  Caylee deserved so much more than what Casey, Cindy, or George gave her.  The fact that they cannot understand or refuse to understand our/the public's outrage at Caylee's death is very telling indeed. Mothers of the Year everywhere are offended by Cindy's assertion...and rightfully so. Real mothers everywhere are offended by the comparison.

Cindy & George's mistake was in doing what they've always done... bark and growl, telling people to mind their own business.  Caylee is our business and has been since the second 911 call, when Cindy mentioned she hadn't seen Caylee for awhile.  She uncorked the bottle at that point and they've ben frantically trying to stuff the genie and their family secrets back inside ever since.  Casey's going to make sure those secrets are public knowledge because in her mind, she's been wronged.  In her mind, Cindy started this, but Casey plans to finish it. She's past simple revenge and is headed for retribution.  Cindy, of all people, should know that Casey is bent on destroying them.  After all, Cindy: called 911, made the dead body comment; failed to bond Casey out quickly twice; and failed to get Casey off.  George has a pretty good idea of what she's capable of; hence the grovelling on his part ("You are the boss..."); the vomiting; and the solicitous letters.  What has been interesting was seeing George play mediator between Cindy & Casey in the jail visit videos.  He repeatedly inserted himself to pacify Casey and defuse her anger.  Cindy, on the other hand, didn't care about provoking Casey.  If I were Cindy & George, I'd make a pre-emptive strike and out the family secrets before Casey does.  Disarm your enemy, control the spin, and win.  They're foolish if they think Casey's going to listen to their advice.  Why should she?  They're useless to her, since they can't get her off.  The only thing they're good for is blaming them for Caylee's death/mitigating circumstances.  Somebody (LEE) needs to sit them down and have a good, hard talk with them.  They're running out of time to disarm their homemade time bomb TIMER55.  All my own opinion.

Sorry to post and run.  Have a good night/morning everybody!  If you divided the U.S. into 2 sides, Caylee's and Casey's, Caylee's would win hands down.  Those proestors on the Anhtony lawn were just a drop in the ocean.  Just U.S. For Caylee!!!!

Hello everyone.

I have been here since Day 1 with all of you.  It seemed like it would never get here, but here we are.

I work nights and I love having an excuse to sleep in, but everyday for two weeks I would get up and say to myself, "I'll just take a peek and found myself on the edge of of my seat for hours before pulling myself away to go to work."

Gotta love that Judge Perry.

Justice for Caylee is coming.

Thank you Klaas and Red and all of the mods, you do a great job and I love it here even though I do not say much, thank you for the site.

Sorry Caylee, the jury took your day away.

Seventeen years ago, another huge case caused the judge to import a jury from another county. That time, Orlando provided the jurors for the Pinellas trial.

http://www2.tbo.com/news/news/2011/may/23/MENEWSO1-seventeen-years-ago-another-huge-case-cau-ar-209384/

OMG, what a disgusting piece of cow dung.  I had heard this guy's name, but never his crime.  Murder is horrible whoever or however it is done, but there is something just so despicable about tying somebody up and throwing them in the water with bricks around their necks.  It would take them a few minutes to die and the absolute fear, horror, I swear, I would die of a heart attack before drowning.

Anywho, I noticed htis in that article, and wonder why it took so quick for 325 PJs, in that case, as opposed to 11 days for 200 whatever PJs in this case.  I wonder if JBP is a bit anal?  2 days for 325 PJs, is amazing, and kind of what I expected in this case.  It also was expected to last 4 weeks, but was done in 10 days.  This is what we need in this case, swiftness.  They had even less evidence in Oba's case, no smell on boat, no evidence of decomp, etc.  They need to get er dun.

 ::snipping2::

Schaeffer swore in her jury in less than two days after going through 324 prospective jurors. It took Judge Belvin Perry Jr. 11 days, nearly 250 potential jurors and myriad headaches to find his jury in the Anthony case.

The tents are set up and news trucks are in place. Lines have been drawn to give protestors a place to express their views and their anger.

People have been watching every move the Anthonys have made since little Caylee was reported missing in 2008. But whatever unfolds in front of the courthouse Perry said he will ensure the jury won't see any of it.

Legal Analyst Previews Casey Trial Opening Statements

"Her actions and her activities during that 31 days are very damning to her case. They need to explain that out of the gate. You can't wait for the jurors to form some opinion," said Sheaffer.

That also means the defense has to start raising reasonable doubt. That could come by accusing Casey's father, George, of bad parenting or abusing Casey to gain sympathy.

"If all our instincts are correct and they're going to throw George under the bus, it's going to happen in opening and it's going to happen quick," said Sheaffer.
