I think George handled that first session fairly well.

The weakest area would have been the duct tape on the gas can. GA at one time denied putting it on. Cindy said he put it on. Every time Baez brought up duct tape with the gas can, Ashton objected and was sustained. GA was saved. For now at least.

Well, this would have been more riveting if Casey had a real lawyer.

LOL..I so agree..He really lost me during his opening statement..although he thought it was a bombshell..it was what we all expected..but it was too much and then too random and then too rambling.....is he all the defense has....when does Foghorn Leghorn speak err.mumble?

I admit to being a little concerned that George might fall on the sword for Casey... feel so much better now...
I feel like little Caylee was guiding her JoJo and he didn't let her down ...IMO

GA asked Cindy for the water and then she gave it to him - she didn't offer it up.  No eye contact, no shoulder rub, no nuttin'.  He's so whipped, it's pathetic.  It's hard not to feel sorry for him.  Clearly he knew KC was pg, but didn't wanna rock the boat. Clearly he knew KC wasn't working at SA, and Cindy gave him hell for following her and invading her privacy.  Cindy is wacko.  KC got it honestly, me finks.

Perfect summation.  George was never allowed to have a voice nor was Cayce ever to be held accountable for anything.

Justice is coming, Caylee.

It's amusing the way Casey acts when the court recesses.  She's overly self-conscious because there's nothing to distract people's attention (like attorneys presenting arguments or sparring).  She always looks awkward, smirks (barely containing herself), and her hand and arm movements are sweeping (rather than self-assured and confident).  She tends to try to "direct" her attorneys or be overly "helpul" to them cleaning-up/packing-up/etc.  Part of that may be her reluctance to go back into cuffs and back to her cell too.  Just saying.

Got to run catch up on my other life.  LOL!  Looking forward to your take on today's events.  Catch you all later!

P.S. At one point I counted 6 objections by Ashton in about 3 minutes (all of which were sustained).  Baez is in waaaayyyyy over his head. MOO.

The moment Bozo or one of the defense makes those same allegations against George, Lee, Kronk foolishly outside the courtroom they can kiss their financial gain goodbye.   I hope Bozo is stupid enough to do so.

NeJame:  this was a pitiful cross-examination and the defense will have a very difficult time overcoming this.

In my view, Casey began setting her parents up in that very first police video of their early visit, when she said something to the effect: "Don't worry, I didn't tell them anything."  Casey is very calculating.

When G sat down, C handed him a water bottle.
I saw that, but I also saw no eye contact, no rubbing his shoulder telling him " good job", I dunno, but I don't think Cindy is on the same page as GA....I think it's going to be a long ride home for GA...

I think they are trying to be on their best behavior for court..they know they are not supposed to touch each other etc..

Cindy has turned a corner too..Mark my words she is not putting up with hearing this crap about George, Lee, herself and the whole family.  They did everything they possibly could for that b!tch..and this how they repay them..murder their Grandchild Caylee and then sprew this chit to blame it on them ..ain't no way Cindy is going under that bus now..no way ..no how.

Yea, but he came up swinging.  There are going to possibly be many contradicts & examples of the Anthonys acting as we've seen but it will be powerful beyond words that they defended Casey so vehemently & then came to the realization that she not only didnt care about Caylee but them either...no one is spared in Casey's path.   Bozo got a taste of that, she'll throw him under the bus when she appeals.

I wish George had been a bit more stand up a few years ago. I have to wonder if he did this for Caylee or to defend himself from being portrayed as a molester. I never thought he did anything to KC.. but he wasn't forthright for Caylee all this time either
