How can Mark Eiglarsh on HLN say Jose wasn't over the top? He sounded so corny and melodramatic when he was quoting what George supposedly said to Casey after finding Caylee in the pool. It was almost laughable. Rewatch and see if you don't agree.

I completely agree.  They are either so far removed from the day to day of it or they are just saying it b/c it will encourage him and then they'll have more to talk about.  I do not think the jurors they have selected will be impressed.  I don't think they'll fall for the throwing everything out there and hope something sticks defense.  I am actually encouraged by it.  I think Baez will have a terrible time on cross with the actual evidence.

omg i know right? if i hear that little snippet one more time i will cry. I was embarrassed for him at that moment, he sounded so ridiculous. The theatrics that went with it were the topper for me. Im sure after finding a lifeless baby in the pool his 1st thought would be how cindy would react, not omg call 911, something more along the lines of panic mode. I just cant figure out how they will explain why George thought cover up of an accidental drowning has anything to to with their "dirty little secret".

I had the same thought. I think they are saying that after GEO told KC she was in Cindy hell, that KC forced him to cover it up or she would tell of their dirty secret.

Other than the day Caylee was confirmed dead, I think that this was probably the saddest day of George Anthonys life.. Bozo is a not only a poor excuse for an attorney, but a poor excuse of a human being

My mother was born was born in 1907 in Indiana. The farm is still an active farm in her family name. Her parents made sure her brother had his way helped through law school. Mom wanted to go and worked her way through law school. She told me many times she was embarrassed in school for not having "good" clothes. Well she graduated from law school and then went to Teacher's college and made her 40+ years as a teacher in the 4/5th grades. I asked her once why she didn't want to be an attorney after working so hard for it. Her answer was that she couldn't represent someone whom she knew was guilty.

Today missed her very much. She'd be on Caylee's side just like the Monkey Family here and be with me watching the trial. She would call the defense today a spaghetti defense; whatever SXXt hits and sticks to the wall.

My name here is after her nickname and dedicated to her for these 6 years.. God Bless you all.

I agree...If he wanted to go with the accidental death and panic story, I could deal with that....not saying I would believe it, but could deal with it.
I was watching Nancy Grace and my 19 year old was shaking his head about how dirty of a thing it was to do to poor George...so hopefully the jury will feel much the same...

Casey has lied every inch of the way at every opportunity ... yet Baez wants everyone to believe that it was everyone else.

Can Jayne Weintraub be sued by the A's because she just said that George sexually molested Casey. No ifs, ands, or buts, --she came right out and said that he was guilty of that offense. She is not protected by "privilege" so can Lippman go after her now? Does anyone know?

I hope so. No one knows for sure what went on in that house.
There were four liars living in that house.
Cindy and George are liars who raised a child who was a liar.
I don't believe that George found Caylee in the pool and went into cover up mode with Casey, but sometimes a trial has nothing to do with the truth. Justice doesn't always happen, either in the USA or here in Canada.
It's all up the the jury : Are they logical thinking persons ?
All they need is one or two who can be swayed on an emotional level by the statements made by Baez today. Because he came out so strong and said it in words, that jury is going to filter everything thru that lens.
And why is George a hero today, last week he was a no balls bum ? George should have sobbed on the stand today.
I was at work, but got the transcript typed and sent to me as it was going on.
A low life defense by a low life lawyer.
And everyone will make a pile of money from this, including the Ants. They will once again be popular and sell more pictures. I am disgusted and am going to just get a daily ten minute update until this charade of a trial is over. I am really going to try to not spend hours on this, it's too heartbreaking for the little girl who lit up a room with those eyes and that smile and her personailty that shone thru. RIP Caylee, you deserved a better family.

To me this is two-fold BS. I don't believe George did not know Casey being preggers and he is lying about this and.... the working and Zanny! He contradicts himself on several points. The Jose duhfence RE: George being involved in Caylee's demise is also BS. They just want to confuse the juror's to the point of insanity!

IMHO, Just because KC lived with the Anthonys, doesn't mean they need to be all up in her business.  It's not like she's a minor.  They wanted KC at home because they loved Caylee (and probably KC too), if they were to badger the heck out of her, maybe she would take their granddaughter away, like KC eventually did.  IMHO, the Anthony's tried to keep things copacetic because they knew KC would just take off if openly accused of not working.  And look what happened, eventually KC did take off and kill their granddaugther.  The Anthonys were damned to lose Caylee no matter WHAT they did, bug Casey or not!

I agree. I was actually surprised GA asked who the father was at all. During the initial jail visits Casey chose to talk to GA for a reason and I think that reason was because she knew he wouldn't ask anything that would set her off or if he did she could make him back up and apologize. She has a her way or the highway attitude and can clearly hold a grudge indefinitely, CA seems to want answers, GA seems to want peace.
I don't find it hard to believe GA didn't quiz Casey on the baby's father, he's the same dad who's mission to see in the trunk of a car, driven by his daughter but registered in his name, ended abruptly when Casey became furious, insisted her and her alone get in the trunk. She did and proceeded to shove the gas cans at GA with a "here's your %^&!! cans". Had I ever done that to my dad, not only would he have immedietely went through the trunk of "his" car, but I'm pretty sure that also would have ended my parent provided wheels permanently. If I remember right GA not only dropped the idea of seeing in the trunk, but also apologized for upsetting her, as that was not his intent.  (I think GA's initial tread lightly plan was even more thought out so he didn't upset or offend CA and included using the excuse he needed to get a jack or wheel blocks out of the trunk, but was really wanting to check for the gas cans and she saw through it and blew up)
