Linda sounds very strong, loud, authoritative. Not like before the break where she sounded softer.  I like this.

Watching and listening to Linda lay out the case in opening is a thing of beauty.  This woman rocks!

Linda is strong and lays it out beautifully, Casey sits there staring out into space. She's done for now shaking her head.

Notice the immediate different demeanor Casey is displaying now outside the presence of the jury

I have to say, this girl is visually disassociative.

She reminds me of Sally Field in Sybil.  I saw that movie when I was a kid and I slept under my parents bed for a month.

Isn't that one of the mitigating factors Ann Finnell mentioned during jury selection? (Multiple personality disorder?)

Everyone dissociates to a certain degree, depending on what is going on in their life.  George is in the back doing the very same thing, he zoned out.  Just because Casey dissociates does not prove that she has MPD.  It is one symptom of that, yes.  But not the definitive factor.

Casey is a narcissistic sociopath with a broad spectrum of traits found with personality disorders.   None of which prevent her from knowing the difference between right and wrong nor recognizing the heinous crime she committed, the fact that she has shown no remorse and continues to lie makes it all the more horrendous.

MPD is my specialty.  If the defense even TRIES to use that as a defense for Casey, I will go thru my monitor after em!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Counting on you!

Just biding my time.  lol

I love hearing all these minute details with the Officers names.

Wish we could see Cindy's face, all we see is shroom hair.

Bozo stands there smiling, waiting for the jury. He looked like a groom at the altar. They are all inappropriate

I think this will be one of the underlying issues in this case. The State is presenting a case that is far from a laughing matter. One that a normal person cannot even fathom that a mom would just not do anything and continually lie when their child was missing. Forget the evidence at this point.

Then there is Baez's foolish and stupid looks that cause for pause. If he makes a joke, he is finished. As it is the jury may not even deliberate. They might just stay in the jury box and say guilty.

The State has done a nice job of boxing defense into a corner and will make any thing they say, look more ignorant than it already is.

Agreed!  I'll even go so far as to suggest that Casey is a malignant narcissistic sociopath.

The exact caption should read: So that's what a real attorney looks and sounds like. Judge, can we have a break, I need to rewrite my opening statement.
