I think this will be one of the underlying issues in this case. The State is presenting a case that is far from a laughing matter. One that a normal person cannot even fathom that a mom would just not do anything and continually lie when their child was missing. Forget the evidence at this point.

Then there is Baez's foolish and stupid looks that cause for pause. If he makes a joke, he is finished. As it is the jury may not even deliberate. They might just stay in the jury box and say guilty.

The State has done a nice job of boxing defense into a corner and will make any thing they say, look more ignorant than it already is.

I'm hoping Baez will be Baez!!!!!

ITA RED..There is no where for the defense to go after this awesome opening by Linda.  She has painted a vivid picture of a woman who lies to everyone, all the time.

At the break one of the stations relayed that the jurors had paper and pen..but none were taking notes..all eyes were on Linda and listening intently.  The jury is in her palm.

I agree.

Is it too late to request a plea deal?  To avoid a trial ... is it too late to plead guilty to a lesser charge and take the death penalty off the table?

She is distinct, direct, organized & relies on the facts to speak for themselves.  She is level-headed, professional & classy.  It is as if Caylee had a hand in choosing the fine individuals that are seeking justice in her name, none of her family being one of them.
