Been going over some things- I wonder why George's gambling issues and moving out weren't used by the defense, like someone had it in for George for gambling debt....
Because of work and end of year activities, I haven't been watching every minute so I don't know if this is the case but just a theory.  If the State has not introduced that information, Baez can't bring it up until he calls George as his witness.  I think the term is "scope of testimony."

Hello Fellow Monkeys,

I attended the trial on Day two and have just blogged my pictures and story.  You can have a look here:  http://cathiefilian.blogspot.com/2011/05/attending-casey-anthony-trial.html

I write a craft and cooking blog so it was a bit of a departure for my readers.  I added a little back-story so I did not throw them off.

I hope you enjoy the pictures.  It was a really long and sobering day.  I cracked a bottle wine and ordered room service to my hotel after it was over.

Have a great holiday weekend,
Cathie Filian (craftycathie)

Cathy,

Thanks for taking us along with you on your trial adventure.  I, for one would love to be there in person as well.

Good morning all.  One more day of work and I am out for summer.  Maybe I can catch up with the portions of the trial have missed.  I hope someone puts together a Greatest Blooper video.

I didn't here the final decision on this question:  Is the jury working Monday?

No Court on Monday.  LDB felt it would be hard to notify witnesses as they probably had holiday plans.  She said she plans on calling a lot of LE next week.

I guess Monday is group house cleaning day!

KC told several people that her parents were going to be moving.  It seems George has realized that they may have been moving to a wooded lot around the corner on Suburban.

But no fatalities MK! (just one close call in dairy!)

I was considering going to the gym while watching the CNN stream on my iphone -- but there are too many sidebars for me to get through it! I think I'm just too anxious. Hubby & I were joking last night that we were surprised the jury hasn't been like "OK, just wanted to let you know, we find the b!tch guilty! Can we go home?" Wink

In case anyone missed it...... INSessions will air todays court activity starting at 1:00 EST - 4:00

I heard that, but wondered why?
They can't get up early on a Sat?
I hate waking up early, but we're all here.

InSessions runs infomercials all morning on Saturdays..guess they couldn't reverse that to run infomercials in the afternoon and court live in the morning.
Personally, they are more commercial then trial during the week, add in sidebars, breaks and recess and their color commentary and there is very little tria. But I watch there anyway.
