When Nate looks to his right is he looking at KC or at the jury?

The Jury's direction.
I feel bad for this guy.He seems so nervous.

Good grief! It's Charlie Brown.

so here is my problem -- if some of us seasoned monkeys are buying the drowning -- what hope is there for the jury to convict on 1st degree murder?

I can't believe Baez would just say it is so and some of us will take his word for it. Am I getting the wrong impression this morning? Why are we entertaining the drowning at home or at Tony's?

In regard to the theory that George is going to take the rap and that the state and the duffense coached him, I don't get that.

I would think, for him to take the rap, he would have to admit to molestation and helping to hide Caylee's body.  I don't see that at all.

And why would the state coach George on how to effectively take the rap?  It does not make sense.

He didn't do this.  She did this.  Nobody but the skenky hoebag.  IMO.

But, it is a truly different opinion and as valuable as mine, IMO.  I just hope none of the jurors think that way.
I did not say George is going to take the rap. George knew what the accusations were going to be.  He agreed to sit still and get through that knowing that under oath he would be able to tell the truth. The DT only needed to get to ONE juror with their bull crap.
Nope, I don't buy that Geo is taking any rap for ICA.
So, you think he aggred to let Bozo say what he said about KC having his penis in her mouth, to sway 1 juror, and then he would say it was a lie under oath?  I don't know, mabye, who knows.  I am sure there have been weirder things.

Lots of respect in the court today from these witnesses.  Lots of "yes sirs" and "no sirs"  nice to hear, FWIW.

If all the defense does is ask each witness, "where you there when Caylee drowned on July 16, 2008?"  The jury will hear it hundreds of times.

Yeah that and were you there 15  years ago when she was molested.  I really think this trial will go more quickly than thought and the entire defense was to raise reasonable doubt during the OS.  The jury won't buy it.  I don't think

That is exactly what he is doing. On NC last night Lippman the A's attorney says they knew 6 weeks about the molestation and drowning. That is why they were not shocked, I guess that is how they are helping or trying to help their daughter get off. By creating all this reasonable doubt. That is why t hey had to include GA in the story rather then just say Caylee died accidentally in the pool. I just hope that the jury sees this.
Yes. The first part of Baez's OS was powerful.  He worked on that.  All the other bull crap that followed did not even matter to Baez..thus he did not present that as well.  My observation is that Casey did her best theater of all yesterday. What a twisted bunch they are. But who knows what any of us would do to save the life of our child?

In a way, Lee being worried at Tony's goes more towards her family NOT knowing what happened.

I certainly am not entertaining any such thing, and even if she did drown, to me it is still negligetn murder.  I never thought she would get death, though.

I wonder what the book on the defense table is?  It almost looks like the DSM, (the manual for diagnosing mental illness.)

I think when the tape gets brought in the 'accidental' drowning will go out the window.

sorry bout my quote stepping.  I don't buy that Geo is taking a rap for Casey.  At first the A's didn't want to belive their daughter could kill their granddaughter, but over these past three years they have seen the light, All MOO.

Nathan was also there when Lee came to the apt. (after Casey had left earlier with Cindy).

That same night, the police came once, before Lee got there. They collected her cell phone.

The police returned after Lee left. They searched the apt.

They're going over Lee coming and collecting Casey's bag from the apt.

What does anyone think Lee is going to say in all this?

Prolly gonna mouth 'I love you' to Casey.

lol

But, if he says everything is true about George, him, and such...we have a free Casey. I mean, he did seem to try to cover things up.

Ah yes, I see what you're saying.  It will definitely be interesting to see how he handles things.  Am surprised that the A's get in to watch, but no Lee sitting there with em.

Hi Wyks!
Perhaps it's because Lee is going to be a witness and cannot claim next of kin status.  Therefore not allowed in the courtroom.
