Nice new cage, just popped in to day hi and have a happy Sunday. Finding it hard to catch up to you and trying to resist the urge to say, "anything new going on"  ::MonkeyHaHa::

Ahahaha.... My sister's name is Kathy and my children as babies could not say her name,so they called her Kah Kah.. LOLOL   sorry... it is true.

I think back on these things and can never understand how a parent can kill a child. It is beyond me.. I cherish all of the memories I have of them growing up. Shame on those that call themselves  Caylees Grandparents,I see nothing out of love being done for Caylee now.. There is something seriously wrong with them.

Nothing really new - since the doc dump the other day.    LP says he might buy the land that Caylee's remains were found on - but I bet he is blowing smoke.    Hope you have a nice Sunday, too!

If LP is willing to spend 50 thousand for some PR, he really should consider the playground equip idea.....just think of how much goodwill 50 thou of playground equipment would equal....got to be waaay more than just a vacant lot! 

But I got to admit, if they could make Casey come out, during her LWOP and do all the grunt work on a memorial site.....mow, pull weeds, dig up invasive bamboo roots.....it brings a smile to one's lips!!

That piece of land is not someplace that you want to put a memorial. The only people who walk by are little kids going to the Elementary School. Oh great, let's remind little kids that their Mommy will kill them if they are inconvenient.

Its pretty obvious Cindy gets her panties in a bunch with anything or anyone that she cannot control & manipulate, even her own elderly mother.  I found it sad that Grandma Shirley was talking about a dirty old carpet, weak chairs & her place smelling while Cindy excused her daughter & husband running them financially into the ground yet their home didn't lack for anything.  What Cindy should have done at the very least was told Casey she was going to get extra work to pay her grandparents back & start contributing to the financial responsibilities of raising her daughter.  She should have required Casey to show her pay stubs every week to prove her work or she would be told she had to leave the home without Caylee AFTER she filed emergency paperwork with the court to take guardianship of Caylee at least on a temporary basis until Casey sought psychiatric care & rehabilitative behavior modification was evident consistently.  Cindy should have at least tried, no excuse for her ignoring it & digging her out of trouble all the time NONE.   This woman was a nurse (although not a medical practitioner nurse) & was educated to at least that degree, despite that she chooses to be ignorant.  Cindy had always been & continues to this day spending too much time being worried about "appearances" and trying to fool people that they lived respectable lives that lived beyond their means.  After all the attempts to manipulate & conceal it, the world now knows she's a phony piece of garbage & that entire family is disgraceful individually & collectively.

FTLOG, next we will hear Dominic Casey was really only in those woods digging & probing to see if it would be a good spot for a playground instead of a teen hangout.   Worse yet, she doesnt even seem to get it that the monster she is protecting will sacrifice her to save her own skin at trial for yet another despicable slap in the face.

Capp, at the very least she should have made Casey go to grandma's house and clean the carpet and clean the house up. Would have maybe done Casey a little good to do some hard labor after stealing from her grandparents. And maybe instead of squealing and complaining about this and that, Cindy also could go and help her mother, or arrange for something to be done to help the mother around the house. I know the mentality of WHAT WILL THE NEIGHBORS THINK? Appearances are everything, and just the thought that the neighbors might find out that one of her children was getting some mental health help would be way to much, that was not going to happen. Now Cindy I wonder what the neighbors think?

I agree, and I have not seen this mentioned yet so if it has, please accept my apologies. The problem is, if correct, and I have every reason to believe it is, the A's have trademarked Caylee's name. So in fact, the use of it for a memorial if they were inclined to allow it in the first place, would be subject to them receiving a license fee and usage rights; possibly royalties.

There is no way in this troposphere I would support that. Personally, I am committed to restoring this baby's legacy hopefully through legislative reform and also I would love to see her memoralized with a children's book section in public libraries. The memory of her reading and singing to her little book stays with me always. Not these parasitic vultures.

It is still amazing to me that the Anthonys have not visited Casey since she was re-arrested on October 14, 2008. That is over 5 months. And they all say they support and believe her. Uh.huh.

Hi Monkeys...I have some thoughts on Cindy and none of them are good.  Her actions remind me of a relative and I'll spare the details but say this...was she concerned with appearances?  Absolutely.  But, IMO, more important to her was the need to hold past deeds over KC's and George's heads.  IMO, that's what drives her.  She hasn't shown one ounce of charity or humility toward anyone who's helped in the search for Caylee, but she coddles slore?      IMO, she had a vested interest in keeping KC and George dependent on her..it meant they would never leave her, because deep down, she knows she's a miserable, toxic person that anyone would want to get away from.  She didn't give her daughter a chance to grow by teaching her about consequences for her actions...she set KC up for failure by covering up and blaming others.  And her granddaughter paid the ultimate price.    I don't hold her responsible for what KC did, but I am calling her out on what she's done to every innocent person who ended up involved in this tragedy, most importantly her granddaughter.

Hmmmmm, some things I did not know!! Maybe you could get around that by calling it "Child's Victims" memorial or some other thing.
What ever happens I do think a gathering of stuffed animals and crosses and letters is messy and dirty and germy. Waste of good money. Apparently people come there in groves with their children anyway!! Lord.

I also think Lenord is puffing BUT, if he could pick it up for 50,000. , he probably will.
One thing about the guy is he is up front about the publicity. He stated it right from the get-go that even if it's only just the publicity it will be worth it. Cheap as matter of fact.

Cindy is an RN who works as a Home Health Care Coordinator.. the ironic part is that her brother Gary is a great psych nurse who it seems stayed FAR away ..  ::MonkeyEek::

While I agree with you all that a memorial is not a good idea for that little plot of land, I can't bear to think of that area being bought by some developer who will slap up a few rows of lookalike houses and concrete driveways.

I wish the area could be left as is in it's natural state, we all know what happened there, a marker isn't needed..  ::MonkeyNoNo::

She did not raise KC to be an independent adult...she raised her to be exactly what she is.  I was an only child and my mother passed away when I was 21 and my dad when I was 25.  Good thing I was raised to be independent from a little kid or I would have been in a heap of trouble.  From my own life-lesson, I learned the importance of raising my own children to be independent of me even though it is tempting not to because it feels good for them to 'need' you.   But I loved them enough to teach them the gift of independence and taking responsibilty for their actions.  

The part in green is a great desription, and the only additional description I can think of right now is perpetual martyr.  Really a digusting POS.

I agree with your post, and most definitely appearances are vital to Cindy.

I can't blame him, I would love to know his thoughts on his sister. I recall you recognized him at the memorial, I'm sure he was there for his mother's sake, but maybe he does have a relationship with Cindy.

I believe you are totally correct. Granma forgave her when she stole the check she wrote to Publix, BUT Grandma wanted to press charges against KC for the theft out of Granddad's account, but didn't do it because of Cindy.

I wonder if the fight KC and Cindy had father's day night had anything to do that KC wasn't invited to Mt Dora? Hmmm. Grandma did fix Chili for supper and we all know KC throws a fit when others get chili and KC is left out of a good Chili supper.   ::MonkeyWink::  JMO JSM

See I always thought (and Mrs. Plesea's statement proves) that Sindy found out about the missing money long before Father's Day, so it would be difficult for that 'choking neck fight' to be then.  The fight had to be about something else.

It was April, early May when they all knew Casey stole the $354 from her grandfather's account.   There was a revisit about pressing charges when Cindy went with Caylee to her mother's after visiting her dad at the retirement home which refueled the fire...Cindy was begging Grandma Shirley not to press charges but she had to be worked up by the time she got home.

My God, 90% of this society wouldnt do it to any elderly person much less their own grandparent...

Cappy...since GGma told that bank to press charges, do you think Cindy went to the bank and begged them not to?  That part didn't seem clear from GGma's statement.

I think Cindy new before Father's Day about the money too. I think the fight Father's Day night happened because Mrs Plesea finally told Cindy that she needed to do something about getting Caylee away from KC. It finally sunk into Cindy's head and she went home guns blazing and let KC have it with both barrels. KC probably had one of her hissy fits in front of Caylee and Cindy hit the roof and out of a fit of anger grabbed KC by the throat. Truly, I can't say that I blame Cindy one bit. Not that I advocate violence, but sometimes a person like KC will egg the fight on until the only thing that you can do to get that person's attention is to grab them somehow. I'm sure the neck grabbing wasn't a choking situtation, it was probably more like Cindy grabbed KC from turning her back on Cindy. Cindy was probably wanting some truth from KC about the stealing or whatever. Cindy grabbed KC by the neck or shoulders, because she wanted to look into KC's eyes. Remember when she told KC at the jail, I can't see your eyes. I know what I am trying to say, but I am very inarticulate when it comes from my brain to the keyboard. Hope this makes sense. JMO JSM

IDK Bluesy. Someone stole my BoA debit card number while I had the card in Mexico. I didn't use the card while I was away but someone charged over 2k while I was gone. BoA gave me back my money but I had to answer questions like had anyone ever used the card before, etc. I answered truthfully. My brother used it years before to pick up prescriptions for me. Because I had let him use it (not even the same card, it had already expired) they took back all the money they credited back to my account. The only thing they didn't charge me was the overdraft fees. So maybe because she didn't press charges the first time, it came back that BoA was coming back to Mrs Plesea for the $300. I don't know, just a guess that could be why the bank didn't file charges.  ::MonkeyNoNo::

     If you are correct and they have trademarked Caylees name ( which I also believe they have or will do so) this just is disgusting and speaks to the bigger picture of moral beakdown. If it was to protect Caylee's image from garnering profit from slimeballs marketing the dolls and such, it is an honorable action. But every fiber in my being knows that apart from that ,the Anthony's have and will continue to finance their future via the murder of their grandaughter. The family is morally bankrupt and it is sickening that they seemingly can lie, cheat and steal their way into a new tax bracket but I just have to believe that a day of reckoning will happen if not here, then later by a highern power.         JMHO

KC never attempted to even hide the fact that she was the one that was cashing these checks once she stole them.  She signed her name on the checks.  Most criminals attempt to hide the fact that they are the ones stealing.  KC did this because either 1. she is really stupid 2.  She really didn't care if she got caught.  I go with number 2.
No one has ever made this monster accountable for  her actions.  She probably was never aware that consequences will come when you do something dishonest.  She is a sociopath.  A product of Cin's and Georgies laziness to parent. 

She has done the most despicable and heinous acts anyone can do.  She steals from the frail and elderly and kills a small child.  I've always struggled with the death penalty, but in this case it's a necessity.  She should never be allowed to victimize another person again.

I may be playing devils advocate here but I don't think you can trademark someones name...That makes no sense...Let's say my name was John Smith and I wanted to trademark my name John....does that mean that no one could use the name John without me paying royalties ?????

Bluesy, all I know is that Cindy mentioned in her first 911 call that she had the statements (bank).  She also lies in this call and said the car was stolen since around the 30th of June.   She talks about having Casey in the car & wanted to drive her to the station (this is such BS-she was driving around drilling Casey).   She also mentions the car stolen & the theft before mentioning a "possible child missing" (suspect) pardon my candor but isnt that the first and foremost thing you would call about?  Cindy is already trying to minimize what Casey could face as a result of her calling the police-that's very clear.  Also she keeps saying in the 911 calls that Casey was missing for a month BUT we all know that Cindy talked to Casey but not Caylee regularly in this time period so that isnt exactly the truth.  Dispatcher:   "She's not telling you where her daughter is?"   Cindy  "Correct."

Technically, its the 2nd & 3rd call if Cindy called in the car, if memory serves.   There is quite a bit of time in between calls, but not 2 hours as Cindy states here.  I've always questioned the escalation of the calls-seems they discussed the babysitter excuse, Cindy's hysteria does not sound entirely genuine here in the respect that I think she knew this well before the calls & Casey is totally indifferent & snotty - she clearly says she has nothing to talk to 911 about in the background.   Its also odd that George didnt yell WHAT! or something when he is told this -dont ya think upon hearing that for the first time that you would have an excited utterance of some sort or questions directed at Casey right then and there...just odd.

Your welcome Bluesy. I don't know if it was legal. I didn't question it, just believed what they said. It broke me, I lost my house because of it, because I didn't have money to pay my house payment. But I think God works in ways that sometimes we don't understand. As soon as I lost my house, the neighborhood went to hell, shootings, illegal chicken and dog fights, etc. I truly am glad it happened because it got me the hell out of there!

Here's an example: The phrase "Let's Roll" was trademarked by the widow of Todd Beamer. It cannot appear anywhere in a marketing capacity without a license fee to the owner. Here's the thing though, it is only applicable from the time the trademark was granted. In this case, it was national news for months before they sought this. Any claims of infringement on their part for just the name and not the associated likeness (different, think WS youtube yanks) will be hard to win, imo..  

I agree and I wish Leonard would go home already!  He's served his purpose and got the publicity that he wanted.  He's gonna get shot down by the homeowner's association anyway, so I wish he would leave it alone!

just to add here about Cindy...does anyone recall in the very beginning of all this when Cindy was a guest on Greta's show? Greta started asking questions and Cindy says something like, if you want me to collapse right here just keep asking me questions...something like that....exhaustion etc....Greta was almost speechless...I had a WTF moment because I know that if my grand daughter was missing, the last thing that I would do is worry about myself and how I felt....right then and there I could not stand that woman and I questioned her motives and selfishness from then on as well...for anyone who saw that interview, you will know exactly which show I am talking about...Capps can probably word this much better....I am going from memory only...

  Sassy............ don't really know any answers but have a question. Since you're familiar with the panic attacks, do you think KC could have NOT had one already?  Do you think with all this that, even say in some of the phone calls and stuff that she wouldn't have lost it?  Is it something that you can overide or does it just take over?

Cookie girl!  Yes, I remember that interview along with how "flucky" she got with Whoraldo & on her first LKL show, NG, Mike & Julianne on syndicated Fox (OMG that one is a doozie!), probably more.   If you look at all her early interviews it took on a "theme" & tude.  Anytime questions were directed toward her daughter's arrest & speculation she got defensive & combatative, when that didnt work she played the victim so she could avoid questions & get the sympathy from the public that she obviously was campaigning for.   Sorries, if my granddaughter was missing & I had a monster for a daughter (OMG Im so blessed so I cant even fathom it) my priority would remain focused on my precious babygirl, I would have been turning over every rock in Orlando, banging on every door  & the press would have just had to keep up with me...that's not hindsight, I can guarantee you that!  Then again I would have also called 911 from the tow yard upon that grim discovery, not begin to cover it up, blood or no blood....but hey that's just me and millions of other sound minded & responsible people.   I've said it early on & I'll repeat it, you can love a child but that doesnt mean you condone what they do or make excuses for them when they continuously act in a despicable, illegal & harmful manner.

I kindof felt bad about that one...but hubby says, that is because no one believes them or their daughter and that everyone already knows that she is probably dead...but still thought that some might go out to try to recover her body...poor little mite..

Deenie, that comment by Casey in her jail visit shows just how selfish this vile creature is, she told her parents flat out her concerns had to be about herself not her "missing" daughter.   If a mother knew her child was missing & she had nothing to hide she would be banging on the cell bars & not worrying about her consequences.   Her priority would still be with her child, PERIOD.

Mizjay, it is going to be VERY difficult for Casey to claim ANY previous mental disorder because her own mother ruined that for her.  Casey was never seen by a psychologist or psychiatrist even after obvious behavior and criminal acts became knowledge.  Cindy in her FBI statement filled out a questionnaire by request of Nick Savage to describe Casey.   Of course she painted a picture of the perfect mother who was just a darhling with no mental health issues.

My experience with panic attacks is that they appear out of nowhere - totally unexpectedly.   Mine were due to suppressed anger towards my ex-husband who mentally abused me for 15 years.   I had no idea what was causing it until I got counselling.   I don't think one can "control" when they happen, although you can learn how to counter them - or make them "go away" by breathing, diet, exercise, medicine, etc.

It wouldn't surprise me if KC was having them - especially if she is waking up in cold sweats like Tony claimed.   I'm curious if psychopaths have them, though.     I learned from counselling that two things that can cause them are suppressed anger and guilt.   She definitely has an issue with guilt - whether she wants to admit it or not!

Question when they go to trail does the defense have to use what Casey said about the nanny, I mean is that going to be the defense she didn't do it the nanny took her  since she said it do they have to stick to that I mean that's what she was claiming I can't see them saying anything different since that's what she claims.

Interesting.....I had them after my car wreck.  They are horrible!!!!  You can be perfectly allright one minute and then..........I am still in therapy for them.  But I dont hink her being a psyco would have anything to do with it.

I was trying to find out if they came on suddenly and unless you had couseling or something to counteract them, you couldn't hide the fact it was happening.

 I know she had to have driven with her precious lil baby's body for at least a week or so first before dumping the body.

No, they dont have to stick with that but they are certainly backed into a corner because of it.   The defense will try to raise reasonable doubt in any manner they can whether it be pointing fingers & trying to assasinate every person that gets on the stand and/or the forensic evidence as well as whining police misconduct or sloppy work.   In other words, her defense team is going to throw it all at the wall and hope something sticks....I wish them luck with that NOT!  Everyone better prepare to grab on to their ankles because its going to be an extremely bump & ugly ride when we finally do get to trial.

She doesn't look like she thinks she guilty she looks smug and happy like she's some movie star and she loves the attention and like she thinks she a victim I mean she sits there and she doesn't even think about her poor baby how can someone be so cold, she only thinks of her causing her to be in jail. The issue of her having them versus her seeking medical attention for herself or by others noticing and encouraging her to get medical attention for them is an issue.   She's going to trial with no mental disorder medical history documented, that's key.  Now, if you ask me if she was having anxiety attacks only after she killed Caylee, that shows consciousness of guilt.

And if her Parents think she so innocent Why are they not pushing for the Cops to look for the real killer If I thought my daughter got a raw deal I would be screaming at the top of my lungs find the person that killed my granddaughter but they don't say anything at all like this nothing they don't even mention that the public and cops need to look for a real killer??

When you watch her in court, it almost looks like she is trying NOT to have one.  The way she constantly rubs her hands, and pulls at her clothing, etc.   I fidget when I'm trying to avoid one.   They feel like you're going to die - hard to act "cool" in the middle of them.   For me, I would want to run out of the court room!    ::MonkeyHaHa::

A1 - I got rear ended 3 years ago - and now I occasionally feel them coming on, when I'm driving in heavy traffic.   I think it is due to that day.  But, I've learn how to talk myself out of having one.

PS if you want to watch a great show that is based largely on facial & body gestures, catch Lie To Me on Fox.    Yes, its just a drama show based loosely on factual information but it gives you an idea on what those experts do.   When I assisted a forensic psychiatrist for almost nine years we dealt with people that malinger (lie/fabricate) as well as symptom exaggeration the doc said I was a natural at picking up on these gestures/behaviors as well as being pretty good at "sizing up" the general personality & habits of a person relatively quick, his office ranged in cases from false claims of injuries to murder cases with everything you can imagine in between, it was a fascinating experience & I learned so much from it, my 2nd car accident put me out of work but I loved that job!

I'm sorry for you Zoeandme, more than I am for me. I got screwed on my house. First time home buyer with no Realtor. The seller's said that they would pay for the inspection, stupid me thought that was great. I said OK, It had a flat roof, inspector said it passed with flying colors. Being young and dumb at the time I bought the house. First night it rained, the AC unit was on top of the roof. The rain poured down straight through the AC unit down the walls and I also didn't know it had black mold at the time. I am so glad now I am in an apartment now. I was so depressed, but thinking about it now God gave me the will and strength to get through it. I hope you have found a job and believe me things happen for a reason. The only thing I miss about my house is my yard, then I wouldn't have to schlep 4 flights of stairs to take the dog outside.   ::MonkeyWink::

mizjay ~  I posted the articles about who Caylee's father is because it was the first articles that came up when I googled Casey Anthony news, and I was trying to steer us back to on topic.  Now that we have that, the reason I am concerned who Caylee's father is doesn't concern just curiosity but parental rights and Caylee's rights.  Perhaps Caylee's father could even file in civil court against Casey on Caylee's behalf.  For example, some sort of wrongful death suit.  Also, earlier in the case it might have been important because of motive and etc.  However, it doesn't seem to be so important any more at this point. 

  I totally agree with you, I wish it was known for their sakes but what a horrible thing to find out that you had a child/grandchild and then that she is no longer with us.
I didn't explain well, it was such a hot topic here for so long and another of those mind bending possibilities that pop up in this crazy family that It was a relief in my own head that Lee was ruled out, I didn't want to think about it if he was the father.Glad it's been determined, thanks for the nudge back to topic.

My thought on the who the daddy is has always been that Casey doesn't know...she was out whoring around all the time....and if she did know who the father is something tells me she would have went after him for child support for sure!  IMO

Muffy- I agree strongly with your instincts. If paternity can be established, it could change everything in this case; thus the wild goose chase by the A's as to the Father's ID. I think the Father's ID will end up being the true bombshell in this case.

Leonard is in Orlando and will lend his hand in a lesser known Florida case.  With the ongoing media coverage and a new age internet interest of Padilla's involvement in the Anthony case, Leonard has been encouraged to look into another Orlando area case involving a missing woman.  The case has been presented as an unsolved murder in the media.

Leonard also continues to work on the Anthony case and devotes time in his daily schedule for investigating suspicious information and events in the matter.  Leonard has developed an unfortunate lead in the case and is currently working to verify the truth of witness statements made in the media.

My opinion on LP buying the vacant lot Caylee's remains were discovered on:  publicity.  JMHO  I don't know how the lot is zoned, and depending on whether he wanted to turn it into a playground or a memorial, he would have to get some sort of variance I would think.  If LP were to buy it, I would prefer it be made into a playground if that were possible.  Doesn't it flood though? A playground would be nice... or clean it up and clear out the brush and it could be like a green belt/park.  JMHO

Hi Leroy and all monkeys.  I was in the cage earlier - but got called out expectantly - to go fight with the neighbor of my rental unit.   It seems one of her guests ran into my daughter's boyfriend's car - without leaving a note.   Bad night for me.   I hope I don't piss off anyone - but WTF happened to our society?   How come so many young adults will not take accountability for their actions???    She is 20 years old and thinks she owns the world!   Who does she sound like?

I think paternity could come into play in a big way. If the father and/or the paternal grandparents come forward there may be a possibility of a wrongful death suit. I am very interested in the new lawyer Macaluso and have been doing some research on him. There are two lawsuits that I know of, Blink doing a brilliant piece on this, and I have emailed and called some people that were mentioned in the articles I read. To date nobody has gotten back to me.

I find a lot of people are focused on his accident reconstruction abilities but I am thinking he is also a "specialist" in wrongful death. At this point in time I tend to think he is a liar as he has lied to the Florida courts in his application to represent Casey and he is also a thief as he likes to write checks on an account where the money belongs to his clients and then blames it on his clerical staff.

I could be way out in left field here but he has my hinky meter way up.

I'll meet you over there if you like.  I went through something similar Sassy.  That's why I made some of the comments such as "any witnesses" and etc.  And this sort of thing is really difficult if it's your neighbors.

I agree too, Blink.  I think a case could be made for wrongful death, fraud if the father were unaware of Caylee's existence, and fraud if he were really killed in a crash and his family didn't know of Caylee's existence.  I thought it was  funny when Cindy said she had papers drawn up to get custody of Caylee should something happen to Casey.  Apparently she didn't know this could only have been done with the copnsent of the father.  Of course, we know that the lawyer she indicated had drawn up the documents said he did not. I would really like to see more lawsuits against the Anthonys.  they have gotten away with their roughshod treatment of other people for much too long.  That's one of the reasons I'd like to see a memorial park at the recovery site.  Just to spite Cindy.  Maybe I, too, am a spiteful b**ch.

Yes, I think it is kind of disrespectful to just leave it a big mess as it now is.  I'd like to see it cleaned up and made some kind of park or playground.  Just a pretty green space would be a big improvement.  It doesn't have to have a big concrete memorial or anything like that.  That really would be tacky and probably troubling to the children at the nearby school.  Just a nice green space with maybe a couple of benches.  It seems to me that the neighborhood association there operates as a Gestapo.  I sure wouldn't want them telling me what to do with my property.  They'd have something of a fight on their hands. The Constitution of the United States supercedes any little neighborhood association.

Another thing Im watching & waiting for is the verdict in the retrial of Phil Spector, for obvious reasons.   With new attorneys at the helm it will still be interesting to see if this jury votes guilty on murder or a lesser degree - if they do find guilty it will resurface questions about a host of missteps the first defense team made which included Linda Kenney Baden amongst a revolving door of defense attorneys & the tainted testimony of Dr. Henry Lee.   My guess, jury is going to come back with a guilty verdict for a lesser degree.

I am still wondering where all the confusion about expected discovery is.   This week they said 10 DVD's I dont think what we saw equates to that, maybe.  But 2 weeks ago reports were that 20 DVD's were turned over to the defense...just seems we are missing some and not just the possible release of any of the jail surveillance videos.   Where is the second interview of DC, this was never brought up at the motion hearing nor spoken of recently...hmmm   

If you look at that picture closely and look at the body language, KC was NOT a part of the group. She was tying to "fit in" with them, but none of them were paying any attention to her as she wanted. It is almost sad when you look at it.

I believe you can trademark the entire name, but just Caylee cannot be. Even if one does trademark a name, unless it is a business name, it does not have the right to charge royalties if I read it correctly. 

Most proper names are trademarked as a business, but if someone chooses that name for their child, it does not come under the trademark law.

Ditto that.  That's the reason I believe it's very important to find the paternity of Caylee.  There is a whole other family out there that probably doesn't know they are related to this case.  IF Caylee's father is deceased (which I highly doubt), there are still grandparents, aunts, uncles, and even cousins that might want to know they have a say in the going on of this case.

Maybe its just me but the image looks a bit empty w/out someone grabbing another's breast/derriere, or w/pierced tongue hanging out like an overheated dog...and the symbolic hand gestures too of course.

And for all the reasons above is precisely why the Anthony's don't want the paternity of the father to be known...they could try to come in ....a say in how the "estate" of Caylee should be handled...a part of the money that the Anthony's are making on Caylee's death (?),not that they would, but I am sure that it would be a concern of the Anthony's........ a say in if they want the death penalty or not? after all, wouldn't the bio father be next of kin? before the Anthony's?

true Steel....my post is in reference to now...since Caylee has passed...I wonder why they have been so coy? they seem the type that would want to know so that they could collect the child support....which Caylee would  have been  entitled to...they wouldn't have wanted the father to be in Caylee's life, but they would have taken his money IMO...

Good Morning Monks...old and new!  I have always felt casey didn't know for sure who fathered Caylee....and still feel that way. She supposedly had a one night stand...LOL....I'd imagine she had more than one of those....that produced the beautiful child...is possible....but I doubt it was who she said it was. Yes, the Ants were coy about Caylee's paternity.  In fact, I remember Cindy telling Greta that she had read the obituary when Caylee's father was killed, but she didn't remember the name.  Can you imagine not remembering your grandchild's father's name?  I can't and neither would anyone else, probably.

I think Casey does know who the father is and for whatever reason doesn't want to say. That's just my feeling and it could be wrong.

I just don't believe anything she says, including the stories about who Caylee's father is.

I think that KC may knows who the father is but the family is too embarrassed to say or withholding for another reason.  She has told too many stories and each one seems to make it appealing for the people that she is lying too.  I think that KC told these paternity stories to add a touch of drama to her life.  KC is a drama queen, but to the extent that it is pathological.

I, for one, was very happy to see that Lee was not the father.  I had my doubts, though.  I still think there is reason for the Anthonys to be embarrassed about who the father is.  If it was a one-night-stand, then why play games.  Those things happen.  No, there is something else going on here.  Maybe not incest, but something they do not want the world to know about.

Todd Macaluso is due in court for a status meeting tomorrow in LA on the alleged improprieties broughr forth by the CA Bar. That was pending when he submitted his appearance in Fla, and did not change that until he was called out after the last motion hearing. I have my doubts he will be able to participate in Casey's case as a result of that issue. Judge Strickland is not one to like being "played". Ive read his response in the Cali issue, Good Luck. Baez will have an easier time as he is still in the young lawyers division and they give them more leeway and tend to be lighter in sanctions.

There are 2 pending suits against him (Mac) so my guess is you will probably not get anyone to comment oustside of the court room, but if you do great job!  

That is a thought, but honestly for me no dollar could buy my mouth staying shut.  LOL  Anthony's are different though, I get that, but seriously I think that if that were the case, that there was "hush money" or support money coming in then there would not have been all of the many fights and thefts of money being taken place.

Murdered Florida girl Caylee Anthony's father might have been a co-worker her mother had a one-night stand with, according to police documents released this week.

Casey Anthony told childhood friend Melina Calbrese that she once slept with a man she worked with at Universal Studios named Josh and believed he was the father of her baby, according to a transcript of an interview between Calbrese and Orange County Sheriff’s Office Captain Yuri Melich.

Caylee's father, whose last name wasn't given, died in a car accident and never knew about Caylee, who was 2 when she disappeared last summer, Anthony has said.

The child's remains were found in December a half-mile from the Anthony family home. The medical examiner ruled her death a homicide; Anthony is in jail on first-degree murder and other charges.

Calabrese told police she initially believed Caylee's father was Anthony's former fiance, Jessie Grund, until the couple broke up when the child was 9 months old, according to the transcript. That's when she says Anthony told her that "a really hot guy" named Josh from Georgia had fathered the baby. His last name wasn't given.

Calabrese said Anthony told her they'd had a one-night stand at a hotel near Universal Studios, where they both worked. Josh had a girlfriend he was planning to marry and already had a child.

Anthony told Calabrese the same story she relayed to her mother, Cindy Anthony: Caylee's father died in a car crash about the time the toddler turned 2.

Anthony tried to hide her pregnancy until about the seventh month, according to the police documents released Friday.

Interview transcripts also show that Anthony apparently took marijuana and ecstasy and had a rocky relationship with her mother, Cindy Anthony.

Earlier this week, the wooded lot where Caylee's remains were found was put up for sale.

The half-acre Orlando property went on the market at an asking price of $89,900, the real estate agent representing the land owner told WOFL FOX 35.

Steel...ITA   What has always bugged me is when C&G visited KC the first time in the jail and KC was sitting w/psychologist and then she came over & sat down w/C&G, and KC said to them "DON'T WORRY I DIDN'T TELL THEM ANYTHING".  And then Sindy said..."We forgive you for anything that you may have said." (or something like that)

What did that mean?  Is it something that Sindy didn't want KC to tell a therapist from way back...meaning is that why Sindy didn't want KC to go for 'help' when she told 2 people that she wanted to be commited?  

I don't know what to make of that statement...so many possibilities.

A good possibility.  I've always thought that KC was an escort and that Caylee may have been conceived as a result.

On the question of what to do with the land:  The area floods and would take major storm sewer work to prevent such when hurricanes move through the area.  I wish LP had not fought with Tim - they could have made it a Texas Eq. memorial for all the lost.  (Plus it would have been perfect for cindy's blood pressure! LOL)

Anyone think that Shirley throttled cindy and thus cindy throttled casey around the neck like mom had done to her?  Don't get me wrong, I like Shirley best (see, I am even showing her respect by capitalizing her name still!) but seems cindy didn't learn the technique correctly or casey would have fessed up.

The insights from Casey Anthony's maternal grandmother are disturbing.

NBC's "Today" this morning highlighted those words and the Anthony family tensions. Grandmother Shirley Plesea told investigators,"I just wonder if she [Casey] hated her mom more than she loved Caylee."

Casey Anthony is charged with Caylee's murder. Her defense team says it will not respond to this information, released by the state last week, until her trial begins in the fall.

NBC reporter Kerry Sanders looked back at the time when Cindy Anthony, Casey's mom, was giving daily interviews. Plesea proved prophetic. "Cindy's out of control for one reason," Plesea told investigators. "If Cindy doesn't believe Casey, then Caylee's dead. Honest to God, that's my feeling."

How to make Case talk? Put her in the general jail population, Plesea said -- a comment that many readers have suggested.

    Now that we know Lee is not Caylee's father, my vote would have to be with the young man who's death certificate was in the document release.  I believe his name was Eric?  I can't think of any other reason for it to have been in there.  If he is the father, would LE inform his relatives???  If not they may not have any idea.

I'm still waiting for my sources to fill me in on this story.

Why are we monkeys so obsessed with KC's pregnancy and who is Caylee's daddy?  Don't take that the wrong way, because I am one of those monkeys.  I understand that we have NEVER seen a family like the Anthonys before and it is hard to think like them.

But go back to the wedding where KC was pregnant.  Cindy was denying that she was even pregnant when it was clearly visible she was.  What did she think she was going to say when the baby arrived?  I sometimes wonder if there wasn't some background deal to have the baby adopted.  Cindy could then say "what baby?".  How else was she going to get around the lie that KC was not pregnant?

I just don't know what to think of that madness.  Who acts like that?

Used to be the girl would go stay with family for a while, come back, no baby.....

Ackmon...IIRC this Eric Baker was proven not to be the father. I think DNA test were done by LE to rule him out. By his death certicate he would have been 15 at the time Caylee would have been conceived. I think it odd that all the guys that Casey has accused of being the father have all died in traffic accidents.  ::MonkeyConfused:: 

I'd just like to see someone sitting on Caylee's side of the courtroom and even if the father wouldn't, maybe someone in his family would like the chance to stand up for (and show love to) a child they never knew existed.

I figure that the majority of the folks on the State's witness list will be on Caylee's side of the courtroom.

It doesn't make sense to me either... All I can think of was that the whole family is so used to lying about everything that they would automatically spit out lies probably just for the hell of it.  They don't care if their lies are believable, obviously.

 They just go along like they are normal.  They are blind to reality.

He was only 18 when he died in May 2007.
He lived in Kentucky.
According to the death certificate his race is black/white.
He was a student in HS.
He was never married, nor had any children.
He would have only been 15 yrs. old when Caylee was conceived.

The bounty hunter who loves to talk will have to wait to be interviewed under oath in Casey Anthony's defamation case.

Leonard Padilla said he'll be questioned under oath for the civil case in May after her parents are interviewed by attorneys.

Padilla was going to be questioned on Wednesday – an interview scheduled months ago by attorneys for Zenaida Gonzalez, the 38-year-old Kissimmee woman suing Anthony.

He said he's not fighting the deposition but attorneys wanted to talk to him after they speak with Anthony's parents, George Anthony and Cindy Anthony. Their depositions are set for next month at the office of Morgan & Morgan law firm.


Later this week, private investigators Dominic Casey and Jim Hoover are scheduled to be questioned at the law office.

Gonzalez is suing Anthony for more than $15,000 in damages.

She claims she lost her job and suffered humiliation and public embarrassment after Anthony told investigators that a baby sitter by the same name took her 2-year-old child Caylee Marie, who was found dead six months later in December.

Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in the case.

Hi everyone.  It is taking me forever to catch up this morning.   

This is the reason for everyone wondering "who's the daddy"!   Wasn't it CA who pointed the finger at this dude?   Why would she try to point the finger at anyone, name anyone's name as being the daddy - if she wasn't trying to mislead everyone.   Just makes all of us more curious as to who is the daddy and why the coverup!!!    There's gotta be something more to this story, JMO.

I think we are so consumed by "Who's Your Daddy" due to the fact that no one believes Cindy's little "He is dead" story.  With all her mounds of lies, not even LE is believing it!  IF LE believed her than they would not have tested Lee's DNA to Caylee's.  That is why we are so interested...given this family ANYTHING and EVERYTHING possible under the sun could and probably has been done by these dungholes!

I have often wondered if Caylee's father was not a former teacher of Casey's.    

Also, another reason I do not believe the "Daddy died" story is this.  IF it were true, Casey could have told that to Jesse for sympathy and kept the relationship probably pretty solid rather than lie and attempt to cover up with the "its yours although we did not have sex at that time...I am the virgin Mary you know!"

Jesse seems to be of a sensitive nature, he loved Caylee, no doubt he would have been happy to step up..IF that story were true.  (Just my thoughts)

Didn't the "daddy died" story happen around Caylee's second birthday?

Also would explain the drop out from school.  I know that teen pregnancy warrants a higher risk of drop out, but it just seems hinky in this case to me.  Cindy is too controling and wants everything to be "perfect" so she is seen as a successful parent.  I just do not see her letting up on Casey and allowing her to drop out if not for reasons other than Caylee.

That could be, or a married man or even a boss of Casey when she worked at Universal.

I am not 100% sure when "Daddy died" came into play.  Given the Anthony's and their lust for money, I doubt that Cindy or George would have alloud 2 hours to go by without given a name of the man they could latch onto for child support, let alone 2 years.  So I do not know. 
I was of the understanding that once the paternity tests came back negative to Jesse that is when Casey came out with her story....but not 100% on that.

Honestly though, if the daddy is still alive, regardless of his social stature, he would have had to of paid the Anthony's something to get them to leave him the hell alone.

NOW on that same thought, maybe Cindy does believe he died ONLY because that is what Casey has told her to believe.  Maybe Cindy herself does not even know the whole truth, quite possibly this is Casey's personal secret.

IIRC..she didn't actually 'drop out'.  Think she completed the school year 1/2 credit short and just didn't bother making it up to obtain the diploma.  Really dumb.

OK my fellow sleuthers...let's take this scenario and run with it...Say Caylee's father was a man who did not want this info out...maybe even a financial settlement took place.  Slore stole from everyone, including her grandparents...is it possible that she would NOT go back to this man for money?  If he was a man of means, and he died, wouldn't Caylee be entitled to Social Security? Numbers - That is where it gets confusing!  Cindy surely would have tried to collect on the SS benefits, IF she believed it was true...HOWEVER would paternity not have to be first proven in order for the government to shell out money?  I am not familiar with the legality of all of that, but given no name was stated on the birth certificate possibly Cindy was denied, OR told by Casey that she had been denied the SS due to this?

I think it has been said that he did not know Casey at the time of conception. But IMO that has not been proven. If he lived in Orlando at the time, did they go to the same school? Did they possibly hook up at a bar one night?

He could have "hit it and quit it" and denied it later due to the fact that Casey is such a ho he was embarrassed.

I just cannot get over the similarity in looks. 

The only way that Cindy would have given up the possibility of money would be if she was afraid of losing ALL control of Caylee to a part time father and family.

That would be a reason for no paper trail and the fake story of dead dad.

My daughter has very distinguishable features from her father: Dimples, long eyelashes and big brown eyes, his lips, etc. Do we really think Jesus Ortiz with his distinctive chin and dimples fathered Caylee?
