Interesting Christmas poll I found, with one interesting response.......have a look.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

As you know, Christmas is one of my favorite holidays. As you also know, this one will probably be kind of a downer, for a variety of reasons you’re probably already familiar with. What should I do for Christmas to avoid having to sit through the family meltdown that will inevitably occur?

Response:subversivegrrl -- Hop a flight to Aruba. Or perhaps (the lo-cost version), surround yourself with tiki decor, take hallucinogens, and *pretend* you're in Aruba.

Hi Monkeys,
 I hope all had a great Christmas. I have not read back to see what was going on. Just read page 12. Last night when I signed off we had 4 more pages to go on the previous thread. Looks like our posters can't stay away.

So sad it has taken Aruba all this time to find out there police force is incompetant oh oops meant in efficient. LOL We have been telling them for a year and a half now.

Angie you were so right to stay home with the 17 year old. I remember those days well. LOL

Justinsmama, I am so glad to hear your Mom is doing so much better. Try to explain to her that she is going to be weak and it will take awhile to regain her strength.

Lil Puma, I loved the comment about it is not the crime that concerns them but the reporting of it.

Oh there are so many more comments I could make but will wait until the next post.

I hope that Natalee's family and friends were able to obtain a semblance of inner peace today.

Same here Justins. It's been my fervent prayer now for 18 months and here they are on their second Christmas with out her...God bless Natalee and her family!!

What is really sad is that all their Christmases will be without Natalee from now on.  This family needs justice and they need it now.

Remember this article from last December? It is no wonder there is a problem policing itself.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

From Amigoe, December 8, 2005

Police discovered cocaine balls factory in Seroe Blanco

    ARUBA – The police discovered a cocaine balls factory by accident. This happened during an incursion in an apartment in Seroe Blanco. The police arrested several people and confiscated professional equipment and four kilo cocaine. Apparently, the two escaped prisoners were hiding in this apartment.

    The fugitives were not in the apartment when the police dropped in. While the search is continuing, Justice-minister Rudy Croes (MEP), KIA-governor Freddy Maduro and manager Ronny Paskel of Cuerpo Especial Aruba had a meeting last Tuesday to discuss the escape. After the meeting, Croes indicated that heads will roll when it becomes clear who is responsible for the escape. Adi Thijsen, party chairman of the MEP and lawyer praised the KIA-personnel. He indicated that probably, absence through illness (60 percent) and lack of personnel played a big part in the escape. It is not easy for the KIA-personnel. Mentally, they have to be strong and they are under a lot of pressure due to the absence through illness. Logically, things go wrong sometimes. He says that the government has to take measures to avoid such escapes. The government has a personnel freeze and this is not good for the KIA. More people should be hired here in order to protect the community. The KIA-personnel should work less overtime and rest more. This way they can enjoy their work which will be to the advantage of the society.

Well, we had a nice day and had blupper with the children.  It was nice to see them all but the baby had an earache and was banging on the piano, one got a trumpet and the other a drum set.  I am sure the baby's earache was worse than mine, but I have been through all that with their fathers, and now it is time for payback.  I left early.  LOL.  The parents can't leave..... their wives asked me how did I do it through the years?  Gee.  They each have one each and I had three beaters-and-blowers at once.

Sounds great, None!  Think I will brew up a little of the fancy coffees son and DL sent to me.  Skip nap that way and get all hyper on the pie and caffeine, I might actually make a movement toward putting some of these things away, lol!

I am totally lazy today!  Just wanna lie around and watch goofy stuff on TV.   Very Happy

Saw a recipe for chocolate pecan pie recently.  That sounds interesting, too.

.

Anna, My DH makes a chocolate pecan pie since I am a chocoholic. He melts 2 squares of Bakers unsweetened chocolate in a double boiler and then adds it to the standard pecan pie recipe. Yummmmmmy!

When they say food is the way to a man's heart, Chocolate is to a womans. JMHO

Rain but no snow, IBE. It will come, far more than we Hoosiers will want. Mom is greatly improved. Sat up with legs over edge of bed (with help), mask off all day, coughing well, and able to have some small amounts of liquids and jello. That's my Christmas gift, and it's the best one I've ever had.   Monkeys have been wonderfully supportive! I told her that even a bunch of monkeys were pulling for her! Told her they were online buddies.
