I have posted in the prayer thread as well, please pray for my son.  His lung collapsed on Friday night and the xray today showed that he ripped the lung completely away from the chest cavity.  He is schedule for emergency surgery tomorrow and is in a lot of pain and scared out of his mind right now

I am not doing well with all this.  He is spending the night in the emergency ward as there were no other beds and with full moon that place is not helping his anxiety level.

He is also not in or local hospital as they referred him to a bigger one today.

Trimm Hope you enjoyed your night with sidekick. One day at a time. I know it's hard to let go of some things. But they are not worth your health they really aren't. They will get theirs one way or another.

We went over to friends today, so hubs could fix their mower. Had a good visit brought home lots of peaches. Daughter is getting them ready to freeze. Hope everyone has a good night and day tomorrow.

Northern Rose It is so scary when things happen to our children I don't care how old they are. I guess it's a good thing they sent him to a bigger hospital but I am sure you would like it to be closer so you could be with him. Please let us know how he is doing. The collapsed lung is bad enough but to add he ripped it away from his chest cavity. I am glad they kept him to watch for the night and didn't send him home. Hopefully they will keep him medicated to help with the pain and his anxiety level down some. Prayers

Northern, I am so sorry to hear about your son's condition. I am sending my best thoughts to him and you and your family right now. I know this is difficult for all of you.

His being in the emergency ward is probably a good thing, and he hopefully is being treated for his pain. Also, it sounds like he was put into the best hospital to treat him, although it is not your local one. I will be thinking of him tomorrow when he is in surgery.

I am so sorry this is happening. Wish I could offer more words of encouragement. We will be thinking of him!

No Rose I agree about the war, just read about the leaked documents and it reminds me of Vietnam War all over again.

TBM the donks would love to come. They don't swim but could trim your trees,mow your yard and take care of fertilizing for you.

Today we made it to 102 degrees nd tonight were hit with storms(rain,hail,40mph winds and lightning) I am ready for Fall. It's 2AM and still 78 degrees

NR - I am so sorry for you and your son. It is so hard to watch a child in pain and not be able to do anything. I will send prayers for all of you and for the doctors that are caring for him. Please keep us posted.

Good morning everyone.   mymonkey thank-you for the prayers. 4 Donks it is like Vietnam all over again     I'm worried about my daughter she woke me up with a severe headache and vomiting from stress, we thought about taking her to the ER in the middle of the night. This morning she says she feels better, I'm demanding that she calls the doctor and gets put on the proper anti anxiety pills.

Thank you Brandi.  It will be this weekend that I am home and let me tell ya I CAN'T WAIT!  How is the heat out there?  I hope you are staying cool, the forecast for here today is a high of 88.  That is hot, I cannot even imagine 102.  Yikes.
