JOSSY MANSUR, MANAGING EDITOR, "DIARIO": Well, the latest is that, besides what we already know about the tapes, that Joran has said that he is willing to meet with the police (INAUDIBLE) the prosecution in Holland, and the meeting apparently has been set for the day after tomorrow. And Mos is traveling to Holland probably tomorrow.

Personally, I don`t understand this because it seems to me that Joran is still calling the shots and that he is willing to meet with the police when he wants to.

GRACE: Talk about the tail wagging the dog. Joran Van Der Sloot and his family have been the tail in this scenario since the get-go. Now he`s telling police when it`s convenient for him to meet with them, when we know for nearly three years, he has looked police straight in the eye and lied. Will this be any different?

Vanderstratten was called, most likely by Palus.  I believe JVS went off on her with his temper.  They were afraid to to show the public the shape she was in and decided to lay the ground work for a possible seizure in case they were eventually caught.  That would not seem as bad (to them) perhaps as what the lunitic(s) did to get her controlled.  This most likely happed on the inside of some of their homes or hotel.  A mattress with blood was found and explained away.  The law suits would have been enormous from not only the homeowner(s) but failue of the businesses to provide safe access, etc.  Every business and gov officials alike whos children participated in this, most likely beach sucurity, deck hands (dirty?) while supposing to be on duty would be in for some serious law suits or so their monetary thinking would be.  Hotels, all who assisted in any way of the disposal, the boats used, etc.  It is enormous.  What screwed them up is the tireless mother, along with her American bands of outraged people never let up.  It is breaking open, I believe, and the more they try to explain the lowered tourism away, the more we Americans will just have to make our point more clearer.  Those people think with their wallets and their butts and about every ones elses' wallet  and everyones butt.  Sick bunch of idiots.    Jack Blue

I think Van der Stratten would explain the painting by saying that the blonde, blue-eyed Dutch have reached out ACROSS the water to other nationalities as shown by the other eye colors.  This is his obvious meaning.  The subliminal interpretation depicts the racism inherent in the Dutch culture.  The very fact that blonde, blue-eyed people need to "reach out" to people of other colors is racist itself.  Van der Stratten is displaying his own cultural prejudices but trying to be Politically Correct.  Poor man.  I doubt he even realizes how racist he is.

I lurked for years before I signed on.  Well, actually I was an intial monkey but got lost in the crash.  Anyway, I don't think Shango / Simian is all bunk.  The corruption was quickly evident and really the only way to convey some things had to be done cryptically.

I don't roll my eyes when you post.  You are providing an invaluable service to this overall mystery, as are countless others.  I look forward to reading your posts and even though you sometimes think your ink in invisible, I assure you it is not.

Just had to add a "me too" to Miss Scarlett's sentiments. 

I was a FP poster during those first days, as well as an early monkey lost in the crash.  I've still been here and seem to find while reading the threads that my viewpoints and opinions are already well represented, so I don't post much.

Anyway, I'm grateful to you for keeping all those early clues in the mix.  No eye-rolling here either.

Someone posted on the front page of SM that Joran confessed he committed suicide but nobody believes him any more.

because if he gets misquoted other journalist can make him look stupid if facts turn out different.
but in earlier programs (he did at least three) about Natalee he went in great length about the PvdS en van Straaten connection and much more. even about the photo showing PvdS in the casino with Natalee.

Joran said in his "confession" that he bought Natalee a shot of 151 and she slammed it down. Does anyone know how long before they left C&C' s that happened? I am speculating that was the drink w/the date rape drug was in. Any thoughts on this anyone?

Joran arrived at C & C's at 12:30 AM.  Natalee was dancing.  Then they did the jelly shot thing.  Then, they walked to a different bar area and he bought her the 151 shot.  The bar closed at 1 AM.  I have to assume the shot was consumed about 12:45 to 12:50 AM.  GHB takes only 15 to 20 minutes to take effect.  Shortly after 1 AM (about 1:15 AM) another student saw Natalee being helped out of the bar by Deepak.  She was most likely incapacitated by then.

I'm wondering why Deepak was taking Her out of C N C where was Joran and Satish......

Hi txlady...I have missed you and your little car.  Joran's story about the 151 shot gave me pause.  I don't know where it is right now, but he says that he bought Natalee that drink, she wanted to just sip it or only take part of it...somewhere in all that he says something like...no you have to take it all at once.  I know that is how you take shots of liquor, but with Joran I read ulterior motives into everything he says.  Kind of like this, "No, you have to drink it all at once...(so you can be sure you get all the drug that is in that shot).  MOO

I think Greta is making corruption her baby, Caesu, to get a firm footing in the story again since her derailment with Joran and Tacopina. Let's hope so.

The corruption angle is right up Peter's alley, hope he turns his attention to it.

Obviously, we don't know for sure.  But, I will speculate.  Her friend saw her walking out of C & C's at 1 AM and Joran was walking beside her.  They were not touching or holding hands, just simply beside each other as there was a large crowd of people leaving C & C's at the time.  Natalee indicated to the friend that she was going back to the HI with the group of people in front of them. 

About 1:15 AM, another student in a bar across the street from C&C's saw Natalee again leave C&C's, but this time she was being supported by Deepak.  We can only assume she did not want to go anywhere with Joran, could not get a taxi, and went back into the bar to find her friends to take her back to the HI.  She was most likely confused and disoriented at this point.  Joran had probably failed to get her to the back of C&C's where Deepak's car was parked as she wouldn't go anywhere with him in a car.  Joran and Satish were at the car in back of C&C's and Deepak was sent into the bar to get her, most likely posing as a taxi driver.  She probably went with him because he told her he had a taxi for her and she was too disoriented to protest.
My opinion only, as we don't know for sure.
