Hi Mere

Would you be speaking of "Big Daddy" by any chance?
 Monkey Devil!

I hate to even think about Big Daddy, but I am not feeding him all summer either.

Being a sucker for infomercials, I ordered the Tree Tomato as Seen on TV thinking I can move the container to the new apartment.  Doesn't look like even a normal sized tomato from what sprouted but here's hoping.  I do love fresh tomatoes.

If it survives, I think I will try the hanging upside down planter for a couple of them.  At least that's what I have in mind.  Sometimes what I have in mind and what I get are not the same thing.

Container gardening is fun, Mere, and practical. The foliage is decorative and the fruits edible! Can't get any better than that.

I was also out scouting the pastures this morning for rocks to build some rock and concrete steps. I should have named this place "Flat Rock Farm",lol. The frost heaves here push all the rocks to the surface and Spring is a nice time to collect them. Of course the boulders will have to wait

I"ve seen those, Anna!  Let us know how they turn out, okay?
Seems like a neat way to grow "maters" if it works!

Hi Anna, I'm no stalker, but I do read on Musings sometimes. I have a vague idea where you are. I think your property is beautiful. I grew up in Mobile but live in Ohio now. I so miss the south! Take care in the bad weather. Seems like most of the bad stuff is staying down south this year. an angelic monkey

Thanks, Fannie Mae.  I am going to miss living in the country after I move but am looking forward to that as well.

Life is change.

And Art is having Lobster!  It's certainly not inexpensive here now.  Would love some, however.

Off to check on things in between the bands of storms.

The rain has made everything grow so fast, especially the bamboo.  Need a couple of pandas.

Have a good day and if the weather is bad, well, is good day to read a good book.

Anna, Lobster prices here vary between 2.99 and 4.99 a pound. That is today, Yesterday they were 5.99 a pound. It seems to fluxuate on a daily basis. Of course, being right on the coast, I can run down to the waterfront and buy them off the boats, too.

Monkeys in the Caylee thread.I'll be in and out.
We had a rotation come over the house. There were a few people knocked around in their cars in the county across from us.Took them to the hospital.
Our cats and dogs were running everywhere.I have a small grocery cart that I threw Digger and Taco in and ran to the shop.Picture The Wizard of Oz.
I know it's serious but I have to have a sense of humor.Anyway I'm off to make some extra coffee. It's gonna be a long day.BRB to Caylee thread.
Please stay safe!
