I went from ecstatic and happy, screaming with joy, dancing a jig down to terrible disappointment—in minutes.  Rob almost gave me a heart attack!  But thanks to Jossy’s and Easy’s info, I still feel hopeful about the case…

I watch too many of the true crime type TV shows, but anytime a cop catches someone in a lie during an interrogation it is all but over.  They just go after them and keep on digging until they get the answers.  Even worse is someone gets on a witness stand and lies to the prosecutor.  Yet, in Aruba it seems like lying is a good excuse to tell a different lie.  I don’t get it!!!!!

I think it was hard for people to recognize it as a joke at first because we've all been hoping so desperately for some news in the case. Now we're all feeling really let down.

That is true!! Kalpoes turning on Aruba may be one of the very few things I think can happen for a resolution in this case. I just dont believe they are willing to do anything that will release any truth in what happened to Natalee. They have fought tooth and nail since day 1.

Good news is according to Lazlo and Jossy the case is NOT closed.  Good news is according to Lazlo, more searches going on.

It would have been funny if it had not been what we have all been here for two years hoping to hear.
I like the suggestion that Joran or Guido's places in Holland may be the ones being searched.  Didn't Joran lose all his stuff in the "robbery" and it is hard to imagine what Guido took with him from Aruba when he left so soon after the events.

You could have said they had arrested a piggy in the case, and we would have assumed it was Anita.

Well, fwiw, I took Rob's post as a joke right off the bat just by the way it was worded..sorta "goofin" on the MF post and the super secret hidey hole!

I think after the posts by MF, then Lazlo, etc, we are all a little on edge waiting for some news.

Cheer up, MOnkeys, the day is coming and we will all see justice. It's the wait that is killing us all.
