Finally caught up. One more word on the Duggars' Jim Bob was a former state representative. If I remember correctly, he came from a large family. She didn't, and her sister thought she was crazy. All I can say is more power to them. I stopped after five. My husband would have liked to have more, but me and the doctor said enough.

Hello wonderful monkeys.

We still do not know their legal system (not sure the average Aruban knows it either)
    • How can you have bars / casinos that cater to underage activities not be held accountable?
    • How can you have adults that contribute to these activities not be held accountable?
    • If they are not held accountable for minor crimes why would we expect accountablity for any major crime
      Mad
Ok this confused is the last thing  in the post..will be a confused smiley  but I'm betting end-list marker gets added after it  Confused[/list]

This Old Fart, is why the AHATA hotel and casino owners piled on the cover-up. They fear being sued for this and the revealing of money laundering of drug money that takes place on their premises. Here is why they feared the FBI and tried to stop them at every turn, throwing money at the Van der Sloot legal bills and scheming in back rooms the AHATA line that she overdosed herself.

Anyone ever wonder what the average age is in this place?   Laughing
    [/quote

    It's around 47.5....

If we're talking mental age, mine would be more like 4.75.  Laughing

Y'all have been posting up a storm today!

I have always thought that K2 were NOT at the grand finale of whatever happened that night. FWIW, I have never felt they were in the "Inner Circle" of Joran's perps who would have been at a party that he hosted or played a role in. That would be for the Freddies and Guidos and Koens. They were supposedly not very frequent visitors to the VDS home.

I think I just raised that average a little bit.

    I would agree with that.

    Ok.. Monkey's I'm headed out..

    Just some Nannas for thought.
    - the infamous (?) Skeeters's tape - Deepak says something like "It was a simple night"

Why Jammie never asked "What happend to change that" we will never know - but I sure wish he had.

I'm at the point I do not care who slipped the drugs to Natalee (how would you prove it now).. Whether she was assaulted (again how would you prove it now)

I want all those involved in the conspiracy to cover up her disappearnace held accountable.

Yes I do think she had an O.D. from some sort of Liquid-X being slipped to her
    but
I still have a tiny, tiny  amount of hope that when they went back to where they left her -- she was still alive and they decided to move her off island vs killing her.

Just some speculation by an OldFart without ANY "true" facts to go on.

Age is irrelevant. I go by the adage (of Mickey Mantle):

Here's a thought that I don't think has been addressed in ALL this time:

IF Natalee had ACCIDENTALLY OD'ed on a drug that was slipped into her drink, she most likely would NOT have retained any coherent knowledge of what happened to her afterward. Unless she actually SAW Joran spike the drink, etc, she would have NO reason to blame the guys for doing anything. In fact, they could play the Prince Charming angle with her and act like Sir Galahad was on the scene to help her in her hour of distress, if they wanted to.

There would be NO REASON to kill her to cover up a crime. She would not have known what happened to her, or really who was responsible.

and what it didn't contain the cocaine, for example... I would love to know if there is a tape... I mean wasn't freddy spending the night?

I also refuse to believe that she wasn't raped, especially since Anita told Greta and Beth the details of her underwear...
