I can see visitors and newbie's  coming to the LCD when news is slow and saying

Maybe I should have kept   but the Train left the station and I chose to get on board for what ever the destination is.  I can choose to have an influence on that ... for get off anytime.

I like the "CAGE"   not sure how the old RBN current LCD became know as that but it did.

Early on when new information was easy to come by there was little Off Topic items posted.
Heck it was hard to keep track of what was being posted

Things slowed... and we found started just yacking and found some stuff about each other..  etc.

With the lack of new information, Now the "CAGE"  is like walking into a favorite meeting place... Talk about most anything...to  Friends and people you do not know... Except we do not have .....

Someone from another group overhears part of a conversation ... walks over and says
"Sorry, I just overheard part of what you just said... We got a group overhear talking about the same subject. Would you like to join us for a bit to talk about just that subject ."

I hope this is not as confusing as I think it will be...

I'm going to be after asking this (looking for object  flying in the air etc.)
Being an OldTimer-- semi-set in my ways --   I know things change on move forward like it or not... so
