Widget - I think it might be her.  The forhead, eyebrows, nose and chin are the same.  The only difference is the eyes and I think she's just smiling bigger for Dr. Phil's cameras

For those who may have missed it this morning, it seems Satish was also seen on July 15, 2006 at the same party Joran/girlfriend, Koen and Sander were at.

At least I don't think it is..may have to take a closer look

There's several reasons.  The phone/computer records and comments made by Joran on the polis van tape strongly point to a scenario where she was left alive with Joran somewhere other than his home, where 2K could theoretically have harmed her after he left her.  And the M beach dropoff is consistent with all of that.  I also favor the "little truth in every lie" principle- that is, most criminals' lies, rather being clever and complicated and creative, tend to follow the basic outline of what actually happened except omitting the incriminating parts.  

The main reason tho is the sequence in which the stories evolved during interrogation.  Joran was the first to abandon the HI lie, with his story that 2K dropped him off at home and drove off with Natalee.  To which 2K both responded by abandoning the HI lie and telling the same story, that they left Joran and Natalee at the M beach.  And then Joran changed his story to agree that he was dropped off there.  I'm skeptical that 2K would have been clever enough to have prepared such a good backup story on their own before being arrested.  And that Joran would have gone along with it, unless it were true, and once he abandoned the 2K drove off with her story and had to admit he was left alone with her somewhere other than his home, he figured he might as well just tell the truth about where, since he couldn't think of a lie that would be better.  

I'm not overwhelmingly convinced they were on the M beach, but I think it's more likely than not, maybe 70-80%.

Thanks for answering me.  I love a good debate. I agree that there is an element of truth in the lies.  However, I was under the impression that Joran abandoned the HI story only after confronted with the fact that both Kalpoes had already done so.  I also thought that Joran had confessed shortly afterwards, but it was retracted and the confession never signed.  It's my impression that Joran changed to the dropped off at his house on the 13th.

Yes, I saw that, too, but in the Dr. Phil shot, her face is up and expressive, and in the one w/SK, the face is more turned down, and not as flattering. Like Mishy said, if it's not her, it could be a sister or look alike.
