I second that motion
Mr. Easy

Ono says that pieces of the puzzle are slowly being revealed ...
Whatever these " boys " were up to , it was taken for granted that this was normal behaviour. Why ? No one in Aruba was seeing any red flags
before Natalee got there. If the police were aware of any of these crimes, they were silent. So was the ALE. these people live there and have private citizen lives. They go out to the clubs, their kids go out to the clubs. On a small island where everyone knows everyone or is at least aware of them.
Just like C & C's... they all knew the reputation .. why not clean it up?
All these ' systems" were in place and ran like a well oiled machine before Natalee set foot on the place.
I never agreed withthe boycott, now I do. Some of that is because of Dave Holloway. If a man like that says something and believes in something, then I have to pay attention.

Kat, I think it goes back to Glenda's comment that they think American girls are easy.  So it's not the fault of their home boys.

Easy, take a look at some of these... these were ordinary events of the day. Everyone saw these scenes, few took pictures.

I think Joran and Paulus are guilty as hell!

I agree.

ME TOO!

They are, no doubt in so many minds.....we need to prove it to whoever is in charge and will listen to reality. It still blows my mind that everything in these statements didn't warrant more action. In the USA, I feel they would have...ACKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!

it isn't just confined to American girls... look at "Fishy" .. what a nik for a
girl. Joran had sex with grils, but gee, he couldn't remember their names or where they lived... sort of like rabbits..

chopped liver here... Very Happy   I totally agree.....isn't it amazing if we ask ourselves the same questions and we were not guilty of anything...our answers would be so different.....Mere

This is so totally true.  Well, not the chopped liver part.   Wink   While Joran is saying that Beth and Jug didn't behave like a normal family would, the truth is the Slooties didn't behave like a normal family would.  They were home discussing how to stay out of trouble instead of showing any concern for Natalee or her family.  No searching, lying, deciding to change the lies, warnings about cell phones and computers, looking for alibis, playing tennis, gambling.  Paulus' tongue should have fallen out when he said they cooperated and how anyone can believe Joran actually feels bad about leaving her on the beach, even if you believe he left her on the beach.  Which, of course, he didn't.  Now we know even the Kalpoes didn't believe that.

That's kind of depressing!

Look at these water colors done by a local artist.  What do you think?  Could it be put behind a couch?

I bought a magazine for my SIL as he has the best digital camera. It was a National Geographic special edition for digital cameras. This was recently. It has some great things in there. Things that I could do with my lowly type 2 - 300 dollar cameras, digital and the 35 M.
It's in the seeing, not the camera.. look at Ansel Adams, what he did.

I love Ansel Adams!  The stark reality of life seems to find its self in his pictures.  I would wallpaper my house with his work, but I need color.

Aren't they  ? I can only look at these or read John Steinbeck
so much. But, they do invoke the times and the struggle of the Great Depression, don't they?
Of course that picture could go good anywhere.
You are having a love affair with where you live ? You have a camera ?
I have some small pictures that I had " plaqued " ??. Costco here and certain photo stores here do it.
There is no frame and no glass. Big pictures ae expensive. 8 x 10 are very affordable.
.
When we drive out to the country, I love fallin' down farm properties,
fields of sunflowers, a farmer on his John Deere getting the canola in.
Harvest moons. Lightening in a summer sky.
Translate the things and feelings  you love about where you are to photos.
.
This week, there are some old buildings downtown here on my walk around to where I live that are beautiful. The old gargoyles, the brass
pictographs. Now that my tech stuff is fixed, wow ! !
.
The building where I used to work had pictures taken of their gargoyles and columns and framed. We all asked, gee thoses are nice pictures, where did they get them ? We were directed to go outside and look up at the building. We never look at the things right in front of us.

Those C & C's pix, those girls. They are just having their pix taken with the local wildlife. Doesn't mean Jerry got a date. Unless the drugs are stronger than we suspect. LOL

Hey sweetpea!  No one is here.  Even Klaasend is hiding!  So, we can rip the soil and tear up the grass!
