Shaving of the head is part of the prep for execution in the electric chair.

I guess it's a subliminal way of wishing for Justice  Laughing

And I actually thought Klaasend was serious... LOL!

Who thought that one up?

BTW, just a comment about the ANS case... I am disturbed about the trends I see in the courts today (on lots of levels), especially though in the realm of parental rights. There is an increasing tendency toward a policy of "biology trumps all else" that I am NOT in favor of.

Any moron can conceive a child (father OR mother). There are plenty of people in the world today who do so who have ZERO ability or right to act the ROLE of a parent. Placing kids in bio-parents' hands as a default stance, is in many cases exposing those children to danger. Sometimes grandparents or other relatives, or even foster parents or friends of the family who love a child, are the BEST people to raise that child.

The courts are doing this, in my opinion, to "cover" the pro-abortion agenda. Biology Trumps All means that no matter the circumstances the whim of the bio-mom, who may be a drugged-out whacko that makes Julia Renfro look good, is above all else. That's garbage.

I realize my position may raise some hackles but it's not the first time I took a stance that might be unpopular.    Wink

well in TN they are taking an 8 yr old girl away from her adopted parents because ala Madonna the parents in China didn't know they were giving her up for adoption... needless to say the little girl does not want to leave her parents and sister to go home with strangers....

so now people will be fearful of adopting not only here but outside of the country as well... judges need to get a damn clue...

that is a situation that really burns me up....

TUBERCULOSIS ALERT

There was an epidemic of tuberculosis in Aruba in 2006.

On the news last night:

At Dacula High School, one person has an active case of TB.  Almost 300 teachers & students had to be tested for TB.  Results not in yet.

Gee, I hope the Gottenbos are OK.

I don't know what makes me more angry, news such as what we heard about Kaitlin, or cases like these.

End result the same: children's lives wrecked and ruined, heartbroken people.

I think it is possible to be a "carrier" for TB without actually having the disease yourself.

Hmmmm.

You're so right Mrs. Red.

People invest their lives in loving a child who becomes their own, then biomom with a drug habit decides she wants another tax exemption or more food stamps, and rips the child from its HOME.

It's really easy for me to get angry nowadays, especially over stuff like that.

That cat is cute.  Especially when he was turning his head on the keys.
