While I was searching the site for family partnership training, it brought up a section on human trafficking that I didn't even know existed. I thought the link below was interesting in light of Joran's most recent storytelling endeavor.

Gielen richt zich - in tegenstelling tot haar collega's - niet op de rol van Joran van der Sloot. De documentairemaakster doet vooral onderzoek naar de rol van Beth Holloway. "Aan de zaak zit een kant die de wereld drieëneenhalf jaar lang niet gezien heeft", zegt ze tegen het AD.

Natalee braaf

Zo betwist zij dat Natalee het brave 18 jaar oude meisje was, zoals haar moeder de wereld doet geloven, toen zijn in 2005 op Aruba verdween. "Haar verdwijning is een wegloop scenario. Maar dat beeld mocht nooit naar voren komen omdat dat niet paste in de Amerikaanse droom."

Dompig

In haar documentaire, die 'te Amerikaans' was voor de VPRO en 'te duur' voor RTL, komt de voormalig Arubaanse onderzoeksleider Gerold Dompig uitvoerig aan het woord over de beperkingen in zijn onderzoek.

Witte Huis

Dompig uit zijn kritiek over de moeilijk lopende samenwerking met de familie Holloway. Van de FBI zou hij alle ruimte hebben gekregen, maar Beth wilde niet meewerken. De moeder van Natalee zou letterlijk van hem hebben geeist dat wanneer Natalee's lichaam zou worden gevonden, het niet medisch onderzocht mocht worden. Ook had Beth Holloway volgens Dompig banden tot in het Witte huis.

Verslavingen

Volgens de onderzoeksleider wilde de vrouw kost wat kost haar verslavingen verdoezelen. "Als de moeder zich zo had gedragen als de ouders van Marlies van der Kouwe waren er allang antwoorden gekomen."

Gielen hoopt met haar documentaire, die ze nu zelf op DVD uitbrengt en zal verspreiden via Internet, opnieuw 'iets los te maken'.

'Joran onschuldig'

Zelf gelooft Gielen dat de waarheid steeds dichterbij komt. Ze gelooft niet in de schuld van Joran, en evenmin in de rol die zijn vader zou hebben gespeeld.

Obsessie

Please forgive me if these are dumb questions ... I am just trying to understand ...

In the pictures below .. I can definately see how this could be the outline of a body ... no doubt ... but I am wondering after 2 years what would have keep the "skull" in that exact position?  Possibly her hair was tangled in the wire of the cage?  If so, then the hair would still be there to test for DNA or for identification purposes ... right?  If there was no hair, then what kept it from rolling around in the cage? 




As for the picture below ... If this is not a "body" ... what the heck could have been so important in this cage to put in "baggies" for closer examination?  If this is not a "hip socket" does anyone else have any ideas of what it could be or why it would be so important to preserve in a baggie?  TIA for any response ...

That person does not look like the person Greta was talking to in regards to being the teacher in Seattle...I must have misunderstood that person in her interview to be the teacher. Does anyone know?

The way i understand it she will speak with the teacher in Aruba,as well as luke zimmerman in Seattle if i'm correct.Please correct me if i'm wrong..Anyone..

Is the person in Seattle Joran's teacher, also?  I thought Joran named a teacher, the one from ISA, as a person to whom he had told the latest story.  Not sure who is in Seattle but thought it likely to be Joran's friend Luke.

At least we won't have long to wait to find out.
