Yesterday Mason didn't want to let a male juror go, because he said boarding 7 dogs is not a hardship. Now, he's trying to convince a woman that boarding three dogs will be a hardship. He's a moron.

IMO he is just cold and hard hearted and probably mistreated any pets he might have had as a child. Probably never loved anyone in his life other than himself

This panel of 40 are from the homeless shelter?

JP said if they bring in the next 40 they'll have to get through them all so as not to call any of them back tomorrow. I predict they'll run overtime today...

Was Simms giving Casey instructions on how to act?  She showed her crossing her arms in front of her.  Anyone see that?

I still want to know if the state and duhfense can see the potential jurors names.
If they can, I'd be on the lookout for anyone following me.
Does anyone know?

I want to know that, too....

If they could see names, why wouldn't someone have picked-up on the fact that there was a potential juror that
is on the witness list?

I was watching the Former Court TV Channel (don't know the name, lol) and the commentators were discussing if they were the attorneys in this case they would be googling, looking up facebook, twitter, etc. on all these jurors.  I was shocked, and thought that would be the number one reason to get yourself excluded, legally, of course.  If they're admitting to doing that much, I'll bet they would go further such as PI's and whatever else they can do.  Scary, IMO

I agree. Jeremy Lyons is probably busy snooping on all of those people that have been asked to come back for round 2.
If any of them gets any strange phone calls,
we'll hopefully find out.

haha..They're finishing the last batch...court will be extended.
Hope Bozo's going to his his fav. tv shows.

Wouldn't that be considered jury tampering? Can't possibly be legal for a defense team to harrass a potential juror...I would think.

Go figure.

Looks like the day is going long

How many feel that we'll see round 3 of Casey's "upset?"    If we see it a third time on cue, it will be extremely telling what her intent is...my opinion we'll see another raction

I am pretty sure Simms and Tupperware lady are giving ICA instructions on when to cry and how to act when JP starts reading the charges and giving instructions to the next panel of 40.

this might be a good time to share email I received in response to a question I asked. Both Brad Conway and Mark Nejame said they think KC will take the stand. I emailed an attorney friend who follows the case closely and here's his reply.  I said why would she take the stand as Jeff Ashton would tear her to shreds

"Of course, she will be torn up when she takes the stand. However, her lies will come out regardless. It is inescapable that with the death band on the hair, the personal belongings of Caylee surrounding her at her grave site, etc. that it will be proven that she was with Caylee at the child's death. She needs to be able to explain the lies and the connection to her and the child. The best defense: Caylee died accidentally and she was fearful of the retaliation she would experience from her parents if she told them so she lied repeatedly to cover it it. That way whenever she is cross examined she will, like a mantra, repeat over and over...
"I lied because I was fearful of ..."
A protester or so was added to the defense witness list. What relevance do they have other than to show and corroborate George's purported violence that she will describe and presumably lie about to cover? Casey attempted to keep her parents out of the courtroom during the trial. Why? Because the defense was developing such a theory. Moreover, Casey's narcissism allows her to believe she can convince everyone of anything. The smart move will be for her to take the stand. Remember, Baez has said that in the first 3 minutes he will shock the world with what really happened.
They may not have her take the stand, but the smart tactical move would be to have her do so.

Thanks Sunny for that info.  It maybe her best move to take the stand and put another story out there other then the Nanny..but I still feel that with all the evidence and other lies no one will believe her.  That may save her from the DP..but I still believe she will get LWOP.

Thank you!  It's all on there.

So....WHY didn't any member of the defense team "recognize" that woman's name - she on the witness list!!

IMHO, it would be wise to get a pool of approx 120-130, beyond hardship they have to get thru pretrial publicity, predetermined opinion, qualification for DP.   For either of the latter reasons they could drop quickly & each side has 10 peremptory challenges (totaling 20 dismissals right there).
