RUMORS OF BREAKING NEWS # 6

From every interview I have seen (including Dash's) Joran was at the HI gambling for a few days before BUT that Natalee and he did not "couple up" (again...may be a bad term) until that day of the night she went missing. My take on that is that Joran likes to gamble (duh) and I am sure if you talked to other girls on the trip, he was trolling to find one he liked.

Exactly!  And he was also hanging around the hotel (pool etc) the day before +/-.

I certainly got the sense (from tracking the story like we all have) that he was a "playa" and was "scoping out" the chicks.  Now I will bite my tongue so as not to say anything derogatory...

I have no doubt thats the way he was.

no, I am just monitoring at least 5 sites plus listening to the baseball game and can't be everywhere at the same time......

alot of young ladies are like their mothers....and after seeing her mother's strength and classyness (classiness??? is that a word??)...and hearing the way she talks and carries herself...I just know that Natalee is similar....Probably has a similar voice also.  Mrs. Twitty seems to be soft spoken...but when she talks...you are captivated...and you listen...Natalee is probably just like that!

I wonder if she had even met the brothers before that last night......I guess I assumed that she had met him before.  Has anybody said if Joran was alone in the casino??

I don't know that anything has ever actually been reported on this, but I noticed that no one ever mentions the brothers when they talk about Joran and his contact with Nat and her group.  Leads me to believe that she or her group had not met them at all.

You know what I think attracted her to him? His accent. Women can be suckers for certain accents.

Personally, I go for the Scottish, South African or Ozzie accent. You just can't help it.

But perhaps she wasn't ever even attracted to him.  Maybe he was just hanging around.  According to the mother of a student on the trip, they didn't really, as someone said, "couple up".  Even when they were leaving that night, Natalie pointed to the group of friends who left at the same time and said she was going "with them" back to the Holiday Inn.  No one was concerned when they saw her drive down the street with Dutch boy b/c the car looked like a regular taxi.

Which goes back to something I brought up the other day.  As far as I know, nobody noticed Deepak and Tupac in C&C earlier that night.  I'm thinking maybe Jaron text messaged them to pick him up.  It's possible Natalee thought it was a taxi when she was getting in.

This is beginning to sound like the brothers were Jaron's personal taxi service.  Not in C&C, but just happen to pull up when the 2 were leaving;
transports them here, then there.  Hmmmm . .

That is exactly what Dash's mother said in her post a few days back.  The friends didn't think anything of Natalee riding off in a car.  She had just said she was going with them (them being the group of friends) back to the hotel, and taxis apparently look just like regular cars.  So I wish stupid people (not any of you, of course) would stop asking why her friends didn't stop her!

Agreed. I have been saying that for awhile. I am leaning more towards either Joran hadn't know them long or they weren't "best friends".

I still believe that from the pictures I saw Joran had a pretty tight group of friends and I didn't see that the brothers showed up in pictures until recently.

I would be interested to find out when they moved to Aruba and started working etc.

I am encouraged to hear that they detained another suspect today, and that there may be others.

This could mean someone is holding her - someone was was going to kidnap her, ransom, something with her, and then they got cold feet.

Round 'em all up!!!!   And then, Danish interrogators for them all.
