Hi y'all. I'm back! I actually did a little work. Ha! Emphasis little. Been trying to catch up but puullleez, that's impossible. In skimming noticed a few things to comment on:

1. They are searching other islands/countries for Natalee. That came out early in the investigation. I don't think venezuela is being too cooperative though. If you've been following what's been going on there for about a year, you'll know it's authorities are only friendly to people like Fidel Castro.

2. Something to consider: There are about 7 FBI, 2 Miami Dade search and rescue with dogs on Aruba. But there are also DEA agents on Aruba and throughout the region. they said they came almost immediately from South american assignments to help with this. I also have to wonder whether CIA is snooping around everywhere, too. Let's hope so.

3. And Santa Lucia/Ayo is on Aruba. St. Lucia is a separate island. Ayo is smack in the center of Aruba (like I said before -- if the 3 boys said they were on the coast, that probably meant they were inland).

4.  Didn't Tom or Red say this afternoon they had big news for us tonight? Did I miss the announcement? I saw the post about Tom going on the radio tomorrow, but what was Red's news?

You know what makes me sad?  The fact that this happened first of all....but secondly...the fact that last night they were featuring another class trip to Aruba on the news.  Some of the students didn't seem to o concerned about sticking together.  Don't get me wrong; it doesn't matter where it happened because this scene could very well have taken place anywhere in the world.  However, I would hope that some of these young ladies would be a bit more cautious and not take the situation so lightly.  I think that it's very important that these young people look out for one another.  These are scary times....in the entire world....

Me either, maybe they have and just have not told us yet.  THey can def. keep things to themselves, but I was serious we need to email fox, and thank them for keeping up with the case, and to also thank Greata and Bill.  That way other stations will get whim of Fox having better ratings and all than them.   Then hopefully other news stations will get more involved!

I may be cynical, but I think Fox is looking for stories like this so they don't have to report on things like the quagmire in Iraq, the Downing Street Minutes, Bush's all-time low approval ratings, $7.7 trillion debt, etc.

Anyway, whatever the reason, I'm glad they've spent so much time on this case!

This is the timeline of the missing Amy Bradley case. Looks like this family did not get nearly the cooperation/assistance Nat's family is getting. Let's hope their search timeline turns out to be much shorter than this.

That's exactly what I was thinking too.  What does a 17 year old need with an apartment?  VDS did say that the brothers dropped him off at his house after they went to the lighthouse.  He might have been telling the truth but just forgot to say that Natalee was dropped off there too.

It's on the property next to the house.  The should have checked it for evidence when they had VDS the first time.

Or checking out the distance between the international school (and taking a look at what it looks like - are woods in existance behind school) and that sort of thing while there?
