Before a whole country is being condemend (ahum, again), perhaps Venezuelans have other stuff to write about, like their crazy president Chavez seeming hell bent on destroying their country, not to mention the weekly kidnaps and murders that occur there.
I'm not saying that this is not an important story to the U.S. and Aruba, but unless some clear evidence surfaces that Venezuela was involved, I don't think people there are going to worry about the fate of one American girl, why there are so many problems affecting their own people.

    I don't know what you do for a living, but you could probably be hugely successful reporting and commenting on the news. You're certainly outclassing most of the so-called major media.

Out of school for a month!!!!!  So excited now I can be lazy and watch the case.  Did I hear more arrests were made?  Is there any truth to it?  The police?  I should have given them a little more credit.  I hear the FBI is FINALLY involved.....did I miss anything today.....(dont feel like getting behind by reading 1000 posts.

That pretty much sums it up.  There was an arrest in Aruba today, but no confirmation if it involved the Natalee Holloway case.

Hi Aruba Girl - I totally realize that but this is a world wide story - and it just seems strange to me that in all of this they said NOTHING.

I think she's probably right.  I'm not sure that the US spends much time on the missing in Mexico that come from other countries, or missing in Canada from other countries.

    That's good that the FBI interviewed them. Do you know when this took place? The element of time would be critical.
