OMG! Someone came in and totally trashed my bedroom last night!!! I flopped out of bed into a huge pile of shoes and am sitting on a pile of clothes as I type! My closet's almost empty and I can't find my dog, but the heap on my bed is moving...............  Shocked Shocked

 Laughing Laughing

I'm going to get ready for work.............maybe the "clean up" fairy is just running late. 'Course she could have gotten one look at this room and decided to run for her life!

Good Morning CBB!  Too funny!

I HATE cleaning out closets!

Good morning CBB.   Just hop off on to work and close the worry about your room out of your mind.  It won't help stressing about it all day long.   flower

There was an article in todays New York Post about John Q. Kelly.

http://tinyurl.com/yo2g5e

LAWYER ONCE SHOWED GRID GREAT FOR THE COWARD HE IS

By STEVE DUNLEAVY

September 19, 2007 -- NEW YORK lawyer John Q. Kelly is one of the few men on earth who's wiped the sneer off O.J. Simpson's face.

"He can beat women, he can threaten anyone when he's got his back up, but the truth is he's a sheep in wolf's clothing," Kelly told me.

And he should know.

I saw him reduce Simpson to a twitchy, neurotic wreck at the civil trial, in which he was found liable for the slaughters of Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman.

Now, Simpson is brushing off the gun-toting thuggery that occurred in Las Vegas Thursday as a simple "sting operation." Pure arrogance from a coward.

But during the civil trial in 1996, attorney Kelly, on behalf of Nicole's parents, set up Simpson in his own sting.

Cops had been to the Simpson house in the Brentwood section of Los Angeles eight times, but Simpson's celebrity and b.s. charm left him skating.

Kelly managed to nail him for assaulting Nicole by being just as slinky.

First he asked him point-blank whether he ever beat her up on a particular New Year's Eve. Simpson: "No, that's not true."

But Kelly had more up his sleeves than his arms. Earlier he had gotten a deposition from O.J. Simpson's best friend, A.J. Cowlings.

"I had [Cowlings] reluctantly tell me that [Simpson] took Nicole to a hospital in a state of extreme physical injury, a swollen eye, a badly bruised head which ended in violent hair pulling that Nicole said was inflicted on her when she called the cops after other abusive tactics. But I put Cowlings on the stand after Simpson's denial of abuse, which he did under oath," said Kelly.

Simpson fumed, completely impotent, caught by a legal sting with no posse to back him up, no golf club to hit someone with and just a smart lawyer to outfox him.

Simpson told Kelly that Nicole wanted to get back together with him at the time.

Simpson: "So I imagine that by her actions, it hurt her a little bit, yes."

Kelly: "Well you murdered her on June 12, didn't you, Mr. Simpson?"

Simpson: "That's absolutely false."

And he was wiggling like a worm on a hook.

Kelly: "And you murdered Ron Goldman?"

Simpson: "That's absolutely wrong."

By then, Simpson was almost apoplectic with anger. As someone who had covered the story from the grisly murder to the second he was found liable in the civil trial, it was a beautiful moment to see him fume and stumble.

Let's hope we see it again soon.

Miramar pornographer charged with drugging, raping woman on camera

Emerson Callum (September 19, 2007)

By Brian Haas | South Florida Sun-Sentinel
September 19, 2007
The owner of a Miramar pornography business was arrested Tuesday on charges of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman on camera. And it isn't the first time a woman said she was assaulted at that address, authorities said.

Emerson D. Callum, owner of Miami Vibes Inc. in Miramar, was being held without bail on two counts of sexual battery involving someone who was incapacitated, and single counts of delivery of a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit sexual battery. Callum, 41, of Miami, is the second person to be arrested on such charges in connection with the warehouse at 3590 S. State Road 7.

A woman became incapacitated after being given alcohol that contained alprazolam, an anti-anxiety medication that can intensify the effects of alcohol, said Paige Patterson-Hughes, spokeswoman for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. She said the woman was then assaulted at Miami Vibes Inc. while another man videotaped.

The woman was able to write down the license plate of her attacker before she passed out, Patterson-Hughes said. She said the woman called police once she woke up and investigators were able to find DNA evidence that matched Callum.

Miami Vibes Inc. incorporated in 2005, state records show. It produces "amateur"-themed pornography videos and material for a Web site with titles like "Miami's Nastiest Nymphos."

Several women told investigators they were attacked at that address.

Miramar police on July 13 arrested a former Miami Beach police officer on charges he drugged and assaulted two women at that same address after tricking them into thinking they would be paid for modeling. Lavont Flanders, 36, is still in jail awaiting trial.

Patterson-Hughes said that authorities believe Flanders and Callum are connected, but weren't sure how, beyond the location and similarities in what victims told detectives.

"We've had more than two-dozen other callers and potential victims come forward and say something similar may have happened," she said. "We certainly are concerned that there could be more victims."

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477, FDLE Special Agent Maggie Bonilla at 305-470-5500 or Miramar police at 954-602-4000.

Staff Researcher Barbara Hijek contributed to this report.

I have a Dugga question...if he's still here.  Well, if he's not maybe he will see this...apologies if it's in the wrong thread.

Why would computers forget their IP addy?  Do they have to get new ones each time you log on to the internet or do they keep a certain one each time?  Does the internet provider change them?

Another Dugga question - Can you please tell me what the heck the TCP accelerator is on my system?  Have a dish and this has been going down for about a week between 4AM and 10AM, like every other day, then no problems the rest of the day.  Is this at their end or mine?  Just got a postcard yesterday to upgrade modem even though mine is not that old.  Beginning to think this is designed to encourage me to sign a new 2 year contract Mad  TIA

Dugga ... If you see this, your help would be greatly appreciated.  TIA

Brick school installs sex offender security system

Play the video (09/18/07) BRICK TOWNSHIP - Visitors entering a Catholic elementary school in Brick Township must now provide a fingerprint or driver’s license and answer the question, “Are you a sex offender?”

The procedure is part of a new security system at St. Dominic School on Van Zile Road. All visitors must answer the question at the computer check-in at the school’s front office and give their driver’s license to the attendant. Regular visitors can opt to give a fingerprint instead of a license.

The license or fingerprint is scanned into the system, where it is compared to the National Sex Offender Registry. Attendants say if a visitor lies and is in fact an offender, they must call police immediately.

Many parents say they don’t mind the extra procedures.

The system cost the school approximately $1,500 with a $95 annual subscription fee.

I hope the judge continues with the no bail or makes it so high none of OJ's friends will be willing to cough up the money.

I was watching but my husband just changed the channel  Wink

Personally, I hope he doesn't get bail...he disgusts me.

Actually, OJ may just be narcissistic enough to think he will get away this time too.  These sociopathic nuts have such a different mindset that they think nothing is beyond their control.  I would not put it past him this time too.  Personally, I would love to see him run and see what happens to his.... er, well...better not say it here...I would be in my own book.
