Hey guys...If, and I know it's a big one, but if Dr. lee has 3 or 17 hairs without the death band, can't they be from Caylee being left in the trunk with pizza, and ham and cheese, before mommy killed her? 

I would not count that out as a possibility ... What I do doubt is that Dr. Lee found 3 or 17 hairs in that trunk after LE had already vacuumed it.

Well, when you spend as much time in the truck as Caylee, your hair is bound to get into the funniest places.

If I was the prosecution - even if they have 100 hairs - it only takes one dead caylee hair - she is no less or no more dead with one, than 17!

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A criminal defense expert told WESH 2 News Monday that new evidence released by the state in the case against Casey Anthony is further proof there was no baby sitter named Zenaida Gonzalez.

Gonzalez is suing Casey Anthony for defamation, saying that by naming her as the nanny who kidnapped her daughter Caylee, it destroyed Gonzalez's name.

A defense expert also said Jose Baez, Casey Anthony's attorney, is painting himself and his client into a corner by saying she is "innocent" rather than "not guilty."

Casey Anthony text messaged and made cell phone calls frequently. That's why a legal expert said it's damaging to her alibi that she had no record of phone calls or text messages to anyone named Zenaida or Zanny.

In the month-long period between the time Caylee was last seen and her disappearance reported to police, an analysis of Casey Anthony's cell phone by investigators turned up this fact: Not once did Casey Anthony make a call or receive one from someone named Zenaida Gonzalez. That critical piece of information is included in the state's most recent evidence release.

Criminal defense attorney Richard Hornsby said that fact will make it more difficult to convince a jury that a baby sitter named Zenaida Gonzalez or Zanny took Caylee. In addition, no one in Casey Anthony's family recalls seeing this woman.

"When you say my client's innocent, you're assuming a burden that you're going to show a jury why she's innocent," Hornsby said.

With the amount of evidence against Casey Anthony, Hornsby said Baez should concentrate on creating enough reasonable doubt for a "not guilty" verdict.

Baez has not yet shown his cards on exactly what his defense will be. However, he has shown that his defense team found 17 hairs in Casey Anthony's car the state did not find.

Baez and Casey Anthony's defense team -- particularly how she is funding such a legal dream team -- has been under a lot of scrutiny since the investigation began.

Earlier this month, Casey Anthony and Baez admitted entering in to a retainer agreement.

In evidence released last Friday, her grandmother told investigators that Casey Anthony made as much as $45,000 in unauthorized charges on her parents account.

She's also facing more than a dozen felony counts of stealing money from her friend in July.

In a sworn affidavit, criminal defense expert Hornsby said Casey Anthony revealed she "signed and executed a retainer agreement" with Baez. That means she hired him, paying up front for his services. That raises questions about where she got the money.

In papers filed this month Baez said his retainer with Casey Anthony does not allow him financial gain based on selling the rights to her story. In her own sworn statement Casey Anthony said that agreement also does not give Baez any right to sell Caylee's story.

Prosecutors have a pending motion before Judge Stan Strickland asking him to inquire where the money is coming from.

Their fear is that some deal that was done to fund Casey Anthony's defense could lead to the case being overturned on appeal.

Meanwhile, a pair of private eyes who at one time worked for George and Cindy Anthony are scheduled to give depositions this week in the Gonzalez civil suit.

On Wednesday, James Hoover and Dominic Casey are due to give sworn testimony at the offices of Gonzalez's lawyers.

At one time both detectives were helping the Anthonys follow up on live sightings of Caylee Anthony.

Caylee's remains were found Dec. 11 in a wooded area off of Suburban Drive near the Anthony family home. Her mother, Casey Anthony, is being held at the Orange County Jail, charged with murder in her daughter's disappearance.

Casey was also at the center of a controversy about conducting multiple searches in the wooded area along Suburban drive before Caylee's remains were found.

He claims he was following up on information from a psychic. Gonzalez is suing for defamation, saying Casey Anthony's false claims damaged her good name and ability to support her family.

A new witness list in the case was also released Monday.

Sources told WESH 2 that new list is 15 pages long and contains around 250 names of those who could be called to testify against Casey Anthony.

Since Baez will most certainly not allow Casey to take the stand to testify it's going to be difficult to get the Zanny the Nanny story in.  Since what she has told people about it is hearsay, the opportunity to get that defense in is tricky.  People can only testify to what they know, not what they have been told by someone else, in this case Casey Anthony.  If Baez goes with this defense he will, of course, go into it in his opening statement, but an attorney's opening statement is not testimony and the judge will advise the jury of this in his instructions.   Baez will have to have some kind of sworn testimony from someone to back up his assertions. And as far as is known, no one ever saw or spoke with "Her" Zenaida Gonzales.  It will be interesting to say the least. If the jury is told as much about Lee as we know, his testimony can be disregarded and of course the prosecution will try to get in as much of the information about his recent dubious actions as possible.  I personally think his "17 hairs" are figments of his imagination and that is putting it kindly.  Even members of Spector's defense team testified that they saw Lee put the fingernail in his pocket.  His reputation is pretty well shot. IMO Baez is in 'way over his head and I can't see that Linda Baden is helping him much.  Her attitude toward the court is condescending and her comment about "Educating the judge" was quite insulting.  Strickland likely knows about it.  Judges are only human.

The bounty hunter who loves to talk will have to wait to be interviewed under oath in Casey Anthony's defamation case.

Leonard Padilla said he'll be questioned under oath for the civil case in May after her parents are interviewed by attorneys.

Padilla was going to be questioned on Wednesday – an interview scheduled months ago by attorneys for Zenaida Gonzalez, the 38-year-old Kissimmee woman suing Casey Anthony.

He said he's not fighting the deposition but attorneys wanted to talk to him after they speak with Casey Anthony's parents, George Anthony and Cindy Anthony. Their depositions are set for next month at the office of Morgan & Morgan law firm.

TV Guy Hal Boedeker's commentary on the Casey Anthony case coverage Later this week, private investigators Dominic Casey and Jim Hoover are scheduled to be questioned at the law office.

Gonzalez is suing Casey Anthony for more than $15,000 in damages.

She claims she lost her job and suffered humiliation and public embarrassment after Casey Anthony told investigators that a baby sitter by the same name took her 2-year-old child Caylee Marie, who was found dead six months later in December.

Casey Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in the case.

Lots of talk about why she called the bank weather line - wasn't the hurricane moving in?  Perhaps she wanted to know Caylee would be under water and she would not be found, thus she could party or less likely, she wanted to see how much time she had to move the body to a more appropriate burial.

Hope Desi and Capp are better by the time I catch up here.  If any of this has been said here in the new cage, forgive me.  Just had to get those thoughts off my mind!

I am in shock I guess that Cindy did not rid herself of George after she found him to of been stealing from her as well.  I know they were "separated" for a time, but why did Control Freak allow him back?  And why in the hell would he want to come back to that life?

Dolce, maybe it wasn't George that was stealing, Maybe George left because Cindy kept bailing out KC. Maybe, anyone?

George did tell detectives that he left in a separation from Cindy right after Caylee was born "issues that were difficult" I cant remember the quote verbatim at the moment.  He went to Fort Myers for a period of time. 

Mommy Plesea stated in the recent doc dumps that George was taking credit cards out in Cindy's name...that is what I meant.

Northwest Florida Operation Nets 3 Men for Soliciting "Children" Online or Possessing Child Pornography

SANTA ROSA COUNTY, FL – A joint agency operation has resulted in the arrest of three men on charges they either possessed child pornography or used the internet to sexually solicit individuals they believed were children, when they were actually chatting with undercover CyberCrime investigators. The operation was coordinated by Attorney General Bill McCollum’s CyberCrime Unit.

“Cooperative efforts are the best way to address this statewide threat to our children,” said Attorney General McCollum.

Arrested during the operation were the following individuals:

Hatch, Jason; 23; Milton, FL; unemployed; charged with two counts of possession of child pornography; booked into the Santa Rosa County Jail;

Misleh, Joseph; 56; Mary Esther, FL; lawn care worker; charged with online solicitation of a minor, traveling to meet a minor for a sexual encounter; booked into the Okaloosa County Jail;

Girard, David; 53; Robertsdale, AL; unemployed; charged with online solicitation of a minor, attempted lewd and lascivious battery; booked into the Santa Rosa County Jail.

“Joint operations like this make a clear statement that preying on children will not be tolerated in our community,” said Santa Rosa Sheriff Wendall Hall. “The internet will be patrolled, just as we patrol our neighborhoods.”

Over the course of the operation, 11 search warrants were served in Okaloosa, Escambia, and Santa Rosa counties.

“Our police department was happy to be working cooperatively with all these agencies, making a difference and protecting our children,” said Pensacola Assistant Police Chief Chip Simmons.

The agencies involved in the operation included the Attorney General’s CyberCrime Unit, the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office, the Pensacola Police Department, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, the U.S. Office of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the U.S. Marshal’s Service, the Gulf Breeze Police Department, the Milton Police Department, the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Florida, the State Attorney’s Office for the First Judicial Circuit, the Fort Walton Beach Police Department, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the Pensacola Junior College Police Department, the U.S. Naval Criminal Investigative Services (NCIS), and the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.

Numerous criminal investigations are ongoing.

Will they try to say someone else did it?  Ricardo?  Jesse?  If so, how will they explain how Caylee got out of KC's possession?  How does she explain not having her daughter for 30 days.

I think that they cannot even put up a scenario where someone else did it.  All they can do is try to elicit enough reasonable doubt that KC did it.  They do not even have to say anyone did it, only that KC didn't.  Then they have to pray!

Thanks Darla~actually I need prayers in a huge way right now ASAP...She is having frequent contractions, he is thru the cervix to his hips now (still in the bag), but they think she may be getting an infection because her fever is rising, so they have set up for a possible delivery and the neonatologist is here waiting just as a precaution, but to further complicate things, he is coming feet first and if he's not delivered quickly enough, the cord will be compressed and his oxygen flow could be cut off, or his head could get stuck......prayers please~we need them bad!
