Starwynn, did Billie say that Shawn showed her & she told him to put it away & they put it in her drawer...bc I haven't heard that in the interview yet and I'm almost to 30 minutes in. Please refer to my last post as I actually transcribed that part word for word, including the minute markers.

I believe that she's talking about "them" not "him" when she says she saw it.  The way it sounded, it sounded like HE showed it to her.  The transcript says they did.  That's a relief, in a way.  Though I still don't believe her, that made things less immediately horrifying.

Ok, so what I gather Billie was saying is that she was trying to stick by Shawn, but since last weekend she's not been with him. She has spoken with him,, though, and I'd like to know WHY DAMNIT! She doesn't wanna be with him "unless" it's proven "100%" that he's not guilty of this crap. WTF? I'm confused? Starwyn, did you listen to this again? I did and am now shutting it off. I can't take it anymore. She didn't cry, not a single iota, until they started talking about Shawn. Why?

Could it be bc she knows deep down if Shawn has something to do with Hailey's disappearance and this kiddie porn, porn, & bestiality that maybe Billie's to be partially blamed for bringing this monster into her home knowing her kids were NOT comfortable around him? Is she blaming herself? Or is it fear of jailtime?

I'll listen again in the morning with a good night's sleep behind me. I'm seriously wondering if she's being sincere or feeling sorry for herself bc she;s done so many things wrong.

Which brings me to something else, why did those blog talk people tell Billie she's done nothing wrong, she's not to blame for this? Doesn't one of them say she used to be a cop? If so, she should know better than to make a comment like that. I like how they interview, though, bc they kept her talking...in her comfort zone without shutting down. They're not mainstream professionals, but at least they kept her talking.

I really couldn't listen to it again.  She disgusts me.  I'll read the transcript, to make sure exactly what was said because it's the right thing to do. 

And you know, Titch, I wondered about the "it's not your fault" thing, too.  Wow.  I just won't listen to their show again.  I can't believe that they are that "ok" with just everything.  They did at least press her with some hard questions.  It was like listening to bad cop/good cop.  But still...  I'm beginning to dislike journalism, even if it does get answers to those of us who are wanting them.

Of course, both are innocent until proven guilty.... but since you asked, my own personal feelings as a non-professional "Joe Schmoe" goes between him doing it (the stronger of the two feelings) to her doing it.  The one thing that keeps me thinking about the possibility of her doing it, well two things, are where she talked hypothetically about Hailey having to be forced into the car, and the rumors about her choking Hailey in an argument near Christmas time.  Well, that and I still can't come to grips completely with someone staying with a boyfriend who possibly killed her daughter. 

Just opinions with no more weight than opinions hold.

I am new here and this is my first post. I am very honored to be granted access to the forum. I have followed the posts since the disappearance of Hailey and like Flutter1, I am an adult survivor of sexual abuse as a child. I too was horror-struck when I read how Hailey had expressed fear of Shawn and confided that he would watch her from the bathroom and open her door to stare at her during the night. It makes me furious that no one intervened in her behalf before it was too late. IMO, Shawn molested Hailey and I feel it started before her disappearance.  Hailey's eyes look troubled in her Christmas picture (IMO) and I also noted how she positioned her knees to carefully close her legs; body language means more than words in many instances. I have often seen this stance in children that have been molested. I have worked with crime victims and in the field of Criminal Justice for numerous years. Currently, I am pursuing my graduate degree in counseling in order to work with survivors of sexual crimes. There is not a crime more heinous than the molestation of a child. In instances of the abuse happening within a family unit or by a known abuser, the child is frequently watched then groomed before the actual molestation. There are usually many warning signs prior to the actual molestation if someone will open their eyes and notice. In Hailey’s case, most of the adults surrounding her were in a drug induced euphoria thus rendering them incapable of making rational decisions concerning the safety of this child. Hailey’s case is a colossal tragedy and I cannot help but feel that everyone around her from family to teachers was blind to her terrifying plight. IMO, it is not only the perpetrator that is guilty but a level of guilt has to be also ascertained to anyone that is aware of a potentially dangerous situation (the abnormal fascination with porn including child pornography; bestiality; and true crime stories in addition to very graphic and disturbing penance for making violent video's) and consciously decides to do nothing. I pray for a miracle in Hailey’s case but everyday that goes by without a resolution makes my heart grow with fear for what may have transpired to Hailey. I pray the truth will be revealed and justice for Hailey obtained. My heart aches for the obvious pain and heartbreak in her father’s eyes and her paternal family is in my prayers.  I cannot believe that BD did not realize the potential that SA had for violence. I believe she made her choice regardless of the consequences to her children. Sadly, Drugs and SA came before her obligations as a mother to protect her children from potential harm. I do hope that in the future, if a child ever expresses a concern that an adult makes them feel frightened or if anyone notices signs that a child is in trouble that they will remember Hailey and act before it is too late. We cannot regretfully change the past for Hailey but by God’s grace we can all work to prevent it ever happening again. Let the ellipsis HopeforHailey become the battle cry for the prevention of child molestation everywhere. I pray every parent, grandparent, and citizen will open their eyes to the silent cries of a child and we can start being proactive in the prevention of senseless tragedies rather than retroactive.

Also we now know Clint DID call CPS on her for th silver nitrate tat's and she admitted she calle CPS on his for other reasons ..plural!

Another issue is the snarky attitude about donations......boy, she sure didn't like that question did she Also her best defender Courtney aka CZ told everyone that her brother bought the car for David yet she just stated she used some of the donations for the red sports car, I guess Courtney needs to give her another typed script to follow so they don't contradict each other.

Billie: Well, I take that back. They were, and then they were...they quickly dismissed everything. Um ...Clint was upset because David marked on himself with ..something I had brought home from the hospital in my pocket , and It’s like, it looks like a matchstick but it’ll stain your skin. Billie: They only interviewed her . .once I believe. Once or maybe twice.

R: Do you know where Hailey is?

Billie: No. I sure wish I did. ......She’s my daughter......I just need my daughter home. I mean I...get really tired of people running their mouth the way that they do. She’s my daughter, she’s not ...we all care about missing children and we all owe it to missing children to care about ‘em to look for them but she’s MY daughter, I want her home . I didn’t get enough years with her. I want somebody to find my daughter I can’t do it by myself and I just want everybody to be looking for her. I want investigators to find her, I want her found.
 

R: Do you think Shawn might know where hailey is?

Billie: Um. ... ? I?.. ..?I’d have never ? believed that but I don’t really know. I don’t know anything anymore. I hope not. I didn’t see it in him, but maybe there’s a lot of things I didn’t know about him.

R: What makes you say that now?

Billie: Um, because of the computer and I don’t know who looked at that and who did not. And until that’s proved to me I cant risk believing ...anything he says. I know they’ll be able to find out who looked at it, whenever dates and times come back .

R: Do you know of any reason why Shawn would hurt Hailey?

Billie: Um, no. They, they had been getting along.... But I can’t see why anybody would want to hurt her.

R: Do you believe what the police are telling you about Shawn?

Billie: Ah, yeah I do now.

R: can you tell us what the police are telling you about Shawn?

Billie: Oh, well, they just tell me their theories. Why he was named a suspect. Um,just you know he was the last person to see her. He had about an hour alone with her before my son and his friend got here. Um, he quit his job Monday. So it’s, it’s things like that.

R: Ok I’m going to ask you a really hard question. Are you sure nothing happened in that house between Shawn and Hailey?

Billie: um..... I’m not 100% sure anymore. I know nothing was found here but I’m still not 100% sure. A lot of my feelings have changed just since this weekend. I’ve really been standing behind him and believing that he’s the person I always knew he was but I just have a little bit of doubt now and you’ve gotta...I don’t know, if there is some doubt there..how you stand behind him.

But the maddest I have ever been was the question was asked about this.....

The host asked her what she would say to Shawn if Billie found out he killed her daughter?

Billie's response was "How could you do that to ME". ARE YOU KIDDING ME YOU FREAK???????? What about Hailey.

And notice how everything from the house to Hailey is expressed as "MY" fill in the blank, BUT......when she mentions the dresser where the flash drive was found, all of the sudden it is Shawn's and for once not Billie's possesion? Why {ok, that as rhetorical}





Then she mentions that  Hailey was the only baby she EVER WANTED......wow, I sure hope David doesn't hear this.

Also she only thanks the searchers that find nothing........another WTF moment, they don't control what happened to Hailey, what is done is done. I did read again as I heard a month ago that only 2 searchers were at the civic center searching are from Ccity, totally verifies the locals know what happened and while it isn't Hailey's fault, they aren't looking : (

My husband and I BOTH listened to Billie on Blogtalk Radio tonight.
After about 30 min. my husband  asked me if that was the woman
who can't find her 13 year old daughter, because she talked like a MORON !

She slammed her son when she said that Hailey was the ONLY baby
that she wanted ?

Doesn't everyone paint ? Geez !

They coddled her like a newborn on that show, and I was unhappy with MOST of her answers.
The memory stick was found in Shawn's dresser ? I thought LE said it was confiscated from her
dresser drawer. She acted IMO so helpless and played stupid and naive. I loved the
commenting about the Grand Jury the best ! Is she low IQ or just playing stupid, or is she
BOTH !

What would she say to Shawn if she finds out that HE hurt Haleiy ??? HOW COULD U DO THAT TO ME ?? ME ??
I am very disgusted with her and thought she was in Satsuma, NOT Texas ! I also heard the bus driving down the road towards Shawn's house during the entire interview. Way to go Pillbillie !

IM   I cant even find the words tonight as my head is still reeling.   Briefly, I'm heartbroken for David...Im sick of the lies, this case out of hundreds thru the years has been one of those that have hit me to my core much as recent ones have Caylee, Haleigh, Sandra, Zahra...too many, way too many.

I listened to pretrial hearings for Casey Anthony all day & then the blogtalkradio interview with Billie so my head is ready to explode 

Tomorrow I'll probably process what I heard tonight & express a few thoughts.  We'll really be ready to jump thru the computer tomorrow night if Shawn actually shows up for his interview (posted above).

If its any consolation, I have a strong sense that something is going to break this case wide open soon.   

For now Im going to say good-nite, because tomorrow is another early rise.   Sweet dreams monkeys

In reference to BD's childlike behaviors noted in her interview's. BD suffers (IMO) from a border personality disorder; it is most often diagnosed in females and is the counterpart of an anti social personality that SA (IMO) suffers from. Borderlines often "know" intellectually that which they do not "know" emotionally. There is often a crack between "adult-like" and age-appropriate intelligence and "child-like" and age-inappropriate emotionally-motivated behavior.  The fact that the two of them made an allegiance is reminiscent of a Bonnie and Clyde persona.(IMO)
