There's a good idea.  I couldn't sleep last night because I went to bed right after reading all the stuff about the computers/memory stick.  I spent the day gardening to get it out of my head, but it didn't really work.  I remember in Zahra's case, I kept thinking "well this is the worst - surely it can't get worse" and even just this WEEK it got STILL worse.  I'm so afraid that's going to happen again with this case.     I might go out and meditate by my incoming garden and clear my heart of all the anger and, sorry to say it, hatred that the latest news has filled it with.  Then again, at least I know I'm not along in being sickened.  It makes me remember there's still hope in the world - thanks Monkeys!

Poor Hailey - did she ever have a chance?  Does she now?  Where is Hailey?

I do not know what is taking so long for law enforcement to preceed with arrests but ... behind the scenes it appears that investigators have been building a case with electronic and communication records since early.

Considering Billie insists on distancing Shawn ... it is investigators who will be forced to connect all the dots.

It is indeed very sad.
It is more sad that such a high # of these people
are clones of their childhood environment.

I had stated previously that our gov't. needs to spend $$
on educating these offenders, and break the cycle. In the end
I feel that would be less costly than housing these types for years.

So sad...Billie's Mother is in jail, and she will probably share the same local hotel with her.

This is why I constantly beat into Clint's head to get help, get straight before it is too late. He still has time to turn his life around,
and be an example for David and the new baby girl.

Klaas, if Billie did have knowledge (which I think she did) of this crap, doesn't it appear as though she took bits and pieces of certain murder mysteries and was just filling in the gaps, changing stories, as she went along?

I have a feeling she didn;t anticipate le getting that computer as fast as they did...and then to obtain a warrant to confiscate items of technology hidden at Billie's house AND for le to be able to find those items in such a quick time after they'd been hidden - I betcha she was thrown through a loop!

Some people may have been down on the police in the beginning, myself included...now I'm wondering if there was a method to their madness. I knew they had info they weren't releasing. I personally don't think this info would have been released as of yet if the media hadn't gotten it the way they did.

I think Billie and Shawn and others like them THINK they are smarter than LE.

While Dunn admits Adkins was the one who brought over the memory stick that was confiscated, she says she's still in the dark about what is happening.

"I haven't gotten to talk to investigators, to find out what it is."

Still, for the mother of the missing teen, these reports are a lot to take in.

"You just don't want to be associated with that stuff [alleged child pornography and bestiality]."

Starwynn:  I find gardening very therapeutic too. Do you  take your frustrations out on pulling weeds too? I remember pulling weeds for days trying to erase the images of Shaniya Davis out of my mind. It was just too much to imagine what that child endured. 
It has been warm here in the South, I think I may follow your lead out in the garden tomorrow too. I always feel closer to God out there in the garden.

@Titch I think the prayer card is a beautiful sentiment for all of the families related to this case.

You sure would think so, but you would have to have proof of who was on the computer I guess. I doubt very much if it was Shawn's mother looking at in on her computer, and the memory disk that was in the dresser certainly seems to point to Billie and Shawn, but one would sure think that with a consensual search, one of them would have gotten rid of it. And now I see Billie is denying that it is hers or Shawn, I hate to think who she is going to blame for that being in her dresser.

  As Jerry Springer as this whole case has been, I can't even imagine.  I will FLIP if she attempts to point a finger at HER son! 

That is what I am afraid she may do.
