I feel so sorry for him !
He is all cleaned up, clean shaven and looks great ! Naomi as well.
Now if we could get him into an outpatient program for the pot, or
drug intervention classes it would be a big accomplishment and
assure the new baby of good life.

Ugh...I got up after going to sleep, restless night so I'm finding myself here pondering a few thoughts in the wee hours of the morning.

Ya know, in light of what was disclosed my mind went back to revisiting it being reported that Billie worked as a stripper, despite her being 33 yet has the underdeveloped body of a younger girl or maybe that is exactly why she was hired.  The reason I'm bringing that up is because that inandofitself would indicate that she is desensitized.   She met Shawn on line & then carried on a relationship while she was still living with Clint, bottom line she cheated on her husband...was that a first time during their marriage, something tells me no.   It makes me have further consideration that she knew what was on that memory stick and/or what she shared with Shawn together for that matter.  Their other self-described "hobby" was looking at gore & "studying" murder cases..her constant flat affect seems to indicate that she is void of all moral compass & has a twisted sense of priorities.  It was also said that Clint mentioned that Shawn was supposedly upset & jealous that she striped (I cant remember if that was said in his own words in an interview or someone mentioned what he said but I do remember it being said).

She bothered to get a nursing license at one point in her life, I guess to some degree she was a decent mother up to a certain point but yet she got hooked on prescription drugs, got together with a violent sociopath & decided to start stripping...these are choices she made herself & there is no one else to blame for it but her.   She had several chances to get Shawn out of her & her childrens' lives, instead she made it a he said/she said cat and mouse game involving 911 several times...if you listen to her snide remarks on the calls it was meant to "get back" at Shawn more than it was for protection.   BILLIE put her children at risk, played with fire & seemed to enjoy screwing with people's heads, including Shawn.   It seems that all her recent year activity revolved around resentment that her youth was taken from her early, why because she got pregnant as a teen.  In essence, she has been rebelling responsibility & acting out after spending years tied down to it.

The last straw for me was hearing her denials & claims of being in the dark after it was disclosed what was found at her house & Shawn's mother's house.   The entire raw interview was filled with major deception.  She is more upset that she has to further defend Shawn and herself than she is that something happened to Hailey.   There is only one reason why she cannot and will not be outraged with Shawn, she has guilt by participation to some degree or knowledge after the fact regarding why the world has not seen Hailey.

This made me cry. I am seriously hoping beyond all hope that Clint and Naomi rise above all negativity and make a positive difference in their children's lives.

I'd also like to point out an observation:

Considering the poverty that demographic has, and the fact that Naomi is on public assistance, she has handled herself with so much more respect and dignity than anybody I've seen. Isn't it ironic that for being on assistance she's shown true class? She is beside Clint in just about everything involving Hailey, all the searches, handing out flyers, speaking at the rally - you name it she's there. It most definitely appears she truly cares about Hailey. She's never once stooped to Billie's level, never once spewed disparaging remarks, didn't even say anything negative about Billie herself - that speaks well for Naomi's character. When Billie used her son's name in a negative connotation, my claws came out. Naomi, on the other hand, took the high road not shouting a comeback. Billie tried to throw Clint & Naomi under the bus - Naomi never issued a comeback. ETC.

I really hope and pray they rise above all the bad stuff in their pasts and garner strength from those experiences, learn what is appropriate and not appropriate, don't make the same mistakes again, set achievable goals that aim for a bigger picture. Everybody has dreams. Nobody ever has a dream to become a pothead or druggie. Nobody has a dream to raise their children on assistance without trying to find a job. I'm not knocking people on assistance bc they need to be - don't anybody take it that way. I believe you have to work hard for things, otherwise it'll never be appreciated. Children learn from their superiors. Set a good example and your children will follow. If you have to work 2 jobs for a couple of years to pay off bills & better your credit rating - then do it. Your children will appreciate that you are a hard worker.

I feel so terrible for this family going through what they are going through. It seems as though they never had any hopes and dreams. They were all led to believe they are "nobody", in Connie's own words - they are all SOMEBODY. Once they start taking those babysteps, they'll finally start to believe that they can accomplish things in life.

I hope peace finds them.

Since Shawn lived with his grandmother for years, including in the early part of January when Billie says she asked him to leave "because she didn't know what to believe and had to sort things out", I'd like to know, did law enforcement investigators seize a computer from the grandmother's home as well?

Since Hailey was known to use the computer at the library there in town, according to her friend, were those computers at that library seized?

Since Billie Jean Dunn printed questionable info regarding true crime sadistic murders off of a computer at her workplace, did police seize any of those computers from her work[/u]?

Did Shawn have a laptop?

The iPhone that Hailey sometimes utilized, did police track the owner of that phone and seize the data records?

Since Hailey had several accounts online, posting on Facebook and MySpace (maybe other unknown places), have police seized those records from those companies as well?

What are the results from the Xbox's built in harddrive?

Hey, from that same Nancy Grace transcript link, MB and her boyfriend were interviewed by police. I thought police only interviewed MB. I don't remember anything about the boyfriend.

Also, from that same transcript, Marc Klaas painted a bad picture of the authorities in this case - from the beginning. He judged them without even knowing the information they had. The police do not owe Marc or the public anything when it comes to evidence. If they broadcast that info when obtained, it could be thrown out in a court of law. Period. Since Marc is such an awesome advocate for these missing children and victims of injustice, the public gives his opinions credibility. IMO, he hindered this investigation by automatically taking Billie's side from the beginning. Now look at what police had. I wonder how far they'd have gotten if Marc didn't judge them so publicly, on a nationwide television network mind you. By taking Billie's side automatically, he could unintentionally helped some of the public perceive her in a better light, therefore making Billie able to survive on donations, donations from people's hard earned money bc their heartstrings were preyed upon. This is the same woman that allowed her children to basically go where they wanted without calling to check on them, the same woman that allowed a fuhreeeak into her home against both of her children's wishes, the same woman whom admitted to police investigators that the money taken from the ATM was used to purchase illegal narcotics - THE SAME WOMAN THAT WAS FOUND WITH A FLASH DRIVE IN HER DRAWER CONTAINING CHILD PORN & A DISK HIDDEN BEHIND DVDS IN HER ROOM THAT ALSO HAD CHILD PORN ON IT! My gosh. Notice that once Marc came to Billie's defense, it appears as though Billie gained strength bc she started saying that she didn't use that ATM money to purchase illegal narcotics, instead she used that money for groceries and/or gas or something. She started disagreeing with the police on a public forum - the media.

I absolutely love every single thing Marc Klaas stands for. I feel terrible for what he and his family have gone through. I'm so incredibly grateful that he's finally seen the light. I understand that Billie may still be innocent, but I don;t believe she is, bc either way she's guilty of negligence according to Texas CPS rules and laws.

The problem I have, though, is that Marc is such a wonderful advocate and people respect him - including ME - just about everyone worldwide respect him...but...he came to Billie's defense on a national network. It garnered attention nationwide. People shelved out donations from their hearts. Now he's seen the light, but it's too late bc now Billie and Shawn have become infamous with regards to Hailey's disappearance. IMO, he's helped Billie to gain some kind of credibility. That draws the attention of nationally reknowned criminal defense attorneys. If this turns into another Casey Anthony debacle, it'll be hard to overlook his actions.

As a side note, I absolutely despised the way Marc & Tim treated each other during the Hailey Cummings case. It appears as though Tim learned his lesson with how to act in the public media. As much as I love what Marc does, I lost a bit of respect for him...again...for doing the same thing except against different people this time.

Hailey's Father Raises Awareness at Metroplex Rally

MANSFIELD, TX -   Clint Dunn, father of missing 13-year-old Hailey Dunn, joined hundreds of people in a rally against human trafficking in Mansfield, Texas, Sunday.

The rally was hosted by Traffik 911, an organization that raises awareness for sexual slavery.
Clint Dunn said while he hates to think such a horrible thing could happen to his daughter, he's not ruling it out.

"I've been scared of that since the beginning. That's why I went to Mexico twice handing out flyers," said Dunn.

Missing teen's father urges faster action at anti-trafficking rally

The former boyfriend, Shawn Adkins, is the only suspect authorities have named, according to the Abilene Reporter-News. Some of the images that law enforcement personnel confiscated depict bestiality and child pornography, the newspaper reported.

"He was the last one to see my daughter alive, and that's why I think the police are spotlighting him," Clinton Dunn said. "I don't want to think he's guilty. If he's guilty, that means my daughter is probably dead, and I don't want to think like that."

Dunn said he traveled to Mansfield to raise awareness about human trafficking and missing-children cases. Precious time was wasted as officers inexperienced in tracking missing children worked on his daughter's case, he said.

"After two months, we're still at square one," he said. "We need better laws, and we need to start thinking outside the box on these cases."

Child porn and bestiality found on a flash drive and/or disk in her bedroom...negligence shown on her part by not checking on her children the way she should and bring Shawn into her homw after he was threatening as well as the fact that her children did not feel comfortable around him...and the media still gives her a public speaking forum in which to possibly mislead yet again? I was all for letting her speak so I could delve into the words she uses, I'm against it now. She makes me sick. I don;t care what her excuse is, she's a poor excuse of a mother imo.

This is an old article from Jan 22nd, but it shows the city's budget somewhat. I wonder if they have a fund set up for people to donate to, to assist and offset the cost of Hailey's investigation. If so, that is definitely something I'd donate to. I refuse to donate to Billie, and any organization that assists her. Again, I don't even care if she's innocent in Hailey's disappearance at this point, bc she still showed negligence to her children.
