I am just speculating here, but if they temporarily buried Natalee at the rocks below the lighthouse, I wonder if that area could be seen from the restaurant area that is by the lighthouse? I would be surprised as isolated as it is in that area that there wouldn't be a security guard on duty there.  

I believe the rocks are towards the hotels just below the restaurant, or that is where I am picturing them.  It may be further away. I wish Hotshot could tell me this.

Wasn't there a mention at one time that there was a car, or perhaps two cars, parked near the lighthouse and restaurant that they observed?   The restaurant is slightly below the lighthouse and overlooks the beach with the fishermans huts below it near the ocean.  If they were there, and the car was as loud as Joran proclaims, then wouldn't that alert a secruity guard to watch it?

Ok,  I just asumed they would need their lights on to drive to that area, and they could be tracked,  and  perhaps  the area checked later.

I agree that they beat her, also.  With Joran's penchant for violence, if Natalee aroused and resisted, he would have hit her, I have no doubt.  There's also the line from the police car conversation about them seeing that "shit."  That refers to beating marks on Natalee.  

The declarations about her falling down and hitting her head indicate either a head wound from a beating or perhaps they dropped her body when lifting her over the fence.  Perhaps both occurred.  I wonder if we'll ever know.
