The judges keep saying it wasn't as expected tonight.  I think they're saying J.R. has not done well.  Well. . . hello . . . . he has a sprained ankle.

If J.R. and Karina get the 4 points, they could be in real trouble.

Now I'm really worried.

In my opinion, in order of the best down to the worst for this dance

#1  Ricky
#2  JR
#3  Rob
#4  Hope

So all my votes will go to JR  Monkey Devil!   Although JR and Ricky may be equal as far as dance talent, I think JR is doing something more out of the norm for him.  Ricky has been an entertainer most all her life.

Klaas ~ in all my blathering and ranting, I've never thought about it the way you just said the bolded part.

Good gosh.  Rob and Cheryl 10 points.

'Dancing With the Stars' week 9 semifinals recap: Rob rises to top of  the pack as J.R. nurses ankle injury

J.R.'s injury affected his dancing on this week's competition, dropping him to third place on the scoreboard

BY Joyce Chen
NEW YORK DAILY NEWS

Rob and Cheryl defied all odds to come out on top during Monday night's 'Dancing With the Stars.'

And then there were four.

On Monday night's semifinals performance, the remaining four contestants on this season's "Dancing With the Stars" pushed themselves to the brink of breaking in order to vye for their spot in next week's finals.

And in what turned out to be the surprise upset of the season, Rob Kardashian and Cheryl pulled ahead of previous leaderboard champions J.R. Martinez and Karina.

"This week I pretty much just have to be more of a man than J.R.," Rob joked during rehearsals.

The "loser younger brother" poured his heart and soul into his performance and pulled off a colorful samba that had the judges raving and mom Kris tearing up in the audience.

"Who are you?!" Carrie Ann cried after Rob booty-shimmied across the dance floor.

"You went from 'Oh no' to 'Oh yes!'" Len smiled.

Rob, who cited his love for his late father as the main driving factor behind his "Dancing" journey, talked about being underestimated all his life during an emotional video montage that featured an embarassing photo of him dressed in girls' clothes as a young kid.

But underestimated he is no more. Rob's suave moves and endearing earnestness pulled him to the top of the scoreboard after he placed first in the cha-cha-cha relay at the end of the night, bringing him to a close second in points just behind Ricki Lake.

Ricki, who earned the only perfect score of the night for her samba with partner Derek, made up for any slack she may have had from last week's instant jive in what Bruno called "sizzling hot, brilliant sunshine."

"I feel like an egg that she laid," Derek said excitedly in the most bizarre comment of the season.

'Dancing With the Stars' Season 13 Semi-Finals: Hope's Attitude and J.R.'s Injury

by Crystal Bell, posted Nov 14th 2011 11:35PM

After tonight, I'm not sure the 'Dancing With the Stars' judges want Maks to continue on this season -- or any other season. Things got pretty awkward during the judges' critiques of Hope Solo and Maks' sexy-but-clumsy Argentine tango. When Carrie Ann started to criticize their sloppy lifts, she called out Maks for smiling.

"That's fine Maks, you can go ahead and keep smiling," she said, thinking that the professional looked a little too smug for her liking. Maks looked visibly stunned. I was pretty stunned too. I'm still not sure what she meant. Was he smiling inappropriately?

Well, this didn't exactly go over well with Hope, who after weeks of tension, exploded. "Maks was smiling because we should be smiling," the soccer star told Brooke Burke. "So Carrie Ann, thank you, Maks was smiling. This is my partner. Finally, we're happy!" Maks tried to stop his partner from making his previous mistake, but the damage was already done.

Unfortunately, for Hope, Carrie Ann wasn't smiling when she gave the pair an 8.

Thanks for all your comments Monkeys!

I read during the commercial breaks.

Don't find anything 'endearing' about Rob.  Guess I'm just a B*tch!

Surely JR'S past performances will count for something.  Hopefully next week, as his ankle heals, he will knock it out of the park.

Hi all!
I watched it all...it was an amazing show!  I am probably alone on this, but I think that Rob did fantastic..forget that he is a Kardashian...he has totally improved from where he started. He is trying so hard and you can see the confidence that he has gotten from this experience.
That being said, as long as Hope gets voted off, I will be happy with any of the 3 remaining dancers to win...Donny Osmond is saying that Hope will go home and that Rob will win the mirror ball..

Also, what in the heck is going on with Brook's hair?  good heavens.
