On last notable bizarre detail is the medical expert Dr. Ernst Stolz claiming that Natalee might have died due to a rare allergy to prostate fluid. It's an extremely rare condition with fewer than six reported cases a year in Europe, but it presents with the symptoms that van der Sloot described.

He got that right - it is bizarre!

Aruba Sees Secret Video in Holloway Case

ORANJESTAD, Aruba -- A hidden-camera interview with a Dutch student saying missing teenager Natalee Holloway was dead and that he had a friend dump her body at sea is admissible in court, the chief Aruban prosecutor said.

The courts in Aruba will likely accept the tape as evidence because it was recorded by a private citizen without any influence by authorities, Chief Prosecutor Hans Mos told reporters Monday.

"I take it very seriously," Mos said of the video.

The tape, which was first broadcast Sunday on Dutch television, has appeared to spur the investigation: Mos said authorities in the Netherlands searched two homes Monday where Joran Van der Sloot has lived while attending college there.

A judge in Aruba denied a prosecution request to detain Van der Sloot based on the new information. Mos said they will file an appeal Tuesday and expect a decision within a week.

The prosecutor declined to provide any details about the searches. Bert de Rooij, a lawyer for Van der Sloot in the Netherlands, said police took a hard drive and a laptop.

De Rooij, speaking on Dutch television Monday, said the college student would make himself available for questioning by authorities if necessary. "As far as Joran is concerned, that can happen soon," he told the news program "Nova."

In the secret recordings, Van der Sloot said Holloway, 18, was drunk and that she began shaking and slumped down on the beach as they were kissing in May 2005.

"Suddenly she started shaking and then she didn't say anything," Van der Sloot said in Dutch, adding that he did not kill her. "I would never murder a girl."

He said he panicked and tried but failed to revive her. He said that Holloway looked dead but that he could not be sure she was not still alive when a friend took her away. Van der Sloot identified the friend only as "Daury."

Chris Lejeuz, an attorney for a 21-year-old man named Daury Rodriguez, who is an associate of Van der Sloot's, appeared with his client at a news conference in Oranjestad Monday and denied his client had any role in Holloway's death.

Mos said prosecutors believe Van der Sloot was telling the truth in the video because he seemed to struggle as he told the story and repeated it several times

What's the status of Lorenzo at Aruba at this moment? Is he really an untouchable? And armed to the teeth? Could it be possible that Lorenzo knows so much about for example drugs-use of politicians and other authorities that he's protected? And can he in turn protect de Vandersloots? Does anyone know?

HI EURobert. I believe he is protected. Protected by Dennis Jacobs, head of the narcotics division until Natalee disappeared. There was a picture on the wall of Lorenzo in Jacob's office as described by either Dave Holloway or Cliff Van Zant. I forget which one made that statement.

I always thought he was DEA (or Dutch equivalent) because we could never find anything.  Retribution for his father's "suicide".  Come to think of it...might explain Jean Akers at Van der Sloots...

The rock scene baffles me the most...

There is NO paint left on the painted rocks. Whatever they used, when dried, peeled up in sheets of hard plastic like stuff.

ALE said they were painted to deter tourists from running into them, getting stuck in the sand. It seems like the only year they have ever been painted (in the island's history) was in 2005 (June).

Also, when Dave Holloway drove towards an unknown person, observed to be loading a large object into the back of a pick-up truck, they took off like a bat out of hell.

Joran and Lorenzo are part of the 'bibba leker gang' as evidences by the tickle sites in the very beginning. I posted their connections to each other as well as K2 boys, they had each others pictures on their own pages as well as all the local girls. They loved partying and "activities" (direct quote). The activities include finding tourists, taking them to safe places, all for sex, using the drugs and alcohol to loosen the girls up. Read my previous posts.  Lorenzo is taking in thousands and thousands of dollars a WEEK doing what he does best. Joran was a 17 year old spoiled punk, Lorenzo  would NOT help him get rid of a body, it would be too much of a risk to himself.
Joran says on tape thet he called, explained what happened and said come down now. That is son in trouble calling  dad.

Joran says D told him to go to school and also to the casino so as not to look suspicious. Dad again

Paulus had Ben Voking at the house within 2 days as well as Van Der Straaten with him daily. This is a COVER UP.
  WE NEED TO CONTACT ALL AVAILABLE MEDIA TO START AN INVESTIGATION ON THESE THREE MEN.
 They are the source of the info leaked out, siezures, dead for sure with no body,  missing evidence, inconsistent storiies from within the ALE and so on.

They knew by day 3 what happened -- around June 2, 2005 -- and they still arrested Mickey Johns and Abraham Jones under suspicion of murdering Natalee Holloway, on June 5, 2005, or 3 days later.

SO sure arrest the goon and make him tell even more -- and I hope Mos gets the appeal decision he needs to do so.

BUT THERE ARE "HIGHER POWER(S)" -- who are looking just as suspicious, and even guilty.  Who is questioning Jan van der Stratten, Dennis Jacobs, officer Tromp, and the female investigator about how they knew to ask Jug, Beth and other family members REPEATEDLY, ACROSS A NUMBER OF DAYS whether Natalee had a history of epilepsy and/or seizures?

It is very clear that Joran mentioned siezures in his first statements. There is no other reason for Van der Straten, Dennis Jacobs, et all to bring that up as JQK pointed out.

Correct, they arrested the security guards anyway and then withheld Joran's statements from the guards' lawyers. Joran's first statements have never surfaced.

Why? Because Van der Straten and Karin Jannsen knew they would incriminate Joran and they were busy helping him frame the Kalpoes.

This probably goes much higher up. Rudy Croes was Jannsen's boss. Antonio Carlo, Joran's lawyer and Paulus' business partner, sat on the board of AHATA. We know AHATA was behind the campaign to trash Natalee and Beth.

Is this a fact? Mark P. Jr. was a bartender at Moombas and was reported to have the date rape drug (for personal use) in his possession? Didn't one of the statements say they (J2k) stopped by a bar for some reason after getting Natalee in the car after leaving C & C's? If he provided the date rape drug, doesn't it seem like he would be the one to call if their was a bad reaction?

Very possible but I think it's more likely Joran actually called his father.

Have been away from this site via computer for a long, long time.  But, Natalee has always been on my mind.  Can we pray-that someone still has that fabric retireved from the rocks is still in someone's possession?  I keep seeing that guy holding it up and the wind blowing...pray someone still has it and that it proves to be her top.

Short of a full confession that he murdered Natalee I can't see any reason they would want to talk to Joran. Maybe they could trap him in a statement but they have proven to be totally lame when it comes to interrogation.
