I could be wrong but ... If the circled image is a photo taken in front of the prison upon the release of Joran van der Sloot in September, 2005 ... then I believe that it is Jean Akers.  A while later at the VDS' residence ... Beth observed Jean in attendance at a Welcome Home celebration for Joran.

The island authorities originally planned to release the three suspects at two o-clock in the morning on Saturday, September 3.  The Strategic Communications Task Force undoubtedly helped them make a less conspicuous move and release them in the afternoon instead.  Curious to see the setup at the van der Sloot house for Joran's parade of victory, I drive by there, never in a million years expecting to see who is there.  It's the U.S. vice-consul.  At the van der Sloots' house.  Why is she here?  She spots me.  Jumps in her car and follows me to a resturant parking lot, waving, honking, calling on the cell phone.  I don't want to talk to her.  Who can we trust?

Call me crazy, but the circled woman looks like Karin Janssen to me.  Then again, I thought it was Paulus at the casino straightaway.

The 20/20 special was on our local channel after all ... it just was not listed in the guide.  The program was recorded on a tape.  However ... it almost cost my 42 marriage.  My hubby almost began recording over Beth's interview on the Oprah Winfrey.  I screamed ... he stopped the recording and ... I then fast forwarding the tape.

You know, if Natalee's case had been allowed to just fade away, DeVries might not have jumped at the chance to set up this sting. Patrick may not have thought it worthy to take it to deVries either.

On the vid about lorenzo also the Dj said because he was getting a lot of reactions from the people of Aruba ' On aruba they know more , but they are affraid to talk about it' A lot of people said that the OM has to question this guy. People of aruba said that he is supposed to be the 1/2 brother of Joran.

The person that said "It will shock the world" certainly had that correct. Thinking of a live Natalee dumped at sea had/has me in shock.

 Me too Shell.. made me sick to hear the goon say he didnt know for sure if she was dead or alive.   

I was thrilled to hear him state that fact, because absent an autopsy showing that Natalee died before she was drowned, the presumption will have to be that she was alive when he conspired to have her dumped into the ocean, causing her death. NO BODY NO AUTOPSY ALIVE WHEN DROWNED JORAN. POETIC JUSTICE FOR THE NO BODY NO CASE FAMILY:)

And, when they find her, if she was in a container and in cold enough water, experts can still tell if she was alive or not when she went in the water.

Aruba thinks they are soooo smart, but their level of intelligence does not remotely impress me.

Technicalities - Ben King blocked doors and would let prosecutor into courtroom to try case. Judge Wit said there was no evidence. The marijuana was accidentally smoked before the court date. Since everyone was stoned, and the prosecutor could not get in the courtroom, a mistrial was declared.
