hi everyone, how are all you super monkey's doing?

Not posted much lately. Mostly lurking and doing other stuff here at home.

I read this comment posted over on Michelle's Boycott blog and thought I would bring it over and share. It's a really excellent idea. Since MsMarple has done such a wonderful job I thought maybe someone could try this too. Or a group effort.

The real victim in all of this is Natalee. No matter if she is alive or dead the fact remains that she is a victim. She is a victim of Aruba, all of those involved in her disappearance, all of those involved in the cover up, of crime and corruption.

Its a shame and disgrace that it has come down to having to boycott Aruba to demand that justice be made in reference to Natalee. Aruba has always wanted this case to go away ever since Natalee vanished.

For that reason I think everyone should take the opposite approach
and do everything possible to expose what goes on illegally in Aruba. A good attorney will tell you documentation, documentation, documentation and to always keep copies of your correspondance.

I think it would be a good idea to create a new website just for documentation pertaining to boycotting Aruba. MAke it public!
Take the documentation and evidence to the world via the internet. (Or send it to Interpol International Police and United Nations)

Keep documentation in mind when you are working on the boycott of Aruba.

A quote that I like....

"Let no one be discouraged by the belief that there is nothing one man or one woman can do against the enormous array of the world's ills -- against misery and ignorance, injustice and violence... Few will have the greatness to bend history itself; but each of us can work to change a small portion of events, and in the total of all those acts will be written the history of this generation...
It is from the numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped. Each time a man (or a woman) stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he (or she) sends a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance."

Is Charles Croes the poster known as Shango?  I don't know but I found this in my internet travels:

Yes,  it is the wind. Sometimes I think of Edgar Alan Poe and his "THE BELLS" and somehow tie the two together.
I was then and will alsways be at your services.

"The Bells"  Edgar Allan Poe

Part 4

Hear the tolling of the bells-
Iron Bells!
What a world of solemn thought their monody compels!
In the silence of the night,
How we shiver with affright
At the melancholy menace of their tone!
For every sound that floats
From the rust within their throats
Is a groan.
And the people- ah, the people-
They that dwell up in the steeple,
All Alone
And who, tolling, tolling, tolling,
In that muffled monotone,
Feel a glory in so rolling
On the human heart a stone-
They are neither man nor woman-
They are neither brute nor human-
They are Ghouls:
And their king it is who tolls;
And he rolls, rolls, rolls,
Rolls
A paean from the bells!
And his merry bosom swells
With the paean of the bells!
And he dances, and he yells;
Keeping time, time, time,
In a sort of Runic rhyme,
To the paean of the bells-
Of the bells:
Keeping time, time, time,
In a sort of Runic rhyme,
To the throbbing of the bells-
Of the bells, bells, bells-
To the sobbing of the bells;
Keeping time, time, time,
As he knells, knells, knells,
In a happy Runic rhyme,
To the rolling of the bells-
Of the bells, bells, bells:
To the tolling of the bells,
Of the bells, bells, bells, bells-
Bells, bells, bells-
To the moaning and the groaning of the bells.

I never use the word roll/rolled to describe a person's body movement.
I know in the song "Proud Mary" the line is "rolling on the river" but it follows the line  "Big wheel keeps on turning".  Then there are songs that use the phrase "rolling along" but to say someone "rolled through a maze" is unusual and is mentioned in the Shango posts and the Poe poem contains the line  " he rolls, rolls, rolls, rolls"  I don't even know how to interpret either line.  What do they mean?

Then there is this from Shango:

Shango Says: June 27th, 2005 at 10:31 pm
Mary never heard the buoy toll
ask the men who play dice and “roll”

...and the use of the words tolls and tolling in  "The Bells"; a poem that Charles Croes knows from memory and one that I have never heard of.
Hmmmm.

Hi Leslie-

Lala's will have a field day with this, I'll email her to ensure she's aware of it.

I fear I suspect only that Charles is being cryptic to play further head games with Grande and with the world. I find lots of abusive men do that, play mind games - he might well be a master.

I wonder what he learned during his stay in jail in Aruba?

Charles better be careful of the games he plays because it might come back and bite him.

Maybe someone should play some mind games with Charles.  Oh I forgot the ALE did that already and beat him at it.  I wonder how Charles feels taking orders from the ALE.

If Shango had Edgar Allan Poe in mind when he wrote the following, why is Natalee Holloway called Mary?

I researched "Mary" and Edgar Allan Poe :

"The Mystery of Marie Roget" is a story by Edgar Allan Poe written in 1842. This is the first murder mystery revolving around a real crime. It first appeared in the Ladies' Companion in three installments, November and December 1842 and February 1843.

Origins
The narrative is based upon the murder of Mary Cecilia Rogers, a young woman known popularly as "The Beautiful Cigar Girl," who disappeared on October 4, 1838 in New York. Only a few days later the newspapers announced her return. It was said she had eloped with a naval officer.

Three years later, on July 25, 1841, again she disappeared. Her body was found floating in the Hudson River three days later. The details surrounding the case suggested she was murdered. The death of this beautiful and well-known girl received national attention for weeks.

Months later, the inquest still ongoing, her fiance was found dead, an act of suicide. By his side a remorseful note and an empty bottle of poison were found..

Writing about this as a sequel to "The Murders in the Rue Morgue", Poe tried to solve the aforementioned enigma by creating a murder mystery. He situated the narrative in Paris using the details of the original tragedy.

Although there was intense media interest and immortalization of a sort by Poe, the crime remains one of the most puzzling unsolved murders of New York City.

OK, it is a series of slot machines based on Marvel Comic Book superheroes.  So I guess those slot machines are designed for internet online gambling, not sure.  But here is something about them.  Since Shango, Simian et al are Marvel Comic Book Characters as is SandraK perhaps there is a casino connection rather than one to ALE.

quote:

In 2005, Intercasino struck a licensing deal with Marvel to develop some slots games themed around the Marvel superheroes. Cryptologic developed the games and the results were nothing short of sensational.
http://www.online-gambling-insider.com/marvel-comics-slots.asp

So apparently the Marvel theme is popular for casino/gambling.  Just late night rambling, nothing more. . . .  Wink

.

In a mega partnership, Marvel and Partnerlogic are now offering online slot machines based on the greatest Marvel characters. The Incredible Hulk, The Punisher, X-Men, Daredevil, and Blade slot machines will be available for online game play starting October 3rd, 2005. To learn more, click here.

(PRWEB) October 1, 2005 -- In a mega partnership, Marvel and Partnerlogic are now offering online slot machines based on the greatest Marvel characters. The Incredible Hulk, The Punisher, X-Men, Daredevil, and Blade slot machines will be available for online game play starting October 3rd, 2005. To learn more, click here.

Which Online Casinos Will The New Marvel Slot Machines Be Located?

The new games will only be located at one of the web’s most established casinos, InterCasino. The marketing partner, Casino Watchdogs, will be running complete marketing information about the new Marvel slot machines.

What Are The New Features Of The Slot Machines?

The new slot machine games will have 9 lines with varying betting amounts. Like Las Vegas slot machines, these new slot machines will have bonus games. For example, The Incredible Hulk slot machine will have a bonus game featuring the green muscle up against a tank and helicopter. Wonder who will win?

What Are The Prizes?

The Marvel Heroes slot machines will allow the player a chance to win up to $10,000. There is a new Marvel Hero Jackpot that can be won by matching the bonus symbols. For the first time on the Internet, there will be a multi-level jackpot with three separate jackpots to be won. Players will be able to win cash prizes in US dollars, Pounds, and Euros.

Some of the top casino game producers say that this new line of games will add a new dimension of online slot play. Once the successes of these games are known we should see an expansion of movie, music, and TV online slot machines.

Catch a ride on this new online game, a downloadable slot machine. Win real money as you pull the handle and take your chances. This version, in a fusion between Intercasino, Partnerlogic, and Marvel, brings one of your favorite vigilantes, The Punisher, into your home. An eye for an eye can keep you on the edge of your seat. (The Punisher Slot Machine is coming in October 2005)

Like all good superheroes, Punisher fell on some hard times in his life before super powers. As Frank Castle, he was a devoted family man and Marine. Through a stroke of bad luck, his little family walked into the middle of a murder in New York’s Central Park, killing everyone but Frank. His oath to his family was to fight anyone he deemed criminal.

The Punisher first showed his face as an anti-hero and the alter ego Frank Castle in a 1974 Spiderman comic. Such a following did he earn, that his creators, Gerry Conway and John Romita, Sr., had to give him his own storyline. Remade for the silver screen in 2004, Punisher is joined by Tattooed Mike, Harry Heck, Spacker Dave and a whole slew of old and new faces. The movie release helped to boost action figure sales as well as get fans buying the comics again. Role model for teens, Punisher’s basic black garb save for the skeleton on his chest, can make parents a bit nervous. His intentions are good, though, to get the criminals at all costs.

Take a leap this October. Punisher is his all time best in this online game of chance. Intercasino, Partnerlogic, and Marvel are betting that you’ll like what you see. If you don’t check out this one out, you’ll be sorry. The Punisher will make sure of that.

Download the official Press Release here.

Good morning, monkeys!

Working and lurking today.

LESLIE,

"Rolled" is also slang for taking Ecstasy.  Not sure if it applies to other drugs and don't have a link but that UrbanDictionary.com might have something on it.  Not even sure if it means taking yourself or being drugged by others or what but has to do with something along those lines in some uses.

OT

I'm a contractor and I decided to see what positions there are out of state and I have a lot of responses and one of those responses wants to meet today because they flew into town and wanted to meet near the airport, well I just wanted them to know that I would be there for the meeting but I sent it to one of their Competitors and its kinda like thinking your talking to your girlfriend and your talking to someone else..  Well hopefully they all have a sense of humor but actually I don't think they do..  Example: the guy that I accidentally called asked me if I was going to be difficult if they made an offer, what does that mean????
