In this video it shows searchers walking thru the pond shoulder to shoulder. Surely they must be looking for something a body would have been contained in; otherwise evidence could be destroyed without them even knowing it…..

I am beginning to think Putnam County Le is as stupid as all the criminals involved in this case. Seems to me they are doing a half-ass job at everything . At least Orange County threw Casey's lying butt in jail and charged her with lying and child neglect . They have known Misty has been lying for 7 months...why not throw her butt in the slammer for lying to LE?

I agree they must be discreet when doing an investigation.  You all know how a few words gets added to make the sentence a bit longer.  Then the rumors start...

Now, supposed they would have told what was taking place....do you think Misty would still have been around Welaka???? 

I see they try to give out info without dislosing the real truth and giving us abit of a heads up, without really telling us the 'whole truth'.

I feel sure they were not walking that close looking for four-wheelers either. It just does not make sense to drain a pond to look for stolen four wheelers when insurance would cover them.

They need proof that she was lying.  Maybe NOW they have that proof.  Prior, what the heck would they have said...to prove she was lying.

Stolen four wheelers in a pond, I don't know much about four wheelers, but if you steal them, I'm figuring you are going to try to sell them for some fast cash, and you probably wouldn't get a lot of money for them if they were water logged

Unless you stole one to conceal a body. I would think there is a lot of silt on the bottom of that pond. In some of the shots it looked like they were having to help each other take steps. I know the water wasn't supposed to be more than 5 feet before they started pumping. Whatever they are looking for many be partially in the silt. JMO
